I waited 1hour on a deep meat lovers pizza when asking Managment about it he said they can't do anything about it. If he refunds me it will only be $.75 cent. Wth. And we don't give pizza to go on buffet even though you didn't get your order. SMDH. Poor customer service Wayne Skelton is a sorry manager. I spoke to him personally and that's what he said I hate this location. DONT GO TO CLINTON MAZZIOS PIZZA.

An utterly terrible experience. I placed my order via their app for a College Debate team. Past the time of delivery, I call to confirm. They claim they never received my order ... and that there is no such thing as a Mazzio's app. They claim they have no way to refund my purchase. While I enjoy Mazzio's in other cities, I'd avoid the Clinton location unless you want to spend sixty bucks for literally nothing.

My sister went to pick up an order I placed online, and when she arrived all she got was poor customer service. As soon as she walked through the door she was met with attitude. The first person my sister encountered stated, in a harsh tone, that there wasn't any orders under my name. My sister then went outside to call me which during that time the order was found, but instead of letting my sister know the staff just stood inside all staring at her. After getting a copy of the order I placed, my sister went back inside and was told by the staff that they did have the order. Mistakes happen, but what I don't accept is a lack of proper customer service to those who are paying service. The least they could have done was apologize for the mistake, but I guess that is just too much to ask for. To add to this review: I am disappointed with the food. I grew up in MS and had fond memories of Mazzio's Pizza, but this was not the Mazzio's I remember. This is the first time having Mazzio's in over a decade as I just moved back to MS and I see that the food is not quality made anymore. So sad!

The food is fine, although to be fair I pretty much always order the same thing, and I don't eat here often. The staff is fine. However, last couple of times I've ordered delivery the pizza came with a decent amount of the topping on the side of the box. It's perfectly, fine, but I think I stick with carryout from now on.

Ordered two pizzas, each with different toppings. They put all toppings on both pizzas. Crust was hard. Will not be ordering again

We had already tried a few other restaurants nearby, but because we were in a rush, no one was really able to accommodate us in time. As my friend and I were trying to decide whether we could realistically wait for a pizza, the owner overheard us and went completely out of his way to help. He actually disrupted the kitchen's order flow to move our pie to the front so we could make it to our event on time. It was one of the most thoughtful hospitality experiences I've had in a very long time. You can immediately understand why someone like that would earn recognition such as a James Beard Award. The pizza itself absolutely lived up to the kindness and care behind the service. We ordered the Hot Pop, and it was genuinely excellent. The crust was beautifully done--light, flavorful, and perfectly textured. One of my companions, who is French, even commented that it was one of the most authentic pizza crusts she'd had outside of Europe. The ingredients tasted incredibly fresh and high quality throughout. The hot honey paired perfectly with the pepperoni, and the cream cheese element worked far better than I would have expected, adding richness without overpowering the pie. Beyond the food itself, the atmosphere felt warm, welcoming, and accessible in a way that made the entire experience memorable. Overall, Poppy Pies delivered not only one of the best meals I had during my trip through Mississippi, but also one of the kindest examples of hospitality I've experienced in a long time. Absolutely worth a visit.

That thick, golden crust has the perfect balance of crisp edges and soft, airy chew in the middle. You can tell it is baked with intention. The cheese caramelizes along the sides, the sauce is bright without being overpowering, and every bite feels indulgent without tipping into heavy. It is hearty, comforting, and incredibly satisfying. Then there is the cheese bread, which deserves its own applause. Warm, gooey, and unapologetically cheesy, it hits that ideal sweet spot between pillowy dough and rich melted cheese. It is the kind of thing you plan to take home leftovers of and then mysteriously finish in the car. What really seals the deal, though, is the customer service. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and genuinely happy you are there. Orders come out with care, questions are answered with enthusiasm, and the whole experience feels relaxed and neighborly. You never feel rushed, just well taken care of. Poppy Pies fits Fondren perfectly. It is cozy, confident, and clearly made with love. Whether you are there for a full pizza night with the family or just grabbing cheese bread to treat yourself, it is absolutely worth the stop and very easy to crave again.

Great Legos on display, a cool "game" vibe, and very friendly staff. The food was also really good. The chili cheese tots were excellent. The tots were crispy and the chili and cheese were delicious. My chicken sandwich on Texas toast was also very good. The pickles they put on this sandwich, along with the garlic mayo, really add great flavor, and the toast was buttered and perfectly toasted. The pizza was good and you can add extra pepperonis if you want, for $1. They have tons of board games and card games and even a few video games for people to play. They host gaming nights, apparently, which is cool. The service was also really good. They asked if we wanted water to go, and without asking, they brought a small to-go cup of lemons, since we had lemon with the water we had with our food. A very nice touch. It's an interesting place in the middle of Mississippi that is worth stopping at if you're passing through around lunch time.

While doing so I stumbled across this location and decided to give it a try. I was amused by all the nerdy decor so I decided to nerd out and have dinner while watching Star Trek. My waiter explain the menu to me when I told him it was my first visit and offered good suggestions on items I should try. He informed me that they have various nights where they have board games, movies, and other activities. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw and pretzel bites. The food came out in a timely manner and was well prepared at a great temperature. Although the coleslaw was bland, you can tell it was freshly made. The pulled pork was a good portion and flavorful while the pretzel bites were fluffy and salty just like you would want them. As to my old fashioned, it tasted good, but they didn't include the traditional cherry for the old fashioned. I enjoyed this experience and the next time I'm in town I will visit for sure.
