Pretty fair for a quick sit-down bite or even a carry-out. Lots of soup, sandwich and salad choices. Prices are inexpensive. The staff here were very friendly and accomodating. I did not give it the final star because I ordered a shrimp and avocado salad after searching high and low for avocado. However, when I got home and set down to eat...there was no avocado on my salad. *whomp whomp* read more

Terrible service, couldn't care less if someone was standing at the counter waiting to order. Waited on then to finish there convo before I could order. Brought me someone else's to go order which I opened and watch them give to another customer. Will not be back until they re-staff! read more

When picking up my takeout order I was not given utensils and walked in to the takeout counter to get some. There was an employee standing there having a funny conversation with someone they knew. Stood there a while to get help but he continued to have conversation with her while there was another person in line behind me as well. Just totally ignored. Finally another employee realized we were being ignored and helped us. Sad that people are like this these days. Food is fine but was not expecting such a sad service. read more

Always have had a great experience at this store. My order is just as I wanted when placed. The staff members are always friendly.

Garbage garbage garbage every time I order from here the order is CRAZY wrong. Today my tuna sandwich was made inside out. The sandwich maker had no choice but to notice the mayo was on the outside of the bread. like WTF. THE TOAST WAS TO THE INSIDE. Again ruined my lunch break. read more

I tried the pimento Mac and cheese tonight because of recent dental work and it is delicious- will definitely have it again.

I love the salads and sandwiches from Newk's! A little on the pricey side, but hey it's 2024 what isn't pricey? I always order online and have it picked up and it's always ready on time! I've ordered several times from here and they always get it right! Inside it's quiet, clean, and nice. They also have an outside patio if you choose to sit outside. All in all a great place to grub! read more

I enjoy stopping by for a quick bite that's modestly priced and tastes fresh. The service is quick when they aren't packed, however, early ordering and takeout is available through their app. This location offers indoor and outdoor seating too, with the outside patio facing the sunset. Worst Newk's around! Service staff is loud and standing around. we have tried several times but it seems to keep trending downhill.

I am from north Mississippi, where both oxford and Tupelo locations are outstanding. Never an issue. Ever. Always great food. A couple of weeks ago, I called in a pick up order for a pepperoni only cauliflower crust pizza. I was hung up on after waiting 15 minutes, so I called back and put my order in. Upon picking up, I had a pepperoni pizza loaded with tomatoes. I called back and explained that the pizza was not what I ordered, and was not good. I told them I wanted a comped pizza. They offered that and a gift card. Fast forward to today. I call in a Newk's q cauliflower pizza, and I explain the precious scenario. They told me I could speak to a manager when I arrived. While waiting, I get a phone call from the male manager at this location. I'm in the store at this point. I hang up and speak to them in person. I got a free drink, dessert, and my pizza. The female manager and staff were wonderful, BUT, the pizza was wrong AGAIN. I bagged it in the bag I was given which was also too small, so all the toppings slid off of the pizza. The pizza was pepperoni and basil. I have no words. I am so disappointed that I won't be able to consider this an option for dining out anymore. I won't continue to pay for orders that are wrong. The two stars are only for the female management. Someone needs to learn to LISTEN more, and give less attitude on the phone. Until then, adios. There are many more Newk's I can drive to! read more

I order from the Newk's in Clinton once a month, always for pick-up. My experiences have always been good. My order is almost always ready when I arrive, my order is always correct, and the quality is exactly what I expect. The staff is always helpful & the establishment is always clean. read more

Newk's Eatery - Runny potatoe soup - Pizza Near Me - Clinton, Mississippi

Newks is where I love to go for Pizza. The cauliflower crusted Pizza. I do avoid the pizzas with Chicken simply because on pizza, thr chicken's usually dry (over-cooked). If I get a salad I order the dressing on the side, simply because I don't like my salad drowning in dressing. But you might like that. The Grab and Go is very convenient and the Pickles is a must grab. read more

Terrible customer service, the cashier spoke maybe 3 words while we ordered. Those words consisting of i'm not sure, and when a normal person working cashier would go ask a manager or a fellow employee for help to answer a easy question, she sat there and asked if there and did nothing. This is especially frustrating when all i asked was if a few items on the menu are gluten free, and no one had any idea. I have celiac disease, so this is a health concern not just a preference. I have been to another location in Dallas Texas and the customer service was fantastic. This franchise needs to retrain and rehire there employees if they want to stay around. I find it inexcusable that a health concern is not taken seriously by your staff. I wish the best, but will not be returning. Side note, the ahi tuna salads tuna was frozen solid when i received it. read more

Great quality food and affordable! Highly recommended! A great variety of options to chose from.

Awesome customer service and the fruit could be better but I didn't sweat it since the ladies were very nice.

Absolutely nothing to write home about. Poor service, workers standing around on their phones, one telling the other to help you as a customer. Didn't add our drinks to the order. Dry sandwich and dry chicken in the salad. Hard pass. read more

Newk's Eatery - There's a lot, but it didn't taste fresh. Brown lettuce. Dry chicken. - Pizza Near Me - Clinton, Mississippi

I've had food from other Newk's and it was fine. From this one: Not particularly loaded down with customers, it took about 25 minutes for a to-go-order, with others being served while I waited, even though they arrived more than a dozen minutes after me. This alone would be forgivable, but my sandwich had almost nothing on it, the soup (lobster bisque) had nothing but the liquid (I assume it's supposed to have -something- else in it), and they were so careless with putting it in the bag that it landed upside down and broke the seal, so half the soup spilled out, soaking and eventually ripping through the paper bag as well. The food was okay, so they get a single star. read more

Newks more like PUKES.. We rolled in here pretty excited to have our first Newk's Q sammies in quite some time, so the vibes were high. We got knocked down a notch after waiting 10 minutes at the register before anyone came to take our order. After ordering I went to the bathroom and MY GOD it smelled like a bottle of Brian Fantana's sex panther cologne exploded in there. The culprit of the odor was a giant puddle of shit water flooding the sink area. DO NOT WEAR FLIP FLOPS IN THIS JOINT. Then we sat down and waited 25 minutes for our food while the whole restaurant was empty. I felt like I had accidentally eaten an edible because the staff was physically moving slower than humanly possible. When the food finally came out the Mac and cheese was so cold. And can someone explain to the chef here that a "Margherita" pizza is not supposed to be covered in tomato sauce? Now they do still get 2 stars instead of 1 star because aside from the circus experience my Newk's Q sandwich slapped.. Can't beat that white sauce. read more

the food was okay our food was ready 10 minutes after they said it would be and still asked for a tip and messed up me and my moms order

Newk's, where has your relish bar been all my life? Oh, how I love your large black plastic cups, bread and butter pickles, croutons, and gherkins. Your sweet tea keeps me coming back for more. The Newk's Favorite Salad was more than I could bear (or finish). Seriously, this place is great for groups, or separate ticket parties. The relish bar could be a meal in itself. They make their croutons in house. This place has something for everyone, including Mediterranean and American goodies. read more

Service good but cashier was distracted by co-worker and missed part of my wife's order. Tomato Basil soup thickened with way too much corn starch. Splenda-sweetened tea was unappealing (too much sweetener) so left glass full on table. Town is small, so, could be lack of competition or available staff, but found staff very attentive at another favorite in area with mediocre food. read more

This place sucks - attitude of people working here is terrible. People who ordered after us got their food before us while our food was just sitting there and staff was either on their phones or chit chatting in the back - When asked about our order we got attitude in return. Oh and no utensils for our to go order - once we got to the car my wife had to go back in and ask for it. read more

Blah. It takes 15 minutes to get a salad. Other Newks are way better. I also don't feel like the food is consistent. Sometimes my pizza has more toppings than other times and same with sandwiches. The sizes also vary depending on the day. read more

Disappointing recent visit. Yesterday I ran a couple of errands in Clinton and decided to get a Newks Q pizza for dinner. I've done this before and I have been satisfied in the past. I used to love Newks, but the quality has dropped considerably over the past few years and even more significantly over the past several months. We get salads with chicken added all the time and it used to be grilled and flavorful...now it's just tasteless. The sandwiches are better, but I don't eat many of those. The pizzas - you never quite know what you'll get. Pretty inconsistent. Usually good, but at times far more greasy than others. Holding out hope for improvement. read more

Always a friendly staff, food is delicious. Can't go wrong with the grilled steak sandwich or pimiento mac n cheese!

Since my husband and I are camping as we travel the Natchez Trace Trail, we decided to go out for Sunday dinner. We forgot that it was Mother's Day and most places were crowded. Someone suggest Newk's. We ordered a shrimp po'bo with cole slaw and shrimp remoulade salad which we shared. It was fun watching our salad being prepared. Be sure to have their sweet tea as it made the meal perfect! Newk's would be perfect for anyone wanting a casual meal. Very relaxing with the meal being served quite quickly The menu has something for everyone from 1 to 100 years old! Soups, salads, sandwiches and pizza. read more

My food was good because you can't mess up Newks. But the breadstick and pickle bar was a mess. The actual salad bar behind the counter was a mess. I did go at closing time so that may have an effect on it. The staff were slightly on the unprofessional side, but that's only with each other. I did have to wait a long time for a side of macaroni after others had already gotten their food. read more

Pretty good Newks location. I frequent this location often. Always fast service and nice servers. Even when they have gotten my order wrong they have been receptive and quick to fix any mistake. Newks food is more about convenience and quickness. I do love the sandwiches, which are always warm and toasty. The salads are usually too drenched with dressing so I ask for it on the side. All in all, not a bad place to eat for a quick, filling, and cheaper lunch. I've been coming here for years and will keep coming. read more

I worked here around september 2019, Managers do not train new staff enough at all. I didn't even know there were roller wheel carts I could use to push around the large containers of salad. Several times I came in and my coworker's clothes smelled of mildew. Many of them hadn't gotten a new work shirt for over a year. Items in the salad line are supposed to be changed mid-day but they never were, people who had worked there for four years had only gotten fifty-cent raises. My coworkers were always chit-chatting. People would frequently leave during rush hours to go out to smoke, and everyone always rushes to close down their stations when it's closing time. Also, the salad line does NOT work like subway, you have to order what you want and don't want at the cash register, you can't point at things and say "I want this." It's stressful enough working there as it is. read more

Look, around Clinton there's not much to eat out and very few places to really go enjoy a quality, fresh meal. Newk's is one of those places. I LOVE their broccoli n' cheese soup, so much that every Thursday they serve it, me and my roomie make a point to come here and specifically have it. It's creamy, heavy and delicious. The chili chicken pizza is quite delicious but spicy, not your typical pizza. The pesto sandwich is very good, although it can get quite bready. Another favorite of mine is the chicken Caesar salad, huge portions of chicken and greens. One tip for the salad, is get the dressing on the side, they give way too much. I love the sweet tea here, and they have a nice selection of unsweetened, Splenda, and sweetened. The cakes looks horrible and honestly I don't think anyone buys those things. They sit in a glass container near the cashier and I don't think they've ever changed them out. Gross! read more

If I could give a 0 I would, first of first The staff was rude and didn't accommodate the mistakes they made on my order with respect and made me feel as if I was the one who was the issue even though it was clearly their mistake per say my order that I had a recipe for online since it was a online order. It made me feel terrible about speaking up that my order was wrong even though I had all the right. read more

I would have rated this place 5 stars if it were professionally managed. The salad and soup were very good. The decor is very nice, also a good setup with a separate sink outside the bathroom. We had the soup and salad combination. My wife ordered the Caesar Salad with Lobster and Crab Bisque, I had the Simply Salad with Black Bean Soup. Both were very good. The entire bill was around $15. No tip and we drank water. We dined on a Sunday evening between 5 & 5:30. I counted at least 8 people working. I would have really liked this place if they had done just a couple of things different. Friendly-A greeting and welcome with a smile. The male cashier was polite, but not overly friendly. While were seated and eating, no one came by and asked how the food tasted. I would have loved to tell them how good it tasted. When we left I don't think anyone noticed. How about, "thank you, hope to see you again". Cleanliness-There was one big table that needed cleaning when we arrived, and it was only getting cleared at the time we left. Meanwhile several other customers had left and none of those tables were cleaned. We also noticed the table next to ours had been cleared, but still had food crumbs on it. I could accept all the above if the place was busy. It wasn't. There were only 4-8 tables occupied the entire time we were there. Lot's of employees standing around. One girl came out to clean the tables, meanwhile there were seven people milling aroundthe back. I hope this place is around in a year, I really liked the food. IMO they need a change in management and attitude. read more

With the exception of the Clinton location, I have always had consistent, great experiences at Newks. Because of that I was reluctant to make this rating but something needs to change with this location. With the limited food options on Clinton, it is such a shame that this locations struggles to prepare food at the same quality as every other Newks location I have eaten at. read more
