She has always made sure to explain our insurance plan and break down the costs to an easy to understand format. They do offer additional services (such as the add on exam several reviewers mentioned), but in my experience, it was clear those were additional services not covered by insurance. The price was clearly communicated to me and I was given the option to purchase or decline. Not dissimilar to the way you are offered furniture protection or phone insurance for other purchases! Staff was responsive and friendly, and my eye doctor was kind and knowledgeable. They are now my primary eye care location. I also was able to peruse the lens store, trying on many options in the process. The staff member in this area also helped me understand my insurance and what could be covered.

This went beyond just friendly chit chat; the conversation went on and on and on as though I wasn't even there. I now know that nurses in MA make more money than they do in RI, that they should start their careers in a large hospital for experience, they should skip New Bedford altogether (too many alcoholic cases) and try a Cape hospital for ICU experience. I mean, it just went on and on and on. On a Tuesday morning, most people have a job to go to. I left and took my business elsewhere.

Sadly last night my glasses snapped. I decided to go back to them this morning. The same lady showed up 6 minutes late and proceeded to tell me to take my frames to Pawtucket to get them fixed. I tried to see if I could just buy new frames, while she blew me off twice to answer the phone. What a joke! I really don't understand how this spot could make any money with attitude like that. Really can't wait for Costco to show up in Rhode Island
