Infinity Solar - Villa Park solar battery system

Infinity Solar

(296 reviews)

I wanted to share my recent wonderful experience with my recent service visit with Infinity Solar…read more I purchased my system in 2024 (detailed review also done); during this time, my solar generation has been absolutely wonderful, and sized perfectly by Kay. My electric bill is essentially free over all of 2025 and this year. Some months have a $10 dollar bill, other months negative depending on how sunny each day is. I have had zero issues whatsoever and system works like clockwork. The installation over my tile roof, done through Terrazas roofing, partnered with Solar has also been top notch with zero issues with multiple major storms last year. I would say i was 110% satisfied with my decision to go solar and with Infinity solar. Fast forward to 2026. A series of recent power outages resulted in no power in my home. My initial thinking was that my system should have generated power with a fully charged battery during this outage. After calling Infinity, it was relayed that my system per contract was only set up for load shifting by design, lowering cost which I had decided on. After discussing 2 options to allow for backup power generation, i decided to proceed with the upgrade. Throughout the process, the entire team supported me exceptionally, starting with Sara who stepped in to help speak to me when the service department was not available at the time. As i did'nt understand my contract fully,, i reached out to Kay in sales, whom i did not speak to in 2 years, who really went above and beyond to explain to me in full detail how my system was set up, and options i had to upgrade. Kay treated me like family. I was so appreciative of her kind approach. She helped coordinate a technical call with Joel to fully answer all my technical questions. Once i decided i was comfortable with to proceed with the upgrade, the service team took over, with Vanessa and Brianna helping me schedule my service. Vanessa and Brianna work tremendously well together; super friendly, pleasant, professional and helpful. I requested looking into a couple options which Vanessa followed up on and accommodated without hesitation. A straight forward and exact quote was provided on Thursday. Their service and help was fantastic and greatly appreciated. Upon approving my quote on Thursday, my service was completed on the following Tuesday, much faster than I expected. Upgrade was performed by Ivan, electrician specialist. Ivan also initially setup my system in 2024. His expertise is perhaps, in my view, the finest in the industry. I felt very fortunate and appreciative knowing i hd my system in the best hands. He spent about 3 hours working on my system, explaining all the steps. Work performed was tremendous. Ivan patiently answering all my questions on some of the system parameters forgotten over the past 2 years. System was up and running and verified to work fully with a simulated power outage performed through the fuse box, and through the app. I was thrilled to now have backup power during outages. Billing and final payment was as quoted and super easy. In closing, the real mark of any business is how you are treated after the job is complete. My belief is that Infinity solar lives up to their reputation of being an exceptional 5 star company providing high expertise solar services through all phases of a project; sales, installation, commission, operational life, and post installation services. In a business of fraught with fly by night companies, Infinity Solar is a true gem. Solar done right with integrity, highest expertise, and exceptional, prompt service when called on. Thanks again to the entire Infinity team. 5 Star once again! Dave C

UPDATE: Sadly, changing my original 5-star review to 1 star…read more I'm really disappointed to have to update my original review. When we purchased our solar system from Infinity Solar in 2017, the installation process was great, and we genuinely felt they went above and beyond. We were extremely pleased with our experience and had no hesitation recommending them. Unfortunately, fast-forward several years, and our experience has been completely different. Recently, one of our inverters stopped working. Given that our contract includes a 25-year warranty covering workmanship, labor, and certain equipment, we naturally reached out to Infinity Solar expecting them to stand behind their warranty. Instead, we were told we would have to pay $550 just for someone to come out and assess the problem, followed by additional hourly labor charges for however long the repair would take. When we questioned why we were being charged these fees despite our warranty, the owner, Tim, explained that we lived too far away, that the business wasn't doing well financially, and that it essentially wasn't worth it for him to send someone out. He even mentioned that they were considering closing the business altogether. Needless to say, we were shocked and extremely disappointed by this response. We trusted this company with a significant investment, in part because of the extensive warranties they offered. To now be told that servicing our system isn't worthwhile to them because of their financial situation and our location is incredibly frustrating. Ultimately, we hired another company that came out and repaired our inverter for just $300--less than what Infinity wanted to charge simply to diagnose the problem. It's unfortunate because our initial experience was genuinely positive. However, a company's true commitment to its customers isn't just demonstrated during the sale and installation, but in how it stands behind its products and warranties years later. A 25-year warranty means very little if the company is unwilling to honor it when you actually need service. I sincerely hope Infinity Solar reconsiders how it treats its existing customers. Based on our recent experience, I can no longer recommend them, particularly to anyone placing value on their long-term warranty promises.

Update for my review with OC - Savannah from customer service reached out regarding my experience…read moreand expressed regret over how things went and changes were actively happening at the company. She offered a free panel cleaning, which she set up internally and had their team come out this past Friday without issue. Since the cleaning the panels have been much better performing especially after these past few weeks of misting and rain, about 25% higher output. I didn't think much of it but I get now it's worth doing to get the most out of the panels. Overall a very good response and experience with OC specifically for this issue. I feel that they do want to stand out from the crowd and responding proactively to feedback gives me more confidence they'll take care of issues as they hear about them.

We had OC Solar install our system in February 2024 and paid in full. The install itself went fine,…read morebut now when we need warranty service, the company is nearly impossible to reach. In mid-August our system stopped producing power. We didn't find out until our utility bill came in roughly $600 higher than normal. Since then, we've sent multiple emails and submitted a service request with no response. I finally reached someone by phone and, after escalating to a manager, they committed to sending a technician today at 4pm. No one showed up and no one called. When we call back, we sit on hold, get an auto response we're being transferred to customer support, and then the line goes silent before we are ultimately sent to a voicemail service. A 25-year installation warranty means nothing if the company won't answer the phone or show up. Every day our system is down costs us money. If you're considering OC Solar, ask hard questions about how they handle service after the sale. I'll update this review if they make it right.

Highly Recommend 365 Solar Inc. and Troy's Team!…read more This is our second time working with Troy and his team at 365 Solar Inc., and once again, it's been a great experience from start to finish! Troy has been our main point of contact, and he's always incredibly responsive, responsible, and helpful throughout the entire process. He stays on top of everything, from permit applications to site visits and scheduling, and makes sure things move along smoothly. He's also very proactive about keeping us updated, which makes the whole process so much less stressful. We compared quotes from several solar companies, and 365 Solar Inc. offered by far the most competitive pricing. On top of that, Troy went above and beyond to help us save even more by looking into and applying for different rebate programs. It's rare to find a team that offers such great pricing without compromising on service. This is our second solar installation with Troy and his team, and both experiences have been excellent. It's always a pleasure working with them, and I would highly recommend 365 Solar Inc. to anyone considering solar!

Being abandoned was an issue, as RMA processing for SolarEdge requires an installer to process it. Unbeknownst to the previous owners of my property, the inverter was completely shot and did not have monitoring capability. They processed the RMA for my SolarEdge inverter, installed it once it was here, and also gave me access to SolarEdge monitoring once that was completed. The price was more than fair to do all of the following. They also had great communication throughout the whole process. Highly recommended!

The handyman "supposedly fixed" it, charging me for the repairs every time. He even went so far as to replace the roof. That cost me thousands of dollars additionally, but the leaks continued. This year, heavy rain caused water to gush onto my covered patio, frying the TV and AV system that was located there. I was away on a trip and did not see that until after my return. When I called the handyman to see the damage and make repairs, he flatly refused because I was very angry at the time I spoke to him about his shoddy work. That was pure gall and more on his part! At that stage I was desperate but fortunate to find All In One Roofing. Reggie reviewed the problem and suggested all options for repair. His team then promptly made the necessary repairs for a reasonable price. I haven't had any leaks since, and hopefully I will not have any more fried TVs and other electronic equipment. I must say that the leak, while I was overseas could have started a house fire and I was fortunate to have dodged that bullet.

The owner of the company came out right away the same day, (which we appreciated greatly) though it wasn't an emergency. The owner used a drone to send up to take close-up pictures of our cement tile roof. He showed us the pictures and then gave us 2 options to select from: 1. To just fix a smaller area around the fireplace, (close to the Solar Panel that may have attributed to the leak.) by using flashing around the fireplace and under the Solar panel bracket. (We also requested the Solar Panels be cleaned as well.) 2.. Or fix a larger area beyond the leak area by using flashing, cleaning the larger area of the roof, making sure no tiles were broken and cleaning the Solar Panels as well. The owner was nice, polite and friendly. He shared that he doesn't get out to Norco very often but he was happy because he was meeting 2 of his best friends (that lived out this way) for lunch and it gave him an opportunity to see them. The owner stated that he would "get back to us that night" with the 2 estimates for Option One and Option Two. We were happy that we had found a company that could do both Roofing Repair & Solar. We were looking forward to hearing back from the Owner, as we really needed and wanted to get this project going. Well, we were very disappointed as the owner NEVER got back to us with the estimates. Therefore, we cannot say anything about Value. Needless to say.....we do NOT recommend this business. Thank you for reading this! Helen

I never really looked at the wiring closely until fairly recently but was not happy when I realized what a crappy job the Manufacturer did in wiring the motorhome and how the RV Dealer made it even worse while integrating the Solar panels they added. I finally decided that I needed to replace the Solar panels, go to a Lithium battery and get quality/dependable inverters. I got sick and tired of wasting money on regularly replacing 6 volt batteries that died even with the best of care and having inverter issues. I am extremely satisfied with my installation and complete rewiring and I am so happy that I can now spend time off grid for long periods without worrying about power issues. Corey at All-County is a thorough professional and a stickler for details. Exactly what I was looking for.
