We've used this company for prior jobs at our commercial building, including a water heater and…read moretoilet repair, and those experiences went well. On this most recent plumbing repair, however, communication and follow-up fell short. The following week after the repair, a staff member noticed the kitchen sink near the repair area had very low water pressure. Since our office has limited in-person use, I followed up the next week once I was able to review the issue. I also had not received the invoice, even though my business card was provided onsite. When I spoke with the owner, the invoice was sent that evening, and I was told they would call the following week to schedule a time to look at the pressure issue. That follow-up call never happened. I later called and sent a detailed text with my availability to meet onsite, but received no response. Due to the lack of follow-up, we are moving forward with another plumber to assess and resolve the issue. In a commercial setting, timely communication and reliability are critical, and unfortunately this experience did not meet that expectation.

The latest project I had for him was redesign my dryer vent as the duct was cracked at the opening near the outlet. He made sure the pipes slope in the right incline to ensure the flapper is open when air flows out and remain close otherwise so pests would be kept out. I got most of the parts ready for the project and he was able to make use of them to the fullest even though not all was ideal: e. g. no elbows, need straps to secure pipe to wood and a 4 ft vent duct instead of the standard 8 ft that would be stronger. He was able to grime the pipe edges for better connections with his tool. We saw very good air flow after all was finished.

We have found a plumber we can trust and who responds in the most professional manner!…read more Derral Yee responded to our desperate plea for help immediately after we detected a SECOND leak in our home. He carefully explained that due to the age of our home and the poor quality of our copper pipes, a repipe would eliminate the worry of future probable leaks. Derral also gave us a cost estimate for a repipe and explained the leaky pipes could be repaired at a much lower price. Not wanting to deal with the doom of another impending leak, we chose to repipe using a combination of PEX and high-quality copper pipes. Derral's team showed up on time and the repiping was completed in LESS than SIX HOURS! This time frame included repairing all holes in walls and clean up! It is amazing how we take running tap water for granted, but we will never take Derral Yee and his team for granted. Derral was the utmost professional who was in constant contact with us by keeping us informed about scheduling. He always sent us his projected ETA, and he always showed up on time. His projected estimate was exactly what he said it would be to the penny. He required a 10% deposit and payment in full upon completion and satisfaction of the project. We highly recommend GK Plumbing! Derral Yee is definitely our go to plumber from now on!

They came when they said they would, the plumber was friendly, came up with a creative solution to an issue with our toilet, and the bill was lower than I thought it would be. We had a toilet tank that stopped filling late on a Sunday night and I actually called another 24/7 plumbing business based in Glendale first, and the other company's answering service took my contact info and said they'd call us back then come out early in the morning but I never heard from them again. David's Plumbing was my backup and they provided the option to send someone out in the middle of the night, but my toilet tank was refilling slowly so I scheduled service for 10am-12 the next morning. The plumber contacted us when he was on the way then showed up after 10am. Our toilet doesn't have a common refill valve and he was able to fit another valve to the tank and get it working again. It's actually flushing and refilling faster than it ever has. We'll probably reach out to this company for an installation when we replace the toilet.
