Met a friend here for lunch. Its casual dining so for dine in, you place your order at the register and receive a number then choose where you want to sit. You place the number in the holder at the table and someone brings your order to your table. They young lady who took our order and brought it to us was extremely nice. The dining area was clean. I had the spud max baked potato and a ceasar side salad. The potato had ham, bacon, chives,olives, and cheese with sour cream on the side. It was decent. The salad was a typical ceasar salad. Long wait time, only for food to be cold. I ordered the honey barbecue spud and a McAllister's club. It didn't taste bad. Since the restaurant looked dirty, I opted for plastic silverware. Dirty tables with workers standing around instead of cleaning. I tried the witch's brew which was $4 only for lemonade with apple flavored syrup. We came here for a quick lunch. We were kindly greeted by the cashier. I don't remember her name, but we tipped her $10 for being so friendly. Everything went smoothly and we got our table number and drinks. When the manager on duty (assuming her name was TaNiya as listed on the receipt) brought us our food, we said thank you and politely told her we had a nacho appetizer as well that we hadn't received. She rolled her eyes and said "yeah okay" and rudely walked away. We never received an appetizer and she treated us as if we inconvenienced her by asking for a refund for the food. She took over 10 minutes to process a refund that should've taken any retail manager, such as myself, less than 30 seconds to complete. She was extremely rude, and for this reason we will never return to this location. Hopefully higher management will handle this issue properly. The young lady at the cash register did not speak up she told us to go to one register and then she went down to the other register I just stood there and stared at me and my two friends and didn't say one word..... so we were just all staring at each other confused ....... Note to the kitchen team, your guests can hear what you're saying. You complaining that someone should go to Subway if they order a customized sandwich is unbelievably unprofessional. If you don't want to make food for the guests, you shouldn't work in food service. 45 minutes to get a very poorly put together Caesar wrap, cold potato soup, and a custom Turkey sandwich (custom = lettuce and black olives only). Grabbed the food and got back on the road only to realize 5 minutes down the road they didn't give us silverware. My son had to drink his soup. About 10-15 people were told it was going to be a 30 minute wait so they all left. I wish we would have been told. Y'all lost a lot of business today. read more

I like McAlister's in Texas so figured its a good safe bet. We got two of our three meals out quickly but They forgot one of our meals. Fortunately they had great customer service to remedy the situation. They gave us a free cookie to apologize. Took a 3-star review to a 4-star! Well done! You can't be perfect all the time. So when you make a mistake, fix it and apologize. Y'all did good! The food was great btw! Just like the other places we have been to in Texas. It's McAlisters so yeah, you can expect the service to be good and food to be good. I've had issues with this particular location going easy on toppings/meat. I've never been particularly happy with the amount of topping on my spud max here. I got used to how they make them at the Dogwood store. I got a BLT&A today the had a sliver of avocado. I recently placed an order here via waiter. I always use waiter for carry out and delivery because it's a convenient way to pay. Well...... I sent my mom to pick up my order and the cashier (Abby I think) asked for payment. Then she asked if my mom worked for waiter.... not considering the fact that waiter employees wear shirts and carry bags for the food. Anyways..... I arrived to the store with one customer in front of me. It took 20 minutes to have an opportunity to order 3 teas and a kid's nacho. The cashier had the nerve to try to rush me as he took my order. I am under the impression that if you can give the previous 20 minutes of your time to another patron, you can patiently bear with me for 7 minutes, maybe smile, but definitely not repeatedly sigh out of irritation as I attempt to place my order. The only positive I can identify is the late night store hours, however this positive is completely canceled out by the frustratingly slow & unnecessarily rude customer service, the very evident disorganization which probably adds to the their inefficiency of service, the luke warm food I received, and poor communication amongst the staff and with customers. I recommend dining here only if you wish to have your patience tested and money and time wasted. I'd rate this place zero stars if I had the option. read more

Cashier and waitress got all of our orders wrong and yelled at my mother in law when she asked where our last sandwich was after waiting for 1 hour. We are from Memphis, TN. We love Mcalister's and are regular customers in Memphis and the surrounding areas. We found this one after we checked into our hotel. We walked in and every unoccupied table was dirty, there was a mask on the floor and only some of the employees were wearing a mask and the ones that did have a mask on they did not have it on correctly. I went to the restroom and got a paper towel with soap and cleaned is a table off myself. We have 5 in our family and we sat in a small booth due to it was the table that did not have leftover food on it. read more

Horrible. Experience. Waiting +45minutes for our lunch (a loaded potato and a sandwich and soup) was not fun. When it finally arrived, they somehow managed to forget the butter, the sour cream, AND THE SOUP all of which we asked for by name. The waitress acted like she was doing us a massive favor to go back and get the two condiments. Getting the butter and sour cream took her about ten minutes. The potato and sandwich were also freezing. So we sent them back too. They were still cold when we got them back. How on earth do you mess up a potato?! The soup never arrived. I go to McAlister's all the time. Normally, I love them. This restaurant, however, has been consistent below par. The tables are usually not cleaned off, and when the dirty dishes are gone, the table is not wiped good. The people taking the orders are usually rude and sometimes just belligerent. I've noticed that they are talking with friends coming in a lot. Also, their hair hangs down and I've seen them scratch their heads a lot. It's a little disgusting, actually. I've seen one girl's hair sweep across my glass as she filled it with tea. Yuck. I'm so disappointed in this location, since most of them are very good and the people are nice. I hope someone takes the reins here and cleans it up. I think a lot of customers don't come back, because I've overheard some negative comments. So sad. read more

I've been here twice. The first time was an online order for pick up. I believe everything was fine with it. This time was conflicted. The staff was very sweet and friendly, and the store was clean. We were promptly greeted and ordered takeout. The store wasn't busy, but it took forever. I heard a couple people complain about the wait. The staff was sweet to the woman as she tried to find it how much longer it would be, but they didn't apologize about the delay. They didn't come check on us or apologize to us when they finally gave us our food 30 minutes later. Again the place only had a handful of tables, so not sure what happened.
