From the outset, Matthew was responsive, communicative, and professional. He took the time to understand the scope, asked the right questions, and was flexible in structuring the work on a time-and-material basis with a not-to-exceed cap, which I really appreciated from a cost management standpoint. His team arrived on time each day, worked efficiently, and completed the job within the expected timeframe. Coordination was straightforward, and any on-site adjustments were handled proactively and without issue. What stood out most was how smooth and organized the entire process felt--clear communication, straightforward contract and invoicing, no surprises, and solid execution. I would definitely work with Matthew again and recommend him to others looking for a dependable electrician.

Steinberg Electric was started by the father of the current owner, Matt Steinberg. Matt took over…read morethe business after his dad's passing. In my opinion, he's doing a great job at carrying on his dad's legacy. He was such a pleasure to work with from beginning to end - I wish every tradesman could be like Matt. Great customer service - he communicated clearly, arrived on time, and was friendly and courteous throughout our interactions. His suggested approach to my project reflected my stated concerns (ie - minimizing damage to the walls) and he wasn't pushy about when/how to proceed. Deep expertise - his knowledge and experience were apparent as he walked me through the pros and cons of different options for completing the work. Trustworthy - Matt was transparent in his pricing, and provided guidance for staying in budget. I got the sense that his primary motivation was to do a good job, and to let that speak for itself. Further, on the day of the job, Matt brought an employee so the two could work together on the guy's last day. After completing the work ahead of schedule, he took the guy out for coffee, as a good boss would. In summary, Matt did a great job on the project I hired him for and also appears to be a stand-up boss. I would happily hire him to do any additional electrical work on my house in the future, and wholeheartedly recommend his work.

I was dealing with serious voltage…read morefluctuations throughout my house--lights flickering, appliances losing power, and outlets reading abnormally high or low voltage. Geoff quickly identified problems at the service connection where the utility power enters the house, repaired the loose connections and grounding issue, and carefully checked the main panel and subpanel. He walked me through everything he was testing, tightened several loose connections, and confirmed there was no heat damage. After his repairs, the voltage immediately stabilized around 121-123 volts, even with the microwave running under load. The lights stopped dimming, the stove stopped resetting, and the microwave began operating normally again. Geoff is clearly a highly experienced, old-school electrician who knows his trade inside and out. He was thorough, straightforward, and focused on fixing the actual problem. He also gave me helpful guidance about the permitting and compliance work that should be addressed next. I would absolutely recommend Williams Electric.

The electrical issue was fixed, but the behavior was incredibly inappropriate and uncomfortable. I would not recommend this company.

It's an odd thing to say, but after a bad beginning Micah proved to be exceptionally considerate. I felt very well taken care of. For my future electric needs, it's going to be Micah Electric!

I never received an estimate, and the scheduling process was incredibly frustrating. I reached out through Yelp, sent them my inspection report, then called and texted, and was eventually given a time for a phone call. That appointment came today and no showed. After I followed up by text, I was told, "10 more minutes." Well here, I'm twiddling my thumbs still after 30 minutes. I'm a patient person and understand busy schedules as I work in a service industry with emergencies, delays, and things that don't going according to plan. This, however, is just unprofessional and almost feels like they're trying to deter me away. Unfortunately, I can't recommend a business that doesn't respect its customers. Good luck.

SFE Electric Inc. handled our project beautifully, wiring and installing a four-outlet receptacle, converting a three-outlet receptacle with a switch to control the garage lights, and installing a porch light with outstanding professionalism. What truly stood out was the remarkable care they brought to every detail, especially in determining the best placement for the lights on both sides of the garages, knowing there was no going back once the work began.   Pedro approached the installation with the same thoughtfulness and precision I would have used myself--and that says a great deal. He also went above and beyond by explaining relevant building codes, helping me tailor the setup to my property, and showing me, how smart bulbs could give me phone control even though my receptacle was not smart. I am extremely particular about who I trust to work on my home, and SFE Electric Inc. exceeded all of my expectations. In short, they are the best you will find.
