The price was so reasonable - less than a month at the storage facility! Joel and Jose arrived promptly on time after calling me and confirming the details. They moved everything so efficiently, leaving space for my Mom to move around the room with her walker. Really kind, professional and great guys - request them if you can! They did everything in the time I was quoted and did an amazing job! Some of those boxes were large and heavy... I'll use Alamo Movers for all of my future moves if I can! CFM provided full packing services on a Wednesday, and on Thursday they loaded everything onto two trucks, drove to my new home, then unloaded and set everything up (in one day!). It was a complex move. We were coming from a very full townhouse - lots of breakables, a couple pieces of furniture that required significant disassembly, a piano that had to go around a tight corner and down a flight of stairs. Everything was packed and loaded with extreme care. When we arrived at the new house, the team went to great lengths to place everything just where we wanted it, assembling all items and cleaning up nicely. Through it all, every member of the team showed a very high level of professionalism, compassion, kindness, and respect, both for my belongings and for my family members. Working with owner Richard before and during the move was also excellent. He walked me carefully through my moving options, and provided detailed quotes based on a couple different scenarios I'd asked him about. The price he quoted was in line with quotes I received from other local movers, but I went with CFM specifically because of the confidence I got speaking directly with Richard. When moving day arrived, there were no surprises: everyone was on time, the team was the size I expected, and the price was exactly what I was quoted. There was even a flub-up on my end, where I accidentally overpaid by a few hundred dollars, and Richard nearly immediately refunded the balance after the move was complete. A long-distance move with a house full of stuff is one of the most stressful experiences of a person's life. There's nothing more valuable than having a moving company that provides door-to-door service, with professionalism and transparency. Don't know if that has changed because they won't respond to my emails. This is my experience with a move to Remember. I moved in September. They broke a vintage antique marble table. I filed a claim with them in the hopes of having them fix it, or financial compensation. A move to remember has been unresponsive in trying to resolve my claim.They took the broken table pieces after the move saying they would try to have it fixed. It is now April and I still do not have my table, any monetary compensation, and have not heard from the claims department or anyone from the company in over a THREE MONTHS. Since September, I have been going back and forth with this company trying to resolve this. It has been months of radio silence, then getting some communication emails, then more radio silence again for months. In one of our infrequent email discussions in January, they communicated that they are in deliberation trying to resolve some other issue and as a result of the deliberation and lost wages, the company was at the time, unable to resolve claims. They stated that they would circle back to my claim in March in hopes they could resolve it by then. This is despite us having a signed contract that stating claims will be resolved after 120 days, and as such should have been resolved in January. Hopeless to have it resolved at some point, I followed up with the company back in March multiple times to see if they had additional updates. It is now mid April and I have still not heard back regarding my claims status. The last communication I received from them was the end of January. No compensation, no communication, radio silence, and they won't even give me back the pieces of my table. They broke vintage antique furniture and ghosted me. It was a move to remember and not in a good way. Oh also day of the move they showed up with one fewer movers than I was quoted for, told me the move would take longer as a result of someone calling out, then it took hours longer than their updated longer timeline. I was the first time slot of the day and they showed up about 1-1.5 hrs late and the move went well into the evening. Additionally, they randomly had supervisors on site to monitor how things were going from a process perspective, but these supervisors weren't helping the movers that were obviously exhausted. So I was quoted 4 movers, 3 showed up, 2 supervisors show up to just watch, and the move took hours longer than anticipated. Supervisors started helping at the end but what a weird experience. If anyone at the company reads this, can someone actually help me with this claim?

Those 1-2hrs turned into 3hrs. At 7pm, I got a call that said they were here- they weren't. We had to call back the main headquarters/owner. Our two options were: 1) wait until Donna could get movers that night or 2) have our Uhaul stay packed overnight in a truck. (Overnight wasn't an option because we didn't have a padlock). Although we were grateful for the TWO movers that she could get to us that night, there should be more back up movers so this type of issue doesn't happen over and over again. The "discount" I was given was because I only had TWO movers vs. the THREE I had originally booked. We helped the two movers so that we could act like a third mover for these two guys to make it faster. Thank you to the two movers for getting to us that night, and I wouldn't use this service again.

I don't allow shoes inside the house, and without me having to say much, they laid down floor mats, wore booties the entire time, and even covered my brand new carpet with plastic wrap to protect it. I had no issues with the pack or the move. The crew that was sent was very personable, diligent, and fairly quick with the pack and move. I think it took about six hours total. No issues with the service there. However, after unpacking, my TV screen was cracked. I submitted a damage claim form as directed by their customer care department. After a few days the responded with a denial of my claim. It was disappointing that they would not accept responsibility for the damage and insinuated that I was the one who damaged the TV, or at the very least, because I did not see the damage before they left (or in their words) "there were no damages reported during the move", that they would not assume responsibility. Looks like I'll be visiting a rage room soon with my broken TV.
