I reached out to Next IT, because Lenovo was not doing their job in assessing and fixing damages that their licensed IT techs caused while replacing my battery under warranty. To be brief-- it's been a time suck and a nightmare dealing with Lenovo case management, who still have not contacted me with a "solution" to the problem. A problem that has now since been fixed thanks to Matt at Next IT!! Due to an unfortunate chain of events that started with the 1st Lenovo tech breaking my case, trim, and exterior of the optical drive by force opening the case to replace my battery and the 2nd Lenovo tech replacing the damaged case etc. only to improperly put back the wire connection to my screen... (sigh) my laptop screen flickered, changed colors, and hues on a regular basis. In a last effort to get this issue diagnosed and fixed, because I have a dissertation to write, I brought my device into Next IT. It was the Labor Day holiday weekend, so Matt was the only one there holding down the fort. I admit I was somewhat apprehensive, because the co-owner who I spoke with, Justin, wasn't there, but Matt had a good vibe and articulated his knowledge of all things computers well, so I decided to go ahead anyway. BEST DECISION. In a few hours Matt located the problem, corrected the mistake made by the Lenovo Techs, checked the copper core of the wire, and spotted [more] cosmetic damage caused by Lenovo's techs. He only charged me for labor, because nothing was replaced and he made sure I received the full amount of available discounts offered by the company and on Groupon. I only spent $35!! It's safe to say that Matt can certainly be trusted to hold down the fort when the owners are away. Thanks, Matt! Per another reviewer, he wasn't awkward at all. In fact, conversation was very enjoyable and customer service was excellent! Thank you Next IT Solutions & Computer Repair! "Solutions" and "Repair" being the operative words here. Furthermore, they have major discounts available! I hope they keep this feature of their business as their success grows. I've already recommended this place to my friends and colleagues. Thanks again. read more

I haven't been to many computer repair shops, but I have been to just a few in the Covina area, where sometimes they can help out and sometimes they can't. Many times it's the latter, but not trying to throw anyone under the bus, I do want to mention how Next IT Solutions stood out of the crowd of computer repair places. They didn't make excuses like the other Covina shops, telling me just wait for someone or some company to develop a patch to fix it, they had an open mind, examined the situation, explained everything upfront and gave a realistic timeline of when it could be fixed. Don't bother going any place else, Next IT Solutions is king in customer service, communication, technical skill and all around professionalism. As a customer it really made me feel comfortable recommending them to all others, and from being a tech in the Army, Next IT Solutions is the place I will always go to, when myself a tech person needs professional tech assistance. Price was right and they had my custom made system back up and running very quickly. I trusted them the moment I walked in the door because from a prior conversation on the phone they knew of the Windows Creator's update that caused so many people grief. Highly recommend these guys, very good to talk to, friendly, understanding and knowledgeable too. read more

Had a problem with my computer not booting (or receiving any power at all). Sent it to them and they kept me in the loop as to what was happening and how the process was going. They fixed it and sent it back. I plugged it in and it still didn't work. I was somewhat frustrated at this point but Josiah personally drove the half hour out to my house (in the pouring rain no less) to inspect it and, when he saw it didn't work, took it back to the store and had his head tech return it the next day. Extremely courteous and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend!! read more

I will always take my computer repair's to them. Their service is A plus and more! Great job Next IT. Your the best! I brought my custom PC for repair here and the service I received here was amazing. Josiah was professional and courteous and really helped me troubleshoot the issue step by step and explained the process. I am really impressed and satisfied by the service I received at the shop. Thank you guys! and keep up the good work. read more

I give them more than 5 stars. The price is comparable with all the other repair shops, but better. Fast, friendly, my kind of shop. Took my Gateway in one day and got it back the next just like it is brand new. They would call me first before they replaced a part to get my permission, showed me the part when I came to get it, to prove I wasn't being scammed. I will take all of my computer repairs to them I trust them 100% plus they are open on Monday, not many shops are that's why I chose them in the first place, and am so glad I did. I emailed them with a "Stupid girl" question, not related to a computer repair and they told me exactly what to do to fix it, they stayed right with me until I did. They don't treat women like airheads and try to get away with anything they can, they are people pleasers and the shop is so clean you could eat off the floors. It is very easy to find, right across from Costco. They know their work. The cost not bad, compared to what I had done, I was expecting more. Great Place. I am one happy customer. Next IT was recommended to me by a good friend who has had many hard drives repaired by them. My hard drive fell off of my coffee table and stopped working, so I took it in. Justin was extremely kind and professional, and called back with a diagnosis the next morning. Unfortunately, my hard drive needed to be sent to a clean room, which was pricey and I wasn't ready to pay for at the time. They never pressured me and were happy to return my hard drive to me without me paying a penny. I'll definitely be returning with any future data loss problems. read more

They were very helpful and transparent about retrieving the information off of my hard drive.

These guys are the best. They always stay in touch with you to keep you updated on your computer. I had a desktop problem and other places said it was my motherboard that didn't work and it would cost me $800. These guys told me it was simply the graphics card that was only $85. I appreciate the honesty they gave me! read more

Big shout out to Justin and Bart also the NEXT IT crew!! I came in to do a data recovery on my hard drive , which I knew that it wasn't going to be easy to recover do to major damage but these guys were able to get the job done! They were there from point A to point B, keeping me updated day by day in what was going on! Very professional and by far best customer service experience I've had yet!! I highly recommend these guys for any computer services needed. read more

I thought taking my computer to geek squad would fix it, but then again I'm no tech wizard, and I was wrong.... My good friend told me about these guys, who were better priced and came to me! Computer works better than ever! Ask for Matt, he's my go to! read more

Great service. I was in and out both trips under 10 minutes. Perfect job on computer. No problems whatsoever. Thank you!

Absolutely fantastic service and perfectly professional. They do free diagnostics so I brought in my computer that was blue screening. They found the problem but since they didn't really have to do anything there was no charge. I bought them a pizza instead read more

I'm in the IT business, 20 years with IBM and now running my own networking business. I just don't have the time to troubleshoot my own PC's at home. I have to be Customer oriented, and I'm very particular of others service. It just doesn't get any better than Ryan and the guys at Larson Computers. Competent, professional, with a good "bedside manner", and they truly care about helping you. Don't hesitate, just go there if you need help with your PC's. read more

This is the second time I have had my pc repaired and reset. I took it in before closing one day and two days later got a call telling me what they found and what they recommend I allow them to do. Previously, I had taken my pc's to best buy and it was always a couple weeks before they even contacted me, ridiculous waiting time, service and cost Not so at Next IT. They run the shop responsibly, taking notes on all the problems you have, efficiently, calling with the initial diagnosis and any up dates. My pc was done in a few days, at less than quoted, everything seems to be working great and they set it up with their lay out(the way they have theirs set up) and I am very happy with the work they did and the price I paid. I would highly suggest them to anyone who's looking to get any service. read more

I am not a person that knows computers, went on Yelp read reviews, called and went in. They were extremely polite, Honest, and great with communications. They gave me lead times, and costs estimates up front, and came in sooner and lower than previously quoted. I appreciated the level of customer service and will use them again for all my computer needs. All great people ! read more

Next IT did a great job with my laptop. The LCD screen went bad so all I had was a black screen. It took awhile because the part took longer to get than expected but as soon the part arrived at the shop, my laptop was fixed. I have never replaced an LCD screen so I don't know if the price I paid was reasonable. read more

The people here are so helpful and quick! I took in my MacBook for a data recovery and I took my iPhone to get a diagnostic on it! Pretty fair prices and they're efficient, they keep you updated! All the staff are great! read more

I had a awesome experience with these guys. I walk in on a early Monday morning to turn in a computer for a clean up along with a free diagnose. They were professional and friendly in answering my questions concerning the whole process. Each day leading to Friday, the day I picked up my computer, they updated on the status and was fast in answering questions through text. They are very reliable and their service is top notch. read more

These guys were able to recover my music, replace my hard drive and got my mac book running smoothly Thanks again for the help...

Great service and response time! Very pleased thus far!

If I could give them more stars, I would! These guys run a tight ship!! Starts with free diagnostics, even if you don't approve their suggested repairs. I had a dead fish in the water, the dreaded blue screen. All our companies billing, job related data, profit sharing and HR records...about to be lost inside this black box. Bart greeted me and explained what would be happening next. I was assigned a ticket # and off I went. Next day I stopped by to see how the testing was going(they were expected to call me with results but I was antsy, typical pain in the "keester" customer) didn't have my ticket # handy and my memory gave the wrong #...but Tim couldn't of been more happy to help me. All the guys there are very professional and very polite and HONEST. No wonder they have been in business for more than a second. Excellent customer service is a deal breaker for me. One small communication problem, but the way it was handled and presented to me made this problem become a solution and I have absolutely no doubt in my mind I will hire them ANY time I have the need - sorry guys but I do hope that isn't too often! I inquired about contract IT services...get this deal...175.00/hr if you don't hire them on a retainer, he quoted me a price to hire them on a retainer but not necessary for my needs, OR pre-buy 10 hours of tech support for 100.00 and the hours NEVER expire! SOLD! Thanks for making my life go on right where it left off. No surprises, no outrageous charges. What I paid was more than acceptable for the start up recovery, and you can't put a price tag on superior customer service. There are still good honest people in this world! read more

I needed some thermal compound for a repair job I was doing on my son's PS3. I didn't know where to buy it so I called Next IT. They told me they had some in the store that I could come by and pick up. When I arrived they gave it to me for free. They were professional, gracious and happy to help a dad fix his son's favorite toy. Much appreiated. read more

Response time was great...the services were not. First of all, I had problems as soon as I turned on the PC he built me. Turns out he didn't apply the thermal paste to the heat sink correctly...or at all! How could a "professional" miss such a vital and obvious part of the build process? Then he charged me more to remove a bogus virus when the problem was the heat sink all along. I could have built the damned thing myself for way less grief! Buyer beware! read more

I've gone to school with Ryan and have been coming to his shop ever since it has opened! He has been very trustworthy and reliable with my computer and I know when I have a problem I can come straight to him and he will be there! read more

These guys are the best! In a world of shady computer technicians and with the fear of being gouged, these guys stand out as clear winners. They are devoted to fixing your computer and they act on it promptly - never a "I'll get to it sometime soon" attitude. Support these guys! We need independent hardworking techs that we can trust. read more

From the initial phone call to the finished work, we have been extremely satisfied with the work that Tim and Jason provided to us in such a shortly notice. Tim was very pleasant to talk to the minute we got on the phone with him. Not knowing any of the proper technical terms of what was needed to be done, he made sure to give us the time to relay the issue and was confident and knowledgeable enough to access the situation. Both gentlemen were at the office on time and were ready to get to work. They explained what was done and why without hesitation. They made sure to vacuum the areas they had worked around. Bottom line here, we will DEFINITELY be using NEXT IT for any future services! Thanks guys! read more
