AK did an incredible job with my husband and I!! So quick with all of our documents and was extremely professional and through! This is by far the worst company to work with in San Diego. If you are looking for no communication along with terrible customer service go with Akshay. read more

AK is amazing! I was referred to him by Anthony Booker/Lauren Quach out of Oakland, CA, and he was an absolute pleasure to deal with. I initially consulted with him a few months before purchase with purely for research, and he was willing to take the time to discuss the lending process, rates, and had really good, non-biased advice for our situation as well. Later in the process, after finding a property, AK and his colleague, Tim, were there every step of the way to answer questions, give updated rates, run numbers, different scenarios, etc. When looking at he numbers independently, AK's rates, fees, and other costs were either competitive, or lower than almost everyone that we shopped. Ultimately, a local bank came through with a screaming deal on the rate that no one could beat, and, we're it not for that, we'd have signed with AK. In conclusion, you will not find a better combination of knowledge, great rates, and friendliness throughout the process than working with AK. In fact, when I refi, he'll be my very first call--he's that good. read more

Next Level Lender - Our New Home - Mortgage Brokers Near Me

I've been in a couple escrows before and they fell out; where other lenders fail, Akshay, Shyam and their team excel. Not only explaining things in detail and answering phone calls at a moments notice, but even helping me through moments of financial anxiety. They are experts at what they do and were constantly keeping me and the loan ahead of schedule. You can absolutely tell that Akshay genuinely cares about his buyers, and was constantly looking out for my best interests. He wasn't afraid to tell me no when I needed to hear it and encouraging me when I was being hesistant. You cannot find nor PAY for this type of quality care from other lenders. If you're on the fence of buying, talk to these guys - they'll shoot straight and then guide you through to it. This is my lending team for life. read more

We finally did it. I say we not because of Kevin and I's journey on buying a house but find THE home together with the people that had made the experience better than any other. I say this for a fact that there were many doubts in our mind financially if we could culminate enough for the standards we wanted to achieve in buying a home. It was made possible by EZ lending (the people who work behind the company's name namely Shyam, Andrew and AK). From the beginning, they were very quick. Preapproval took no more than 2-3 days. We were promptly notified for every thing we needed to submit. They were accommodating of our schedules and even go as far as setting up a call to explain the process. Even after months had past (as we purchased a new build), they did not forget to check in on us. They continued to ask us if there were any changes and how the process would continue. Up until the end of escrow they took the time to figure out the best way we can have the best outcome upon closing. If there is anything else I can write in the world, it'd be to honestly give them the sincerest thank you and would 1000000% recommend them to anyone. read more

AK and his team made my home buying process a breeze. This purchase was for my first home and needless to say I was clueless for many aspects of the process. AK was extremely patient in explaining all of the details and literally teaching me the process. He is experienced, professional, and personal. Not only did I obtain a house, but I feel like I gained a friend. I will recommend AK to all of my friends and I cannot thank him enough for how smooth he made the process. read more

I recently had a follow up question several months after my loan had closed regarding my escrow account. I reached out to AK and his team for help. Within minutes AK called me personally to answer my question and get me the answers I needed to pay my property taxes. Now that is great service! Thanks again AK. read more

We were referred to Next Level Lender by our realtor, Charles Velasco, out of Sacramento, CA. As a first time home buyer, going through the home buying process was nerve wrecking. Not knowing what to expect was frightening. My girlfriend and I had so many questions! When Shyam first reached out, he told us what to expect. He took the time to explain the process in detail, and also made sure we completely understood what was about to happen. From the pre approval process to closing escrow, Shyam and his team was there every step of the way! Whenever we had a question, all we had to do was pick up the phone and call Shyam and he would answer our questions. We truly felt like we were dealing with a longtime friend. Whether it was 630 in the morning, or 930 at night, he always made himself available to make sure we were comfortable at all times. Now obviously everyone's home buying experience is different. So many different situations and scenarios that everyone has. We told Shyam exactly what we were looking for in not just our realtor/lender, but the home itself. We threw many different options at him and Shyam made sure that whatever it was, it was in OUR best interest. There is one thing in particular that stands out to me as it was the most difficult for us... (so we thought) the down payment for the home and where we were going to get the funds. As I mentioned earlier, this was a completely new experience for us and we didn't know what to expect. Shyam went above and beyond to call Fidelity with me to make sure I wasn't going to make a financial decision that we would regret later. Fast forward a bit, we closed escrow in 12 days. 12 days! It's been a few weeks now and now that we're finally moved in, we still get texts from the Next Level Lender team making sure we're doing ok and letting us know that they'll always be there for us, which we appreciate so much! It feels amazing knowing that we have that support before, during and after the home buying process! We are forever grateful for Shyam and the entire Next Level Lender team! Would I recommend them to my family and friends? Yes! 1000 times over and over again! We are looking forward to working with them in the future. They are honest, trustworthy, transparent and very very hardworking. Thank you so much for changing our lives forever and getting us into our dream home! read more

Akshay and team are simply the best. My partner and I were referred to him when we had a really tough transaction and had already tried multiple lenders. We call him Captain Save a Deal because he came through when other lenders could not. We now work with him on a more consistent basis, and couldn't be happier with the level of service. Quick, clear communication and transparency make our job easier and more importantly, our clients feel at ease. Whether you're looking to buy personally or are an agent (or both!), you need to get in touch with him. Doesn't hurt that he's just a cool person in general. Thanks family. Appreciate you! read more

Akshay and the team are truly masters of this business! The combination of their vast knowledge, prompt responses, and interpersonal skills made the whole process actually enjoyable. Being a first-time homebuyer can be overwhelming, but they are very patient and take the time to effectively explain any questions or concerns I had. Akshay and his team are the absolute best! My wife and I just purchased our first home and from the very beginning Akshay and his team went above and beyond to make our home loan a painless process. From our very first phone call with Akshay he made his commitment to his clients obvious--we called him without an appointment and he spent 45 minutes speaking with us, answering every question we had in detail. We knew immediately that we wanted to work with him and his team! Throughout the process they were always just a phone call, email, or text away and they always responded incredibly fast. It was a remarkable experience working with them and we would choose them again in a heartbeat. Needless to say we wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone. I was working with another lender prior, however I felt neglected and was not approved for what I wanted nor explained what I can do to get approved for the amount that I wanted to get approved for. I did my research and found next level lender and wow they exceeded my expectations. We were approved for what we wanted and shortly after he recommend an amazing team of realtors and helped us find an amazing home (closed in 14 days!!) that we are beyond grateful! So I've always heard of people refinancing and what's the easiest way to do it, never pictured myself going through the process solely due to the fact that I was always so confused. I can honestly say that the Next Level Lender team made it simple. Hands down Shyam and Andrew made this entire process a breeze and effortless! Very personable and very polite! Anytime I had a question about something they had an answer right away! Have been recommending them to everyone talking about home refinancing just so they can see how easy it really can be . We just closed on a house and it wouldn't have been possible without the help of Akshay and his team. He gave us the highest pre approved amount and the lowest interest rate among other lenders. The process of home buying can be stressful but he was able to answer all of our questions and he was pretty confident of getting us the house we want. Thank you akshay and team. read more

As a 17 year active duty member and a second time home buyer, I fully endorse Akshay Patel for your lending needs. Not only did this man tell me 2 years ago, "Honestly, now is not the right time for you and your family financially" (and he was 100% correct), but when the time was right, he went above and beyond to get us into the house we knew we wanted. Akshay dedicated much time in breaking down EVERY option and explaining the pros and cons of each. Though I know better, he made every question seem as if it were important (though some were dumb or repetitive) because if it was important to you, it was important to him. I know that with out Akshay's knowledge, guidance and his personal drive, our family would not be in our forever home today. I have the upmost respect for him personally and we owe him a great deal of gratitude. read more

It is my pleasure to write this review. It was a great experience working with Akshay, Shyam and the rest of the team. I was originally working with a more traditional lender - the mortgage arm of a financial institution where I do my other banking. In the competitive San Diego housing market, my previous lender's inability to close escrow in less than 30 days was a detriment to the competitiveness of my offers. Akshay and his team were efficient and effective: the pre-approval and approval processes was fast, and they were able to close escrow within two weeks of my offer being accepted. The rates and closing costs the organization offered were very good. In addition, the team was incredibly responsive - even getting back to me if I had questions or to keep the process moving over nights, weekends, early mornings, and even over bank holidays when the chances to catch a banker are typically slim to none! Highly recommend working with this team to originate a home mortgage. read more

Akshay did an awesome job with everything and helped me out every step of the way. He always kept me informed and went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable with this very stressful process. He is always available at any time of the day and is able to eloquently explain everything for someone who didn't know a lot of what was going on. Will definitely be using him again for any of my lending needs! read more

Akshay took great care of me in my first home buying experience. I had a ton of questions and worries and he took the time to explain everything to me and calm my fears. I could reach him at all times of the day (and night!). He was more knowledgeable than other brokers I worked with. The one negative was that we ran into a few issues right at closing that were out of his control. We closed late and I had to resign all the closing documents. I still recommend Akshay as he has still been very helpful after closing and connected me with a great insurance broker. read more

If I could give 100 stars I would Ak and his team: Shyam, Jay, and Andrew are absolute ROCKSTARS! We had a tricky escrow and they were able to get everything in line for us to go through our transaction not only peacefully, but timely. I have known this crew for quite some time, not only are they incredible at their job but their light hearted personalities make it so much better. My husband and I felt very secure, any questions we may have had were answered within minutes! As a fellow industry professional, it's hard to choose who would handle your personal deal but I knew they were the perfect choice, and I was right. Shyam was our go to person during our transaction, answering every question or concern with a positive attitude and great knowledge. They even put us all in a group chat for even better communication between all of us, giving updates late into the night to let us know exactly what was going on. Not only were we provided an amazing rate right off the bat but they were able to get us even LOWER than we expected!! They thoroughly explained all needed documents, statements, and items to get it done as quick as possible for us (we were able to skip a payment due to their wonderful strategy with closing). Ak and his team are absolutely the right choice with great rates and keeping promises! Choose them! read more

Akshay broke down all the variables of our loan and was there every step of the way during the confusing process of being a first time home owner. When the builders were taking their sweet time, Akshay was calling them to see what can be done to expedite the process. My wife and I have work schedules that makes it hard for us to sit down and talk, so phone/facetime was key for us. Our first lender who we dropped only cared about selling the loan and not what exactly we could afford. Thank you Akshay keep up the good work!!! (loan closed in July) read more

Honestly couldn't ask for a better lender, through the whole process any question I had was just a phone call or text away (didn't have to reach them through a 800 number). During the time I was looking for a property the market was very competitive where I live, and they were able to close with a VA loan in under 30 days. The interest rate they offered was also the best I found and I was quoted from two other lenders. The realtors they work with are nothing but top notch from may experience as well. I am a first time home buyer and everything was broken down for me and they were very helpful in making sure I understand everything throughout the process but also while getting everything done in a timely manner in a crazy market. I was legitimately amazed with the quality of service and I highly recommend next level lending! read more

Akshay handled the approval and funding for the mortgage on our first home. He was always very responsive to our questions and requests and worked hard to secure a low interest rate. I knew my situation was special and I just wanted the facts, order and timing to be black and white through the process to buy my dream home. The timing and order unfolded as timely. He was patient with me as we encountered a few problems however, he was aggressive with his negotiations on my behalf. Between Akshay and his entire team, no detail was overlooked and we were able to close the deal! He was amazing to work with. read more

I had gone through the loan process once before with my credit union and the experience with Akshay in comparison was as different as night and day. With my credit union, I was passed around from one individual to another without explanation. The process felt very impersonal and transactional. Every time I had a question or sought clarity on an issue, I was treated as if I was asking for a huge favor from then. With Akshay, I felt like I had an ally through the homebuying process. He was happy to talk through every option or scenario I brought up and also made himself available over email, phone, and text seemingly at all hours of the day. We were able to get an approval letter within a day (a few hours actually) of submitting an application and having an initial phone call. He was also able to help us reduce the escrow period from 30 days to 24 days, which made our offer more competitive and also helped us move into our new home faster. I'm very happy to have worked with Akshay and would recommend him to anyone. read more
