Starting with service per usual - Great, the wait staff did a fantastic job. Everyone was on it, engaged and very friendly. Setting - this is a small restaurant but can handle more than you would think, maybe 40-50 peeps inside and another 10-15 outside. Everything was clean and generally a pleasant place to be. Lunch or dinner for a group or a date night would be fun. Food - ok here is where they hit it out of the park, simple menu with good, fresh food. The menu names are a nice touch, everything is a biblical twist, I love it when owners spend time on the menu as well as the food. Food quality was very good, fresh ingredients, sweet potato fries were right out of the fryer and sandwich greens were perfect along with fresh pesto, I love fresh pesto. Kombucha on tap was a find as well, not very many places have this and it's so nice for lunch. They had a good selection of beers and cider on tap as well. In short, you will not be disappointed. We started with the "Burning Bush" appetizer (crispy Brussel sprouts w/ lemon garlic aioli). YUM! They had just the right bite to them, and the glaze on them paired with the aioli was delicious! For our entrees we had the Golden Calf Burger w/ sweet potato fries and sriracha aioli and The Weight of Glory Sandwich w/ broccoli slaw. They were both incredibly flavorful and fresh! You can tell they locally source their ingredients and prepare them onsite. The portions are also plentiful, and we left with a takeout box. To round off lunch we tried the special mousse on the specials board (coffee flavored cheesecake mousse). It was so delightful we dug in before I could snap a pic.
