Greatly enjoyed this solid spot in Downtown Albany. I commend their establishment. The Singfield…read morefamily has a great thing going here! We really enjoyed the ambiance and service. The food we got was solid. We were able to try a wide variety of menu items: the ribeye, fried catfish, fries, asparagus, mac n cheese, Caesar salad, pecan pie, and cookie skillet dessert. They were all great, but we have some favs we'd get again. Even though they're a "seafood place" we preferred the Ribeye! Tasty, tasty flavor and VERY generous portion. All of the sides were excellent. No notes. Then in terms of dessert, u strongly recommend the cookie skillet over the pecan pie. Sadly, we didn't care for the pecan dessert at all. It felt like it didn't have ANY pecan in it. Meanwhile, the cookie skillet was TO DIE FOR-- YUM!

I was by myself. The table was very sticky. It was "clean" and it was off putting. Had almost like a film on it Jordon arrived at the table not long after. She bright my Pepsi and took my order. Than I didn't see her for a while. My drink was empty for at least ten minutes. She brought my food and was walking away before I asked for a refill she wasn't very attentive. She may have had other tables, but I didn't see any. Burger and fries were delivered. Not sure if my food was waiting in the window for a bit but it didn't taste super fresh. Fries were fine at best and the burger was decent. Absolutely not worth $25. It was a $25 meal that was worth about $15 bucks. Had big hopes for this place. Left disappointed. Maybe thats why it wasn't so busy on a Tuesday night?

Friendly and helpful. I knew that I wanted the catfish but not sure of the sides. Tera went over every side for me. I settled on candid yams. As I waited for my catfish to be cooked, I looked over all the jersey memorabilia they had from various sports teams and fraternities. This place gets super busy I was told. Thursday nights they have karaoke starting at 5pm. My catfish order came out. It had buttery grilled toast as a side, topped with lettuce and tomatoes. I'm a southern girl, I only needed the Fish and bread. The fish was perfectly season. All I needed to add was some hot sauce. OH My Gosh- Delish As I say enjoying my meal, old school R&B was playing. I truly enjoyed the serenity of my dinner. I'll definitely be back when I'm in Albany GA in the near future.

The cooks, although I didn't get their names, my food was perfect, the pork chop, collard greens (bam)! I saw reviews about the french fry because they are cut and frozen. But the cooks knew how to season them perfectly. I don't know if it was the southern charm, or the southern hospitality of the staff, the DJ and the patrons, but we could not have picked a better place to celebrate this monumental quest. I'm so glad we made new friends. I WOULD RECOMMEND

The interior is nice for date night or drinks with friends. It's versatile in there. Our server:Taylor, was super cool, and attentive. The owner comes out and speaks to everyone, saying: "hey how's everyone doing tonight, I appreciate y'all coming in!" He does this to every table. That alone makes this one of the few places here in Albany with outstanding customer service. We had the brown sugar glazed salmon over rice, grits, mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts, hush puppies, and Wasabi Tuna The salmon was a bit dry, and a little small: not worth $33, I believe it was. The rice tasted like the boil in a bag minute rice. Mashed potatoes, grits, and Tuna were all pretty good. The Brussels sprouts were delish and so were the hush puppies! Overall the food was decent enough, but nothing fancy for the price. I'm sure there are other items on the menu worth the cost. Having said that; I'll recommend visiting this dining establishment:)

A quick glance at the menu showed crab claws, and that sold me immediately -- I love crab claws. When I arrived, the place was packed. I was told there'd be a 20-30 minute wait, which surprised me for Albany, GA. The host explained it was half-off oyster night, so I figured I'd hit the jackpot -- oysters and crab claws? Perfect. Unfortunately, the excitement faded a bit from there. They didn't offer chargrilled oysters, only baked with parmesan or raw. I went with a dozen baked oysters and an appetizer of crab claws. The crab claws came out first. They were small to medium in size and tasted fine overall -- nothing bad, just smaller than I expected for the price. Then the oysters arrived, and they were very small, smaller than my thumbnail, with no seasoning other than the cheese. Not impressive. I ordered another dozen hoping the first batch was a fluke, but the second dozen was even smaller. On the positive side, the staff was very friendly, and service was great. But the oyster size was easily the smallest I've ever been served at a restaurant. This was my first time in the area and my only visit, but based on the oysters alone, I wouldn't return.

Daniel was our server and did a very good job. I started with the Caesar Salad followed by Eggplant Parmigiano. The food was plentiful and actually too much for one sitting. The venue itself was quite busy for a Tuesday night. I would say it was a shade towards upscale with most of the clientele in business casual attire. They seemed to have a very nice wine selection as well. For dessert, we ordered the Lemon Ripieno which was served inside a carved out lemon. A bit icey, but still was tasty and refreshing.

I immediately loved the decor/the ambiance of the place. Very roomy, with a nice, relaxing lounge. There were eleven of us in our party. Though we did not have reservations, we were informed that we could be seated, but not until all of us arrived - which we did within 5 minutes of each other (were driving four different vehicles). When everyone was in place and we asked to be seated, we were then informed that there may be a problem seating all of us?!? Of course, we were a bit perplexed due to what we were told less than ten minutes earlier. We thought we would have to call the manager over, but another hostess asked us to give her a few minutes and she'd get us set up. Yay! Other then this little "fiasco," we had a great time. Our server was on point, and our food orders came in a timely manner. The complimentary bread and the dipping sauce was delish! A couple of us ordered the fried calamari for an appetizer, and there was also an order of stuffed mushrooms (which weren't a big hit). I ordered a side Caesar salad, along with the eggplant parmigiano which was delicious but not as "tender" as I would have expected. I basically had to use a steak knife to cut it, but other than that, it was tasty. :o) Others in our party ordered salmon, chicken parmigiana, lasagna, manicotti, and pepperoni pizza. Overall, we had an enjoyable dining experience; it was just really nice for us all to get together and share a meal in a nice restaurant. I will definitely plan to visit again when back in the area. Hopefully there won't be a problem with the seating.
