We worked directly with Marisol from Nextech with a technical issue we were experiencing . She was over-the-top amazing in terms of quick responses and super helpful information that was communicated to us in a clear, concise manner. Our issue eventually was resolved. Personally, she was a pleasure to work with! As an employee on the front line of a company, you become their ambassador. Your employees are a reflection of your company. Nextech is very fortunate to employees such as Marisol. read more

I have had an exceptional experience with this company from beginning to end, which includes sourcing the correct nest for my building, pricing, installation and a recent service request. The front office people are equally as exceptional. Marisol Hernandez was responsive, professional and went out of her way to troubleshoot issues (very knowledgeable about our building). read more

I recently had Nextech come out to service my condo. They installed several smart home devices - lights, speakers, smoke detector, and a hub. Matt and Josh were not only super personable, they were also extremely professional and knowledgeable and answered any questions I had regarding the products. I was very impressed at the quality of service as well as the price! read more

I purchased Ecobee sensor on Nextech website on July 26-th. After a number of hours my transaction was cancelled under pretense that they don't ship out of state. They probably hoped to get a service call and used their sales as a lure... Wasted time and false advertisement. read more

I worked directly with Marisol from NexTech with a technical issue we were experiencing. She was absolutely phenomenal and got a technician out to diagnose and solve the issue in the same day. Highly recommend! read more

Wonderful, professional and exactly what is needed! I struggled to find a company to install 4 Ecobee4s for my very old Victorian home which has a boiler, forced Air and 2 air conditioners. It isn't a simple and most HVAC companies were very arrogant with me and have very little interest working with me to perform the install. Basically if it wasn't easy, they didn't want the job. Vince and Matt on the other hand really wanted to help and truly love home automation and understand wifi and smart home gadgets as well as HVAC. I couldn't be more than happy with the result and everything is running so well. read more

Wow, what an great company! My friend just got Google Home and I thought it was really cool so I wanted to get one for my place. I'm new to all this smart home stuff but Nextech was super patient and more than happy to explain it all to me. I ended up buying Google Home and LIFX lights and they are awesome. I can actually change the lighting in my condo just by talking! They helped me with the setup and everything works perfectly and is really easy to use. I would definitely come back to Nextech, their customer service was outstanding and the whole process went very smoothly and was less expensive than I thought it would be! read more

Matt was excellent. I've been working with him for several years. I sent him a note one evening late and he responded next morning early to schedule an appointment that same morning. He arrived ASAP and found that it was simply a blown fuse vs. Nest issue. He Is very honest and offers professional advice. They're partnered with AirRite so always on call in case there were HVAC issues that are separate from Nest troubleshooting. read more

This company is extremely professional and we had a great experience with them when they installed two nest thermostat systems in our fan coil apartment unit. Easy to set up an appointment, on time technicians, straightforward demo on how to operate. Would definitely recommend! read more

We had Nextech install some cameras, a nest thermostat and CO/Smoke detector as well as some smart lighting after unsuccessfully trying to figure out how to install the thermostat on our own (Worst Idea ever with the wiring to even try!) They made really great recommendations, pricing, service and were very friendly and professional. read more

My experience with Nextech made me want to shout from the rooftop that everyone should do business with them. Seriously, this was a level of service that very, very few companies provide anymore. I had installed two Nests myself, but I wanted to integrate my whole-home humidifier which I couldn't do on my own. I requested quotes from three Pros on Nest.com; Matt from Nextech responded first and gave a simple and very reasonable quote; another responded days later but wouldn't provide a quote by email, and one didn't respond at all. The choice was obvious. It only got better. Matt showed up precisely on time, was professional, polite, clean, and most importantly knew his stuff. He figured out the ancient mess of wires and gear in my condo HVAC room, got everything installed and working, explained everything I needed to know plus a couple of bonus tips unrelated to the humidifier, happily addressed a follow-up issue by phone, and then sent a follow-up email to be sure everything was in ship shape. Really outstanding experience. I would give these guys 10 stars if I could. read more

The service from beginning to installation was great! With the initial call of asking questions on what product would be the best for our Condo it was informative and complete. Once that part was complete and ordered, the scheduling of installation was effortless and earlier than anticipated. On the day of installation, the technician was on time, courteous and efficient. He was helpful and walked me through explaining how to use our new product and helped with the down load of the app that is used to operate it. Very satisfied and I would highly recommend them! read more

Let me start by saying this: I'm a pretty tech savvy guy but even then, I prefer keeping certain things old fashioned such as my home. Or so I thought. As a member of our condo board, I attended a condo expo here in Chicago and stopped by Nextech's booth. I spent about 30 minutes talking to one of their guys and after addressing some of my concerns, he sold me on turning my home into a "smart home". One month later, I have a Nest thermostat, Google Home, 3 Nest Protects (smoke and carbon monoxide detectors), an outdoor Nest security camera, and 3 LIFX bulbs in my kitchen. These guys came over, installed everything, and taught me how to use everything in a way to bring down my energy use and spending. Plus, my condo now looks pretty cool with all these high-tech gadgets haha. By the way, if I'm being honest here, as great as these guys were, I wasn't planning on writing them a review but last night, my Nest thermostat stopped working and was giving me an error on the display. I called Nextech and they walked me through some basic troubleshooting but unfortunately my thermostat still wasn't working. Here's the thing though....much to my surprise, the guy I was on the phone with was at my front door 20 minutes later to fix it. He figured out what happened and fixed it within 15 minutes. Now keep in mind that yesterday (12/26/16) was an observed Holiday and it was 7:30pm. Very impressed with the level of service these guys provided. How can I not write a review for them after that??? So to sum up....I highly recommend Nextech Energy. Thanks to their expertise, I can monitor my home, control my kitchen lights, adjust the temperature, feel safe, and have my questions answered conveniently with my voice or my smartphone! =) read more

Nextech Energy did an amazing job! I live in a condo building with fan coils and high line voltage running to thermostat and this makes for a very difficult installation. Nextech's knowledge and experience with this type of installation made it a no brainer. I highly recommend for condo unit residents! read more

So glad I found Nextech. I have been wanting a smart thermostat to replace the dinosaur we were using in our Lincoln Park townhome for about a year, just never knew who to call. So after a quick yelp search I found Nextech and read thru their reviews. There is a reason they are all 5 stars, these guys are great. They responded to my first message within a couple of hours and i had a quote later that day. Less than a week later we had an appt for installation. Matt installed 2 ecobee4 units and connected them to my humidifiers as well. He walked me thru the programming of the smart thermostats and answered all of my questions. While he was working on the furnace there was a question about a potential gas leak. He had someone out to our place to do a full assessment within an hour. For a mom of newborn twins and a toddler this was Amazing and super comforting. Luckily no gas leak, just a Busch League setup in my furnace room which they helped me cleanup. Matt followed up with an email a week later to make sure all was working well. For sure 5 stars for Nextech, would call them again without a doubt. read more

Service was absolutely impeccable. On time, courteous, exceptional in terms of answering questions and making sure that everything was working above and beyond. I've had several people come to our house and done mediocre jobs but this exceeded expectations. Would absolutely recommend these folks (especially Matt) and will be sure to use them again as we continue to expand our technology! read more

After a few months of suffering a powersharing issue between my Nest and my A/C fan, I finally resorted to calling Nest support. I got a quote from Matthew from Nextech and he stopped by to fix the problem after we discussed the problem in more detail. Matthew was professional, friendly and diligent with his work. Can't put details on what exactly he did to fix it (not really good at retaining the details) he explained what the fix was, made sure that the nest was working properly, checked a couple of things with my A/C system, provided good advice of some of the measures I should take to prepare of winter! Since the fix has been in place I have a had great night sleep, now that the crazy noises from A/C unit are no more! read more

These guys provided some of the best customer service I've experienced in a long time! They kindly helped me understand which thermostat would work for my unit. In a matter of minutes my order was placed. When the installers came a few days later they were friendly, on time, and did a thorough set up of my device. My questions were answered and I was given succinct and relevant training. No hassles, attitude or mediocrity. Thanks again guys! read more

Had Nextech install 4 Nest security cameras around my house as well as set up a new WiFi to handle the cameras. Came multiple times to scan the property for best location, set up the cameras and internet, and provided assistance in settings and usability. Very helpful and would recommend to neighbors! Even looked over my Nest thermostat to make sure it had all the best settings before they left. Thanks again! read more

I wanted a Smart Thermostat (EcoBee3/Nest) installed for my fan coil HVAC unit. I called so many HVAC companies, most said they could get the job done, but once they saw my unit they declined. I even called EcoBee for support and they said it couldn't be done. They were all wrong! After reaching out to Vince and Matt at Nextech, they were able to quickly assess the situation a provide a quote. They got the job done in no time at all and everything worked great! I highly recommend these guys. They know what they're doing! read more

Josh did a great job, installed everything quickly, was friendly, and walked me through how to use everything on the app. Highly recommend.

Nextech was referred to us by a neighbor, and we were very grateful! We had been wanting to install Nest Thermostats in our home for two years, but we were told by our building engineer, other heating & cooling professionals, and the Nest web site that it was not possible because our unit has a three-speed blower fan (the Nest site says only two-speed fans are compatible). However, Nextech WAS able to install the Nest thermostats and we DO have access to three speeds on our fan blower. That's because Nextech Energy was informed on the latest capabilities of the Nest thermostat and software (even when the Nest website was not updated to reflect these updates). Nextech was professional, courteous, on time, and helpful in educating us on the capabilities of our Nest thermostats. Our two thermostats were installed (along with a thorough training on the Nest system) all in approximately 90 minutes. It's rare to experience this high level of professionalism, knowledge, and service today. And the price was very fair. Highest recommendation! read more

Great experience with this team. I did cameras, thermostats, smoke detectors throughout the house and could not be happier. They did an excellent and clean work. Vince stopped by my house before and after completion of work to check if everything works. He even followed up with me over the phone few weeks after. read more

So very happy with my new Ecobee's! I live in a building that was built in 2005. The thermostats were horrible! I am so happy now to live in a unit that is in this century. I can talk to my Ecobee and ask it questions and operate the thermostats from my phone. Matt at Nextech Energy did a great job of explaining the Ecobee's and helped me decide which ones I needed where (I have a large condo and needed five.) and where to place the sensors. I felt the price was fair and they even handled the rebates from ComEd! The installation was a snap and I really feel I've just added to the value of my condo. read more

100% positive experience from the moment I called. Vince went above and beyond to work with me and get an ecobee 4 installer to my home quickly and at a reasonable cost. Israel, our tech, was professional, smart, friendly, and explained everything in a way that made it easy to understand. He took care of everything from some unexpected but necessary rewiring from our furnace to setting up Alexa, and even gave me many energy saving tips along the way. I highly recommend these guys. You can tell they love what they do and really care about their customers. read more

This company is great! We had them out to reinstall two Nest thermostats. Matt arrived promptly and was very friendly. He was very knowledgeable on assessing and fixing previous installation issues and was extremely thorough in making sure everything was working properly before he left. After installation, he took me through everything I need to know to use the Nest thermostat, including showing me features on the App I didn't know about. I would highly recommend Nextech, and Matt, to anyone who is thinking of installing a smart thermostat. Wonderful customer service for a reasonable price! read more
