It's like he had a fire lit under his butt and needed to move move move. We really appreciated that. He pushed us to get things turned around quickly, and he pushed everyone else involved in our transaction (especially the escrow company, which was having issues). On his own initiative he contacted the relevant parties (e.g., the escrow company, our financial advisor, our insurance agent) when things were unclear or when they needed to be pushed. And we were able to make our closing date with days to spare, with a solid mortgage at a very competitive interest rate. Dave took the time to explain the complexities and walk us through things, while also pushing things along and sending us reminders when we were forgetful. One thing I especially appreciated is that he acted as our advocate and gave us advice, rather than being tight-lipped and trying to cover his own butt.
