You order at the counter and the girl taking my order was friendly and gave me her take on the sandwiches. Mind you, this is a pretty limited menu, considering the name of the place! When in Rome, I decided on a Crawfish Po'boy with a side of fries. I tried to order the Hot Side of the day, Crawfish Etouffe, but was told it was still in the oven. I guess the kitchen is still working on their timing. Speaking of timing, don't think you can rush in here on a lunch break and eat real quick. No this takes time. They are making these sandwiches to order, and clearly take pride in each one! While it took 15 minutes for the sandwich to come out, it was worth the wait! My crawfish were literally falling out of the stuffed bread. Each little nugget of crawfish was perfectly seasoned and fried to crisp perfection! The Cajun mayo dressing was spectacular! And they brag on their specialty bread for good reason. Crisp, tender, soft, chewy deliciousness. And the order of fries was outstanding! Fluffy logs of potatoes with crisp edges and pillowy insides. Well seasoned and not over salted! My biggest (i.e., only complaint) is the way it was served. No tray, no plate, just a bag of fries and a sandwich wrapped in parchment style paper. I get it, maybe this is a cost saving measure, or maybe it relates to a lack of kitchen space for a dishwasher. Either way way, gimme a plate! Good Boy Po'boys is worth a stop! I'll be back!
