He also seemed to care about not tracking mud around the home while he was doing the work. When I got our regular plumbers in here, they mostly confirmed what he'd told me. The only reason this is not a five-star review is because I had to reach out to them twice to get a copy of the bill and because our regular plumbers told me there *is* in fact a way to install a backup to the ejector pump. But overall, grateful to have reached these guys in an emergency.

Once the issue would have been found, it would have been even more expensive. I was told the existing cleanout in the overhead in my basement could not be used. I received quotes from various other plumbing companies who were nowhere near that cost for ONLY an assessment of the problem. The plumber I went with had no problem using my existing fixtures to assess the problem, with an overall cost of the ENTIRE repair being less than the one item I was quoted with Intelligent. Overall I felt extremely disrespected and being taken advantage of. I will never work with this company again and I do not recommend them to anyone.

Also, there is water leaking threw the concrete of the basement. The estimate only included the cost of the sewer pipe. It did not include the costs of replacing the old plumbing and sealing the inside of the basement. I received two other estimates, which included the costs of replacing the old plumbing inside the basement and sealing the cement. Both of the other estimates were more than $4,000 less than Bishops.

A few years ago, when ours unexpectedly went out, they were like a SWAT team. They arrived quickly, cleaned everything up, and had a new water heater installed in no time. This morning, I took a very cold shower, which was not how I wanted to start my day. We discovered the pilot light had gone out. My husband tried resetting it without success, so he called them. They asked him to send a few pictures, immediately diagnosed the issue, and texted him a short video showing exactly how to reset it. A few minutes later, we had hot water again. That's what great companies do. They're prepared, they know their craft inside and out, and they make solving problems look easy. If you need a water heater, I honestly wouldn't call anyone else. Then he got to work. By the time I fed the dog and checked the mail, Alex was finished! It took maybe 20 minutes - max! I paid via Zelle. Alex provided me with a 30-day warranty receipt. And boom! EGV Sewer was even doing more work i.e. replacing the concrete sidewalk. Anyway, we had an issue last weekend as we were waiting for the work to be done. EGV Sewer again came out and quickly fixed our issue to give us piece of mind until the work was done. They came out on 7/8/26 and did the repair, we did have an surprise where we needed more work done; however, it was still overall 2k less than the other company. Overall, I cannot say enough good things about this company. Great pricing, customer service, and quality work. Thank you Armando and team for fixing our issue.
