This also means that the menu changes seasonally and will surprise you every time you visit. The Scrambled Eggs with Lobster Cream Jelly is a must-order dish! It's a very tasty dish with all the flavors intertwined without being overpowering and with just the right mix. The roasted butternut squash was also great with macadamia nuts and miso mayo. I'm not a big fan of butternut squash, but I thought it was delicious. One thing I really like about this place is that they have a beautiful garden. You can go for a walk there after your meal and experience it.

Once inside, there is ample parking, and you'll likely be greeted on the way up to the restaurant by a friendly, vocal cat that hangs around. We enjoyed an excellent six course meal, each meal being made from locally sourced or foraged ingredients and paired with a different wine. One of the standouts for me was the sou-vide egg with pork belly and forest mushrooms. At the end, the chef introduced himself and talked about the final dessert item, garnishing it with a sprinkle of carrot seeds from the garden. It was a nice touch, and we were all very appreciative of the hard work and attention to detail that went into the food. This was a really good night! The food was excellent and the staff were welcoming and attentive, but not needy. The building has a real rustic charm to it, and my only regret was that we couldn't go out to see the outdoors as it was dark and freezing.
