Maze map so you can save a measly $2.00 -- come on! This should be included with the purchases for this attraction.
Nancy W.

Took my grandkids here for some Halloween fun, and was looking forward to it. Great ride on the train with some very creative scenes of skeleton living -- that was our favorite. Otherwise, just OK. Maze was good, although you had to pay extra for a map which I think should just be included. Oh, and we wanted to buy pumpkins but there weren't any signs about the pricing in the actual pumpkin patches -- you had to walk to the far side of the admission tent to get any pricing. Oh, and for the maze, unbelievable that you have to buy a separate MAP of the maze. Mine is below so you can save a few bucks. My grandkids were thirsty and there is no water available without having to buy overpriced bottles at the Hopmonk stand. Overall, it was overpriced fun.

We love coming hear. I like that the corn pit is shaded, that makes a difference in the heat. Great bounce house area, the tractor train (grain train) is so cute and thoughtful, not too scary. Great selection of pumpkins. It's an annual tradition for us!

What an awesome fall day spent at the Mickelson pumpkin patch. My family went on a Tuesday around 1pm. It was a sunny mid 70s, wonderful weather in Sonoma County. There was so much to do and lots of space for social distancing. They have free activities and paid attractions (see picture for fees 10/5/21). We chose to buy the $24 wristband for the kids. The wristbands came with two tickets so we could join the kids in one of the paid activities. Corn pits - The kids especially loved the corn pits. There are two corn pits and they were bigger than most corn pits I've seen. I appreciate that. Corn maze - The corn maze walls were tall enough to "trap" my kids (6 year old and 3 year old). They had so much fun trying to find their way out. Even though I could see pass the walls, it was still challenging enough for me and my husband to not easily find our way out. I like how there were "pockets" in hay maze where the kids could peek through the walls, but couldn't squeeze through for a shortcut. My 3 year old tried while he was trying to catch up with his sister lol. Grain Train - I liked it. It was relaxing and I loved the Halloween scenes like the "graveyard" along the way. The tombstones were funny. I'm hoping they'll continue to add more scene in future seasons. Jumpy zone - very, very big. They have a huge shark, tiger, pirate ship, and Spider-Man inflatables. They also have two jump house which accommodated the littler ones. I like the variety. The kids could have more options and not feel left out if they couldn't get on a particular inflatable. Haha they can just move on to the next one. However, warning, sunny days especially hot days, inflatables might not be the best attractions. The slides can become hot by the sun and sliding down can be painful unless maybe if the kids are wearing long sleeves and pants. Pedal bikes - they have several bikes available to ride in their enclosed racetrack built with hay bales. Petting farm - the animals were so cute! You are not allowed to feed them. There were several corn holes and pumpkin checker tables. There was also lawn size Jenga, bowling, and lawn size connect 4. Me and my husband enjoyed these activities while the kids played. Who doesn't like to challenge their partner? :) We didn't try the apple cannon or the paint ball this year, maybe next year. But I must admit, seeing these attractions on their website got my husband's attention to choose the Mickelson pumpkin patch over other patches. There was just so much to do, we forgot. Other worthy notes: - there are lots of hand sanitizers throughout the property - there are 5 outdoor bathrooms available and sinks too. Clean. - they sell cute toys and souvenirs - don't forget their pumpkin patch! Pricing pictured. We spent a total of 3 hours here. The most time I've ever spent at a pumpkin patch with my family. Money well spent on the wristbands in my opinion. We just had so much fun. We look forward to coming back next year!

So fun and I loved the train ride! There's pigs and cows, an apple canon, and a paintball wall!

This pumpkin patch was perfect for littles! I live the set up and organization of all the different activities to do. Our kids loved the hay ride, corn pit, all the fun jumpy options, the corn maze is perfect height for kids to feel comfortable navigating, the pumpkin field was great and cannot forget the yummy food options! The staff was very kind and helpful. I especially have to thank the kind brunette girl who was working the jumpy area last Thursday because she helped my very strong headed daughter go down the biggest jumpy and helped her feel comfortable climbing up. It was very sweet! We can't wait to come at night next!

Very cute little pumpkin patch! Everyone is very friendly. We enjoyed the maze a lot. Prices seem a bit high though.

We spotted this place on the way up north and decided to stop on our way back down. Totally worth it!!! Expensive but super fun for kids and families. Free entrance and free parking. You pay for some of the kids actives, food, drinks and pumpkins. This is their first year and it is obvious how much work they put into this pumpkin patch. From the adorable signs along the road to the detail in the layout. They have games for all ages, and of course pumpkins! My 9-year-old loved the Hay Maze and my 3-year-old loved the train ride. The petting zoo was sweet. Parking was easy. Hand sanitizer everywhere. Staff were very friendly and professional. Highly recommend!

Backdrop made for a nice photo opp.

Such a sweet time and plenty for big kids to get into, too. I brought my 11yo and her two friends, paid for a wristband for all of them and set them loose. They had a blast for 3 hours straight in the bounce houses, on the slide, corn pit, candy cannon, train. My partner and I enjoyed ourselves under the shade drinking lemonade. We also had fun with a game of corn hole and bowling (they had Jenga and checkers too). The decor was high quality and tasteful and I got lots of great photos. Truly memorable, fun fall experience.

No Halloween is complete without going here! Come one come all so worthy. The quality Apple shooting, corn toss, hay ride, strawberry lemonade and French fries omg. The folks that work there fabulous. Happy Fall Y'all

There are tons of bounce houses, of which the smaller are included in the entrance fee and the larger ones cost $ to participate -- which a punch pass can be purchased for. We went on a Sunday. The price for adults was $7 each, and the price for our 7-year-old was $5. You get a stamp on your hand, but be careful because it easily washes off. I recommend getting stamped on your inner wrist. The food was expensive -- $30 for 3 tacos and 1 drink -- but I suppose that's to be expected at a venue such as this. A platter of Dino chicken nuggets and fries was $10, and the cotton candy was $8. Parking is free. Bathrooms are porta potties and gross, as you can imagine. Staff are friendly. The haunted trail is recommended for kids ages 12+, and I would agree that little kids should not be on this trail. It is more gory than it is haunted. There are several buildings along the trail, and may be 2-3 of the building could be seen as more haunted, but the rest of them were very gory. One was outright bloody (think scenes from Texas Chainsaw Massacre). The punch pass has no expiration date so can be used again at a future visit. The property is really large, so even though there are a lot of people, it doesn't feel extremely crowded even if the parking lot is packed. I would recommend this place for families who have older kids who aren't yet teenagers. And skip the haunted trail if you have a little ones with you.

The pricing is based on size which means most of the pumpkins are at least $10-$15. Some of the pumpkins looked good for picking but they were still on the vine, so I imagine people can only pick from the pre cut ones. They had a decent selection for mini pumpkins and gourds. The mini white pumpkins had some imperfections and started at $4 so I unfortunately decided to pass on them. There are some cute photo ops, and there's an ATM on site. The corn maze is probably one of their most popular attractions but my fiancé and I decided not to do it. There's a children's playground that's extra cost, some turkeys, chickens, lambs and horses in the pens. There are some stands for corn dogs, popcorn and lemonade. Lots of parking. I think what's nice about this pumpkin patch is it's free entry and you pay for the stuff you want to participate in/buy which is nice!

Peterson's Farm is a small working farm in a hilly rural area just outside of Petaluma. Don't expect a huge parking lot, jumpy houses, sprawling corn mazes and haunted houses. Peterson's is small, intimate, quaint, and low-key. The grounds are very pretty with many trees, barns and fields, etc. However, the patch is rather small and I agree with another reviewer who mentioned the pumpkin selection was pretty slim for early October. They probably have a lot of schools going there to pick up pumpkins during the week. On the grounds you'll find adorable cows, bunnies, ponies, chickens, and geese that you can feed. There are many beehives, a couple apple trees, and a small barn where you can purchase honey and other things like tomatoes and soap (if they have any in stock). The farm is perfect for small children or babies. I wish the areas surrounding the patch were a little more maintained. There are a few dilapidated fences and structures that are laying around in piles and instead of being removed, just have caution tape around them. These "props" did not look good in the background of the photos I was trying to shoot of my toddler picking a pumpkin. Overall this place is really cute and perfect for small children. They have wagons that you can take out to the field to haul your pumpkins back. Luckily, Peterson's doesn't get too crowded on the weekends and there was plenty of parking in their small lot. The pumpkins are reasonably priced according to size, rather than weight. Bring cash because they don't take cards.

Like I said, Peterson's is a real live working farm. The pumpkin patch size was on the smaller side, we got fantastic pictures of my daughter sitting around a bunch of pumpkins in, OH MY GOD, the dirt!!! I was totally stoked to come here and am thrilled that my money has gone directly to helping a family farm thrive. My husband and I laughed at a family that showed up dressed, well, for a stroll in the city... The mother all but had high heels on. Clearly, they were really looking for a place where their spawn could jump in bouncy houses and have a Disney-fied experience of a harvest tradition. They never took the kids out of the Armada and split as soon as they realized that they'd be walking in dirt to peruse the pumpkin patch. Peterson's offers educational tours for children on honey farming, and they grow other seasonal delights in addition to pumpkins - tomatoes, persimmons, dried flowers... I can't wait until my daughter is a bit older to bring her back here, perhaps in the spring, so get another gander at the chickens and cows and ponies (OH MY!!!).
