My new glasses are great, and they were already fit with an old band-aid to fix the crack in that piece across my nose. The eye drops were a trip- they say my pupils were so dilated whatever that means. but they looked a lot like my sister's when she comes home at 6am from these raves she talks about. Well I'm raving too. If it's not cloudy, I can see from Woonsocket to Westerly. Thank God, because I wouldn't want to drive that distance- that's a 4 day trip in RI and 2 hotel stops. Oh, and the offices were easy to find- literally right next to where Benny's used to be....even though really everything is next to where a Benny's used to be. So they said my vision was 20-15, can you believe it! Everyone was impressed but to be honest, I memorized the eye chart from iphone pix I took a few months earlier. Cool huh? Just don't tell them I cheated...or the lawyers of the dog owners whose pug I ran over one morning. Twice. He just wouldn't stay down. Fine. 3 times. But in fairness I lost a rim. They want to take me to court! Right. They'll never find me: I live in Woonsocket and their offices are in Westerly. I recently decided to get an eye exam since I've been having a hard time reading smaller prints and…read morelabels and I found out my insurance covers the exam 100% and also covers one pair of glasses every 2 years so decided to get real glasses instead of using the reader's I'd picked up at Walmart! I hate making phone calls and any kind of appointments, but I sucked it up and called this place first and the receptionist was so nice and friendly on the phone. I got an appointment for a few days later and when I got there the person at the front desk was really friendly and helpful, gave me the paperwork to fill out, etc.. I was called in right on time and I the medical assistant or whoever takes your history and starts the exam was awesome, that went great and then the doctor came in, I had Dr Jackson and she was excellent as well. Once I was finished she gave me my prescription and I went over to the eyeglass section and started browsing, the employee over there was great as well, I gave her the paper and my insurance card and she showed me the selection of glasses that were covered, it wasn't a huge selection, but since they were covered 100% by insurance, it was good enough and I saw several pairs I liked and chose the pair that looked best, which I absolutely love. I would recommend this business to anyone, both the doctor and the staff were awesome to work with, I was in and out of there in about an hour and the entire experience was pleasant.

I chose to do business with this company as I was very unhappy with the optometrist shop attached to my eye providers office. The precision measuring & accuracy was amazing and very detailed. The purchasing of these glasses went very smoothly and and I've had no problems with the glasses at all. Fast forward to this week when I accidentally stepped on them . I was heartbroken as I am very dependent upon them to see. A quick trip to their office and I have them back in perfect working order. I am terrible at making decisions or judging glasses on myself, so I was thrilled when the folks working there called me over to try a pair they thought would work on me (unprompted), and then they helped me try a few more on until the consensus was reached on the perfect frames. Could they have put some absurdly expensive designer frames on me to make a bigger sale? Sure. But instead, they really focused on a pair that suited my new short hair and framed my face (pun intended) beautifully. I was so thankful for their proactive approach and all three of them definitively voting on the best pair. I'm a decision by consensus girly, so this was a blessing!

We went to Weathervane Tack shop after looking up a couple of places. My daughter read reviews for this place that sounded very nice and the distance was good (only 23 mins from Seekonk MA). We arrived and we're greeted by the owner. His name is Frank, he was very helpful in finding us what we needed and was also very kind to offer items that were reasonable for the amount of riding my daughter will be going for now. He also told us about his frequent visitor program. He made us a card that stays in the shop and after 6 trips to the shop he will give us a gift card with a total of 10% of the total purchases. My daughter and I had a great experience Frank has a very well stocked store with everything one would need to take care of their horses or ponies and even other animal needs as well. As I've only been riding for the last four years, I decided it was time. When I arrived, it was the owner and one other customer. I had walked in and kindly asked if Frank provided the service of measuring my head. When I asked that question, he had asked what I meant, and then I repeated myself. After that, I was answered rudely with, "Are you going to buy anything?" Not knowing how to respond, I stated that if I found the right product, I'd be more than happy to purchase a helmet from him, as it seemed like he had a great selection of helmets. He was cashing someone out, so I waited patiently and walked around to see what else the store had. Some context here: I'm 18 and look a bit younger than a usual 18-year-old would. After our brief conversation, I walked around the store while I was waiting. While I paused, I overheard the owner saying how I was in the wrong place for that sort of thing if I wasn't going to buy anything. He also said how my generation is rude and comes in "demanding things." I was never raised to disrespect my elders or speak in such a manner, so I don't know what went wrong in this situation. It was such an unfortunate interaction because I was genuinely looking for some assistance in hopes of buying new attire. It really is so unfortunate because of the great reviews everyone else has left, and from what I've heard from people who have been going to him for years. The latter can be bought as singles (25 cents each) instead of a bundle if you want to try a variety of scents without having to buy a box for each separate one. These singles also seem to burn longer and stronger than the boxed/usual incense. 2) The staff seems friendly. When I brought $30 worth of incense to the cashier, he said "what do you have over there, a dead body?" -_- very funny. 3) It's the only store in the Wakefield area that sells incense, and the store is never busy (this is Rhode Island after all).
