I fixed my PC myself by googling the error code, running a couple tests, then replacing my RAM. Sean called and texted me about 5 times and asked if I wanted a refund after I left a bad review. When I contacted him to get the refund, even offering to change or delete my bad review because I just wanted my money back, he refused. I spent $285 at OC Computers for my computer to still crash. 2 new 16G sticks of RAM only costed me $80. I called Sean to diagnose my HP after it would get a blue screen and crash. He was quick to reply, get my computer and get his team on it. It it kept crashing over 2 weeks and his team couldn't figure it out. We were all frustrated. He was eager to figure it out and worked tirelessly (even calling at off hours) to figure it out, and took excellent care to make sure my data and IP were recovered and clean, but surprised me with charges like extra hours and finally my hard drive (which was the final solution after 2 weeks). It's now fixed and I'm so grateful for how dedicated he was to fixing it (even coming to my home when I couldn't get away). In terms of a person to work with who is dedicated to his work and solutions, I'd definitely work with Sean again. Just be clear about charges as you go so there are no surprises (a good business practice anyway) and having a day or two to make sure everything is working right and all is fixed. read more

I found Sean on Yelp when I was in Costa Mesa, trying to just sell my laptop for parts. I previously (about a year prior to finding Sean) took my laptop to some guys in Huntington Beach. They told me there was nothing they could do for me to fix the laptop, unless I purchased a whole new motherboard. Wrong. Sean was amazing! Courteous knowledgeable owner! They were able to retrieve a lot of files from my computer, but unfortunately, some critical ones were not found. The owner, Shahram, was genuinely unhappy with the data recovery outcome and for not being able to give me back all of my lost files. He took time to show me how to try other ways to see if it's stored in iCloud. They ran the data recovery program twice even though they were being charged at every use by the data recovery software company, but they only charged me once and gave me a discount on the final quote they had given me originally. Probably the worst customer service experience I've ever had. Not only was Sean rude, it took OVER A WEEK to give me a "diagnosis". Sean would tell me that he would call me by the end of the day with the problem and cost to fix said problem about 3 times, but I never received a call from him. He didn't even give me a definitive issue. First they said it was the cpu causing my issues, which I bought a new one to replace it, but they kept it for another 4 days then told me it was the motherboard. When I was finally annoyed enough to ask for my PC back, Sean has the audacity to ask me to wait 2 more days before he would bring it back from their "repair shop". When I picked up the PC, he had it in the back of his car trunk and returned it to me with the cpu cooler just dangling around knocking into the internal components. Plus the big scratches on the side of my pc case causing me to need to replace the case too. He ended up proposing $300 to replace my old mobo for my new mobo. Twice the cost of it. Rediculous This place clearly shows complete disregard for the integrity of the customers products. I would recommend staying clear from OC Computers unless you want your computer to come back damaged on top of their rude customer service. Take your computer repairs anywhere else. read more

I had a Dell that I bought off craigslist super cheap because I needed a laptop right away. About 3 months later the motherboard went out. Sean gave me a price to fix it, but when he got the part in it ended up not working. He offered me a refurbished laptop, and was actually able to sell me a 2017 MacBook Air all updated to the latest Apple OS system. He also gave me a good deal to upload Microsoft office while he was at it all, complete with a 90-day warranty on the laptop. Sean is very responsive and is easy to text with to get what you need.
