They offer delivery service so you don't gave to put the tree on your car roof or wherever. Everything you need is there, and the process is quick. About the only thing I'd improve is the scheduling for delivery. We were promised 1-2:30 because we had some business meetings in the afternoon. After a couple calls the delivery folks showed up at 2:50 -- fortunately his meeting had ended and my 3 o'clock one hadn't started yet so we tag teamed and got the tree up in the living room okay.

Five stars simply for having the tallest, best silver tips available anywhere at this point in time…read moreso close to Christmas. It is high in price but these are super rare trees that need EXPENSIVE permits and the permitting process got lots worse and more limiting this year. The second wave of silver tips never came this year. I usually wait around on the sidelines to get them - these trees grow only at 6,000 feet and some years they get snowed in. Still, today if you want a 11+ foot tall tree that is silver tip - I think this is your only option. There is one more on Park St Alameda and another on Solano Ave in I think Albany - but they all have lower inventory of the tallest and nicest and most expensive. The best it just good enough for me when it comes to Christmas trees. This year it has become a careful chess game with the low inventory, the blizzard situations in the mountains and the new more limiting and expensive permitting process. Yes, I lurk around these tree farms and kick tires and take mental notes about what's going on. And I can guarantee if you have a hotel lobby or a beautiful home with vaulted ceilings and you want the tree to go all the way to the ceiling - this is your best bet.

Really frustrated about not being able to bring my entire family along. We are outside, pumpkins come from farms, and yet dogs are not allowed at all of the "best" pumpkin patches (service animal only limitations are extremely irritating). If you want snacks and rides then go to the "better" pumpkin patches. If you want to be able to bring your whole family (well-behaved pets welcome!) and support local business come here. I saw two young boys play fighting in the patch and nobody even blinked. Yet my dogs that are well trained and better behaved than a majority of adults I meet are not welcomed? A worker here gave my dog treats, and hid the treats so kids don't accidentally eat them. The people that work here care and they have my business going forward.

We lined up at our 730pm check-in time and waited 35 minutes in the cold and were only halfway through the line. We left because it would have been another 25-35 more minutes to get through the line. We did not enter the trail until 720pm, and that is after getting in line at 640pm. Just be aware. Which is fine, my family had fun and the actors inside are funny and well rehearsed. However, since we waited so long, we got out of the trail around 750pm. My kid wanted to play the carnival games, which close at 8pm, so we bought some tickets to play, and were out to the carnival by 752pm, they had already taken everything down and had only a few simple games still up. My kid was bummed, but I figured since there were no refunds, I could go back and get a snack instead with my tickets. I was denied and told to come back next week to redeem the tickets. I know this is all for a good cause and it really isn't too big of a deal, but it is silly that I literally bought the tickets within a minute and then walked back after the carnival being closed and then denied to even use the tickets on anything else and then told to come back next week. They were told not to sell any tickets since they were closing up the carnival early, but I guess it wasn't communicated well. I guess we will be back to use up the tickets next weekend...?

The pricing is based on size which means most of the pumpkins are at least $10-$15. Some of the pumpkins looked good for picking but they were still on the vine, so I imagine people can only pick from the pre cut ones. They had a decent selection for mini pumpkins and gourds. The mini white pumpkins had some imperfections and started at $4 so I unfortunately decided to pass on them. There are some cute photo ops, and there's an ATM on site. The corn maze is probably one of their most popular attractions but my fiancé and I decided not to do it. There's a children's playground that's extra cost, some turkeys, chickens, lambs and horses in the pens. There are some stands for corn dogs, popcorn and lemonade. Lots of parking. I think what's nice about this pumpkin patch is it's free entry and you pay for the stuff you want to participate in/buy which is nice!

Apparently, the "no refund" comment the woman said to me is not actually a thing. I came back to the pumpkin patch this year to use up one of my $25 credits. The guy working the front was super nice - my daughter technically should have been charged the over 2 rate but since she is right on the threshold in terms of age, he gave us the lower rate. For both my kids, a full hour would have cost us $28 but he just took my $25 credit and said to not worry about the difference. One of the slides was so tall it was hard for little kids to climb and slide up on. The rest of inflatables were more geared for toddlers and they were bored after 15 mins. The inflatables were not exciting or even Halloween themed. There were not pumpkins to purchase and the ones they had there were just for decorations. The poor parents just get to sit on bales of hay in the sun or fog, depending what time of the day you go. They were selling juices and snacks that were overpriced when you could just walk to Target and buy for much cheaper. The only thing that was good was the cute selection of socks for kids to buy to use on the inflatables. No one was wearing a mask and parents were just surfing the phones waiting for their children to be done. But one sign that we should have seen before going was no kid was crying to not leave. Every kid just walked out and was ready. Save your money and go to a pumpkin patch or farm with stuff and avoid this place.

To get this experience going, you'll check-in with the staff and let them know you want to do the sunflower experience. It's $20 for 6 sunflowers and they give you looper (thing used to cut the flowers), sign a waiver, and you can into the two different sunflower fields to pick which ones you like. If you want to walk the fields, without picking flowers, it's $12 per person. Once we paid, we grabbed our looper and headed out. We had the dogs with us, and they had a blast just walking around and taking in the scenery. We found the sunflowers we wanted, and headed back toward the entrance to cut and clean the ones we picked. When we were finished, they wrapped up our flowers in a bag with some water so they could make the journey back home with us. The staff here were amazing. Since it was our first time doing this, they were patient with us and explained their best tips to cut and clean. Very nice people all around!
