Mellow Mushroom on Nottingham has got it going on. I absolutely loved my food and the staff was kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful. The vibes inside are nostalgic in the best way. Queen Dolly Parton on the wall, David Bowie, all of it creates such a good feeling the moment you sit down. The gentleman who seated me was incredibly nice. He walked me through their dairy free options, let me know they had vegan cheese, and reminded me to watch for the Parmesan that usually gets sprinkled on top of menu items. That was a life saver. I ordered a steak and cheese calzone with vegan cheese and it was a full 10 out of 10. I could not even finish it because the portion was huge. I absolutely recommend this spot to anyone looking for pizza and good vibes. It is one of those places that makes you feel taken care of from the moment you walk in. read more

Were seated right away on a Sunday about 1pm. Lively atmosphere. Went for some lunch. We all orered the clov9 garlic parmesian traditional wings. I also orered half order of the Greek salad with balsamic. I love a sweet and savory combo. Great portion. The wings were delicious! Great flavor, & saucy.Great size flats & drumetts. My husband and teenage son ordered a 10 piece. My husband had 4 drumetts leftover and my son fought to eat the last two. I ate all mine. Great family time read more

Stopped in for a beer and a snack before a dear friends funeral. My friends and I drove in from Jacksonville. We found 3 seats at the bar and meet the bartender Jessica. She was just the smiling face we needed! We ordered Bruschetta, Meatballs and Pretzel Bites. The beer selection was interesting and Jessica shared a few tastes of some we had never seen. The snacks were delicious, beer cold and Jessica was awesome! read more

I live in Milwaukee now (not sure if they have mellow Mushrooms in Wisconsin or the Midwest in general). The pizza and appetizers are consistently great. They have a fantastic drink menu. Something for everyone. Particularly nice beer options. The restaurant has a fun, casual, and energetic atmosphere. I went to the Mellow Mushroom as an undergrad at Univeristy of Georgia so I was very pleased to see on open up in Albany. The service, like the food, is excellent. Very attentive servers. When we went last night, they had a musician performing on the back patio. I appreciate that they provide entertainment like trivia and music for Albany. The owner, Lisa, is such a kind person. Always greats my family and checks-in on us. A great restaurant and bar option for this community! read more

This is the first time I have dined here in a while. I normally pickup and go. The service and pizza were great.

We are locals to this restaurant and frequent it maybe once or twice a month. We have become very appreciative of this restaurant and its family friendly environment and meal options. It also has a nice bar section inside and also screened in area where live music is played frequently. Food is always fresh and great. Service is almost always great and I appreciate the owner, who is seen moving about and checking in on customers. Highly recommended if you're looking for a great pizza. read more

The pizza slapped harder than my ex-wife. The servers and staff tonight (Ella in particular) helped squeeze my large party in despite it being packed and remained very calm and professional. 6/5 stars amazing! read more

Absolutely amazing experience! One of the best dining experiences I've had in Albany. Our server was wonderful and so kind, and he was always on it with the refills and memorized our whole order. The pretzel bites were amazing and so was the Greek Salad. The Funky Q Chicken pizza was also phenomenal. I'm so excited to return here. read more

They can do wings right and there appetizers are great but that is about it everything else they kinda just slap together no care it seems just burnt burgers obviously rushed pizzas and so on. the salads are good but hard to mess that up but seriously tho guys fast food places do better on presentation and taste. luckily the atmosphere makes up for the short comings read more

First time here since we are visiting from Cali. We ordered a Greek salad, Sriracha wings, pacific rim and house pizzas and a burger, everything was DELICIOUS!!! The restaurant and restrooms were super clean and we loved atmosphere , the music was very nice and our waitress was incredibly attentive checking on us all the time, I love her service. (Sorry I forgot her name but she had pretty nails with I think green leaves on it ) We are so coming back. Thank you read more

Friday afternoon. Service was really good. I just didn't care for the atmosphere or menu. They really push the alcohol. Menu for drinks is 2 pages. I ordered a calzone and it was mostly bread. Not appetizing. Most likely will not go back. read more

This was probably the worst experience we have ever had at a Mellow. Driving home from Alabama to Florida on a Sunday presents a definite eating issue. No restaurants are open on Sunday. What the heck??? We were starved by the time we found a restaurant we knew and though somewhat a chain, not like a greasy chain. The place was very busy... as again I guess every other restaurant in town is closed. The server was nice enough but I explained to her we were starved and asked if we could we get the appetizer ASAP. That was a joke. Our drinks took 20 minutes to arrive, 45 minutes in I was begging her for food and just as I expected by then, our appetizer and pizza came out at the same time. Ridiculous! In their defense they were busy, but please??? Again, worst Mellow Mushroom ever. read more

This place was slammed the Friday before Christmas, but the staff was extremely friendly and kept us updated on our to-go order while we waited. The restaurant is very eclectic, and the decor would be fun to sit and really enjoy. The pizza was some of the best we had enjoyed in a long time. We will definitely stop again the next time we visit. read more

The fact that the rating is 3.9 on here is ridiculous. This is one of those "chain restaurants" that stands up to local competition at its best. I have been here dozens of times over the years and it always delivers. Same owners and even some of the same friendly staff are always welcoming. With the unfortunate lack of unique pizza options in Albany, Mellow's is the best around. Large seating, outdoor options, everything is fairly quick. Being a "rock music" establishment, I would like to see more live rock music shows there...but that is my only suggestion. That and would love to see goat cheese as an added topping option. All in all, I hope this helps bring the rating back up. read more

Idk... This place has changed when we ate here in 2020. Their water tastes... nasty. Like they need to change the filter or clean the ice machine or something. The food is decent. I really like the dough of their pizza. But their dessert, definitely not worth what I paid for. The brownie was hard and the ice cream melted fast. Our server was awesome though. We had a huge party and he remembered everyone's order without having to write it down. We were seated fast and got our drink orders taken right away. The food came out quickly and we barely had to wait. Definitely one of the better pizza places out here so I highly recommend it! read more

This was the all time worst customer service from a manager. I ordered twice baked wings they came back as they were baked once. The manager came to the table and stated as she approached "yea" I looked as this is not how you approach customers. She began to explain that the wings come to them "Par" and then they baked them which makes them twice baked. ??? I only want them crispy. Instead of going back and forth with her. I requested a box not trusting them at this point. I ordered a Chocolate Martini. It' came back clear. I stated this isn't what I ordered I was then informed we used white chocolate?? I taste it it's no wear near the taste of a chocolate martini. They asked if I wanted something else. I ordered another drink. I later asked for the bill. The first drink was still on the bill. The waitress stated she couldn't take it off. She stated she was going to get the manager. Here comes bad attitude again. She stated "You ordered it and you got to pay for it because this is what a Chocolate martini looks like. I told her no ma'am. She stated I should have ordered a mudslide drink that's the only one that has chocolate in it. Her tone and demeanor was disgusting. Only gave 1 star because zero was not an option read more

Love this place!! They are the best establishment in southwest Georgia! They have an amazing variety of high quality menu items.

We love Mellow Mushroom, great food and great service. Wonderful for family celebrations.

What a great place! This time I was waited on by Garrett. He offered many suggestions from the wide selections of beers Mellow Mushroom has to offer. He was very fast, prompt, and courteous. One couldn't ask for better service. I started my evening with a small Greek Salad. All the veggies and cheese were crisp and fresh, just as expected. The salad was really quite flavorful and is a favorite of mine. I finished the evening off with a very delicious sausage, pepperoni, garlic, and mushroom medley pizza. The mushroom medley has 3 varieties of mushroom included with the one-mushroom order. Very-very delicious. There was also just the right amount of zesty pizza sauce. Not too much to over power and not too little to make it undetectable. I must mention that the owner, Ms. Lewis, is a real stand-up person. She goes above and beyond in trying to achieve customer satisfaction. I only wish that more establishments were run like this one. Thank you for everything, Mellow Mushroom! I will definitely be back. read more

Meh. I've had better pizza from Hunt Brothers. Atmosphere is loud and wait staff are preoccupied with posting FB photos. Go to Picnic Pizza.

Love the food .... Everything! The atmosphere is much too loud you can never hear your own conversation. They made a mistake on my pick up order of pizza and asked if I wanted to a new one , well no that's wasteful so I asked for the topping they left off on the side and I got it and left. I got a call from them apologizing for the mistake and was comped the bill ... wow that is service! read more

First day visiting Albany and I am very impressed with this small town with lots cute places like this one. We ordered the veggies pizza and had a couple of their local tasty beers. We are grateful to received a great service during our lunch time. Their local beer was super and their pizza was amazing with the most delicious crust I've ever had. Their pretzels with their beer cheese dip was amazing! I would come here just for those and would be satisfied. I've have been to other mellow mushroom places before but none compared to this visit. Everything was perfect, I highly recommend and would definitely come back for more. read more

So I was finally seated after 3 different people asked me if it was to go or dine in I said dine in each time and was finally seated by the third person. Let's be real we come here for the atmosphere more than anything else. Yes the pizza is good. Mellow, across the board, is consistent with it's pies no matter which location you're in. I appreciate the list of toppings and bread options as always. What's really impressive though is the beer list. Aside from the liquor store I can't think of another place with that many different beer choices. It's so nice to know that when I come home I can still have access to some of my favorite crafts. Have a seat on the patio! read more

I was in town for business and this happened to be right next door to my hotel. Maybe I caught them on a bad night but the pizza was something like you would throw in the microwave and add toppings to it. The beer on draft was very off, I guess I would compare it to maybe a flat soda. For my one small pizza it took nearly a full hour and the location did not appear to be particularly busy. The flies inside were EVERYWHERE, on the bar, on tables, near the pizza prep area. Should really invest in some air curtains for the outer doorways if they do not have them. The only good thing was the friendly bartender, who clearly had a lot on his plate. Despite his workload he remained friendly and engaged so that's a plus. read more
