The food is actually pretty good. Bad service today. Diner was not that busy and I waited and waited for my country fried steak and two eggs over easy. Finally, the waitress tells me that they were out of milk. Told her I wouldn't have ordered had she told me that in the beginning. Walked out feeling like I was ignored. The waitress was waiting on a couple who kept sending their dishes back. This is the second time they let me know they were out of milk. How do you eat breakfast without milk? read more

Took a short walk to 3 Squares from the Ford dealership while getting service done. Seemed like a good place to kill some time. 3 Squares reminds me of a reclaimed Waffle House building where the staff changed clothes, and stopped yelling orders across the restaurant! Went last nite and there were 3 folks sitting in booths. Waitress brought our water and left to help a call in who was more important and left with no tip. Still no service taking our order. Now they are filling up and 45 mins, later we had still not gotten our food. Guess the white folks do not matter any longer in the diner. We stopped going to the one on the bypass for poor service, one cook and call ins rate first. We left and will never go back. She lost my $5 tip and my business. One cook there and Waffle House has 2 or 3. They cannot handle the crowd read more

Food is only average and price is off the charts. Since they raised the prices, very little business and scrimp on servers. We use to go there a good bit, but I can get a good hamburger a lop cheaper. If you make an exception for anything, hashbrowns instead of fries 75 cents more. Resturant needs a new ceiling. The one in there is dirty, stained and falling in. The food quality has really gone down. Food not as good and cold or luke warm. Night (dinner) shift is horrible. Service is bad, food is bad. We are moving on to better grazing pastures. I understand some of the regulars are going elsewhere. If you have a child, this is not a place you want to go. Our daughter got sick at the table, which by itself is not a big deal. We cleaned up after her and chose to get our food to go since we were worried that she wasn't feeling well. However, between cleaning up after her and deciding what she would be able to eat, we were forced to deal with a waitress that came to the table every 30 seconds, rushing us and getting irritated that she had to wait to take our order. When we finally got our food, our biscuits and gravy had been spilled all over everything in the bag, there was no silverware, and our rude waitress rushed us out the door. Keep in mind that there were only two other customers in the entire restaurant. The only saving grace to this visit was the cook, who was extremely nice and came over to check on our daughter. I don't know when it became common practice to be rude and ugly to someone with a sick child, but 3 squares is right on point with the new rules. Maybe they will hire waitresses with more manners that don't treat people badly for circumstances beyond their control. A 3 year old has accidents, especially when they are sick. If you cannot understand this, and feel that it ruins your day, maybe you shouldn't work in an industry centered on customer service. And as a side note, since when does one biscuit and gravy and one grilled cheese with maybe 15 fries cost $15? Might be worth it somewhere else, but with employees like theirs, its outright robbery. read more
