Newk's is brand new to me. Where can you go and get pizza, salad, subs or wraps freshly made while you wait. The dine in Is huge. Plenty of seating. It's open where you can actually see the employees preparing your food. The club Wrap was fresh. Lettuce crisp. Bacon well done just like I asked. The fruit salad was just as delicious. That caramel cake slice. Leo's kissy say, I date the entire slice. I got a large 32oz reusable Newk's cup. I'm going to look up this business when I get back to St. Augustine. The salad was correct, and I changed a lot of items! It was a big salad and had tones of fresh vegetables and sliced roasted chicken. It is on the more expensive end that's why I'm not giving it 5 stars. The ambiance was a whole vibe and is super comforting. The service was quick, simple, and easy. One of our good go to places for lunch and it never falls short of consistent quality and great service. My wife and I normally get the ultimate salad and it is enough for us to split. Every once in a while, we will get the pizza and a drink special. Always very good. read more

This is always our go to place whenever family comes to visit us because it is the most accommodating and the place with the most selection for the picky eaters in our family. Overall, the food isn't too bad. I've had better sandwiches, better pizzas, better salads, but for their price, you get what you get. Their dessert is good though, so I would recommend getting some. The service is nothing to rave about. They don't go above and beyond; they do what they can to get their job done. As long as they're not rude, I have nothing to complain about. We have Newks in Alabama, but I have to tell you we've never had as positive an experience as we did at your location today. The young man at the front was so helpful, friendly, and positive. I asked to replace the chicken for salmon on your summer salad, and he made it his business to problem solve and also explained to me that I would need to pay an additional cost for the salmon. A gentleman noticed that I had put my cheese aside and came by to ask could he take it away and took the time to clean the table as well. The bathroom was very clean, and the restaurant was super clean and welcoming as well. I know that this type of service is not normal and that the management team must work very hard to be sure to hire good employees and to properly train them in how to treat guests. Very big salads. Lots of meat and vegetables. Nice variety of dressings. This place gets very busy very fast on certain days (sunday afternoon). A nice change from fast food. I ordered the ultimate salad with chicken, ham, and turkey. That is one of the best salads I have eaten and I have ordered salads from a number of places. There is a quick and easy pick up lane. I had a wonderful experience at this Newk's Eatery! Because of COVID-19, all employees wear masks, tables are specked out, and hand sanitizer provided throughout the restaurant. Their pizzas are the perfect size for one person. I had the Spicy Chicken Pizza, and they weren't kidding about being spicy! My wife had the Newk's Q Pizza and it was phenomenal! I had never been to a Newk's before so I wasn't sure what they served or what was good there but I was pleasantly surprised! I came a couple times while I stayed in the area and both times were great! I love the little condiment bar with pickles, roasted garlic, croutons, breadsticks, and so so much more that I can't remember. I wanted to get some of all of it! I ended up getting the ceasar with salmon and the turkey sandwich and both were really good and I would definitely recommend them. I had the Greek salad and all the servings were huge! The employees were very nice and the food came out very quickly. Very well paced environment and not too crowded and I loved the set up when you come in you order and sit down and they prepare the food for you in the back to bring in. I don't really have to make a long review about this. I ordered a caprese sandwich with grilled onion and avocado also a Greek salad with Caesar dressing. So a caprese sandwich is cold and I was so disappointed to get home and see my sandwich to tasted and cheese melted and avocado hot. Albany rudeness and indifference starting to creep into the cashier position . I knew it was only a matter of time . Food is still great but don't expect smiles at the front end . Two weeks in a row out of pepper jack soup without a change to the menu . Was really looking forward to it with a half sandwich. No " I'm sorry " , just " we changing seasons now " . Horrible service. Ordered two separate to go orders at the same time, receiver one within 15 minutes. The second one however, I had to ask about twice, spoke to the "manager," who told me I had to "wait for to go orders," after I received my first order. Hm. My food was brought out about 15 minutes after, making it about a 45 minute wait. Watched cooks and waiters stand around and the food bar get cleaned while I still didn't have food. Would've gone elsewhere if my grandmother didn't have to have food to take her medicine. Absolutely inexcusable that my food was either forgotten about or simply never made.
