Particularly at Harvest Moon/ back then it was downtown in an old department store. Amazing food and bands and youthful antics! It's very, very different from what it once was. Back then. Many years have pasted since the restaurant moved closer to Whispering Pines and the Westover-ish area. The food is good. Pizza, calzones, salads, and assorted appetizers. The draft and bottle/can beer selection is appropriate for Albany. Or what you would except. Our waitress was very efficient, engaging, kind, and friendly. I appreciate her excellent customer service. Harvest Moon is obviously a place to be in Albany. The options are limited . I no longer live here, but it's easy to see that it is so much a local bar scene where everyone knows everyone. Edit: I don't understand not having an updated draft, bottle, canned beer list along with the food menu. Not asking for updates every day but it's nice to know what is and isn't available. Or to have only your server's memory to provide any information.

When I got there no one was on the phone so it was my turn to order I took my cell phone dialed the business number and put it on speaker and told the cashier that the phone is off the hook and put my speaker food on so she can't deny it, so apparently they tale the phone off the hook to avoid taking to go orders. I called them at least 15 times during the course of my 20 drive to the restaurant. Then I tell them the phone off the hook they just looks at me. They didn't apologize or even come up with some lame ass excuse!!!! Then I noticed they was having issues with the credit card machine ( as usual) so I asked before I ordered. The cook was like "yeah it's tripping right now" I turned around and walk way. Went down the street to Good Times. I received better service, good food at a cheaper price! I supported Kings Diner for a long time, 2 years or more but they've lost my business permanently. The food is good but the service is horrible so that makes it all NOT WORTH IT! Even the cashier at Good Times said verbatim " The service at Kings Diner is horrible". I personally think the owner or management need to fire all those ghetto hood rats and get New help. Horrible services is a business killer. Really my experience they deserve 1 Star the ONLY reason why they have 2 Stars is because the food is good

Huge displays of out of date product. It had been out of date since January 2025. I was visiting in August 2025. They have a known habit of taking bad meat and covering it in butt rubb before rewrapping it. The management in store is also very very poor. The country store road location posted a hiring sign, I called and was told over the phone "OK call me Monday and we will get you in the system and go from there", then the manager blocked my number and ghosted me. I have 24 years of experience in grocery stores specifically, so their is definitely something not kosher in why he suddenly changed his mind, especially given his comments about "the kind of people who work at Pic N Sav." (my previous employer) Not a healthy attitude to have as a supposed member of leadership, and telling about why mike's is in such bad shape that Mike Rogers has tried to sell two of his stores in the last year to his competition.
