Bridal Suite + Gown

You drive up through these gates that lead you up into the mansion. Guest parking is to the right and left and the driveway is in a dirt parking lot. The mansion has an eerie victorian vibe to it. I came here for a fall wedding to which my besties were getting married. The ceremony took place on a hill in the backyard as you walk up some stairs to get to it. The reception was on the side of the house in a large patio area that had string lights, tables and a bar in the gazebo. Before the ceremony started I was able to walk the halls of this mansion. Lots of stairs everywhere. We had to go up three flights or stairs to get to the bridal suite aka the honeymoon suite that was on its own level, no other rooms up top. It had a seating area, the bedroom a small bathroom and a living room with a small kitchen area and lots of doors that lead you back into the hallway. The second floor was all guest rooms and the bottom floor was the living, dining, kitchen with another room down below. The bridal party stayed the night there as you can rent out the rooms. I left when the wedding was over but it was a magical night full of love and happiness!

Newhall Mansion was our DREAM wedding venue. Even through a couple of rescheduling dates on our end during COVID, the mansion was 100% worth the wait. Let's start with staying there. All the rooms are amazing in their own way, and they have all the amenities you need in a great hotel. The mansion is so huge that when everyone got to their rooms, we started to lose track of where people were! On Friday, we hung out in the pool after we arrived, and we hosted a taco cart at the mansion for a casual rehearsal dinner. Guests at the rehearsal were so impressed, and it made things so stress-free to just stay in one location the whole time. The wedding on Saturday went so well. Not having to go anywhere on our day made the day feel very relaxed. The mansion has nonstop locations for lounging and getting ready. The girls got ready upstairs in the bridal suite and the guys got ready in the tavern basement. The mansion is full of so many great spots both inside and outside to take photos, and it was great that parents and others could show up whenever to help out and they had plenty of places to get ready as well. The event was everything we could've dreamed of. For catering, we used the Newhall Mansion catering and we had multiple guests tell us how good the food was. Everyone loved the appetizers, in particular the mini grilled cheese with tomato soup shooters and the chicken and waffles. Family style dinner was awesome, because everyone got tons of food, and we had some of the most well-cooked salmon and steak we've ever had at an event. After the wedding, we hung out in the tavern with our whole wedding party. And the next morning, we made a big breakfast in the kitchen, so out of town family and friends could stop over to say goodbye on their way to the airport. The mansion staff were nothing but friendly, helpful and awesome the whole weekend. They made everything really great. Truly a world class team and we are so grateful they helped make our whole weekend amazing.

This place was perfect from the moment we walked in, bellied up to the bar and Holly made us the perfect drink based off our vibes. We went through the ringer, having to postpone our wedding date in 2020 because of COVID, so we spent 2 years working with Adam and this venue. They were nothing short of amazing and wonderful. We had our dream wedding in an even more dreamy setting and we couldn't have done it without them. Our guests are still raving about the fabulous weekend. We booked an extra day - checked out Monday instead of Sunday and had a pool party/bbq for our bridal parties. It was the perfect ending and a nice time where we got to spend quality time with people that traveled near and far during an ongoing pandemic to celebrate with us.

What a beautiful location! We attended a wedding here and everything was so well done. The house was beautiful, the grounds were gorgeous and well maintained, and the food was delicious too. Wish i could have yaken the polenta with mushroom dish home with me! Only reason for 4 stars is that there was horrible music playing super loud from a near by neighborhood that was a distraction during the wedding.

My husband and I were married here in May, 2019 and we could not be happier with our experience. First of all, the venue is spectacularly beautiful and it is so nice to be able to keep your members of the bridal party or immediate family with you at the venue for the whole weekend. Adam is super responsive to emails and calls, so even if you get your pre-wedding jitters/ anxiety and want to get an answer to your questions like YESTERDAY, you never have to wait very long for him to get back to you. He definitely has a ton of experience working with brides, grooms and family. When you book the Newhall Mansion you have the option to hire their chef, Theresa for a rate that is decidedly lower than what you would pay for anybody else of her skill level. If you book your wedding here, do yourself a favor and book Theresa. I did not get around to posting a review for several months and still, after going on 2 years, I still get comments all the time on how amazing the food at my wedding was. At first glance when researching this venue, the price seems a little high, but don't be put off by sticker shock. My best friend was planning her wedding at the same time as me, and fortunately she pointed out that for the price of the venue we got so many other things that would normally be paid for individually (lighting / seating / linens / accommodations / venue for rehearsal dinner / etc.). She was right, I ended up spending below my budget for my wedding and I was not stressed out at all toward the last weeks of planning because Newhall Mansion also includes a coordinator with a booking. This venue is a great deal and makes for the perfect fairy tale wedding venue. My husband and I could not have been happier.

As a photographer I can tell you this place is an amazing place to get married. We have seen hundreds of venues and my daughter was dead set that she wanted to have her wedding there. The light is magical and is perfect in regards to photography. Your ceremony will be back light which just looks ANGELIC! You definitely want to check out this wedding venue! It is not only beautiful but unique! Hope to shoot another wedding there soon!!!!

Hidden gem, it is! My friend just got married here and it's such a beautiful venue and everyone is friendly and helpful. Love this place, makes you feel love is in the air!

My husband and I got married here last weekend and it was absolutely perfect. Adam the manager answers every question you can think of. The grounds are gorgeous and their catering staff is amazing. All of our guests raved about the food, they had plenty to eat. The wait staff was always attentive to guest needs.

Connected to bridal suite. Large enough for 7 of us to get our hair and makeup done

My family flew to California from Florida for my sisters wedding. We all stayed at the mansion for three nights. My bed was so comfortable, I'm not sure if I was just exhausted from the daily activities but I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow. Once we closed our door all sounds went away, which was GREAT, there were 15 of us and we can get a little loud. We had absolutely no problem with WiFi or any of the other amenities. The staff was supper friendly and very low key, didn't realize they were there. We all had a great time.

We've been here recently to attend a wedding. The place is 40 minutes away from LA, if the traffic is good. It's situated in a remote, secluded spot, passing through the small downtown Piru. The actual mansion has a nice history behind it, it's very well maintained and it can also accommodate overnight guests (could be part of the package). If you need to see the venue for a wedding or other event, you need to call ahead, the place isn't always opened. There are nice views of the hills around, the property isn't huge, but it's nice, full of lemon trees and pomegranate trees, with lots of fruit. There's a nice lawn with chairs set up for an outdoor ceremony, near the pomegranate trees, there's a nice pool, an area to have an afternoon cocktail and cute gardens. The wedding we attended was set all outdoors on a nice, balmy October afternoon. So, the place was charming all around with cute string lights hanging above. It could be a bit tricky to find it. You drive for a while on 126 (left on it) and wonder if you missed the right on Center St. You could, it comes all of a sudden, there's a small sign, so pay attention. I wish this place had more restrooms, although the interior is nice, old fashioned, in a fun way, great to start a conversation while waiting in line. To get inside, somebody has to open the gates, we had to wait for that to happen a bit too long at our arrival and at our departure, although in both cases we weren't the first or the last ones coming or leaving. Also, they need to have more lights in their parking lot, we had a hard time finding the lot, finding our car, it was too dark. Horror movies level- too dark, luckily no spooky creatures were around. Other than that, cute, charming place, perfect for a nice event, in a remote setting, surrounded by hills.

Let me just start by saying we spent 2 years planning our Wedding Day only for COVID to hit. We ended up postponing for a year and just had our Day May 1, 2021. Adam and the entire crew were so incredible to work with in general but especially in dealing with everything COVID. I can say that if this Venue fits your vision for your Wedding Day it is 100% worth every penny. We had an insanely perfect day thanks to everyone. I first loved and booked the Mansion due to the fact that it's gorgeous but I also loved that I had complete control over who I booked for my venders. Small shout out to The Tap Truck SB (alcohol), Pixels and Prints Imagery, Billy at Ohwattanight (Photobooth), Desert Rose Florals, Tricia Dahlgren Events, Astra Kelly (Live Music), Blissfully Borrowed (Arch) and Lucille's Catering. Every one of these people were incredible and I highly recommend!

The staff was very helpful in making sure everything went perfectly for their special day, from the moment they reserved the date all the way to the end of the event. I would suggest having an in person tour before you book since even though they go for a farms house style, it's very new and modern. There's plenty of parking, enough for most sizes of weddings imo. The area around the place is also very private and very good for everyone to have a good time. The overall experience was very good and I would recommend it to most people looking to have a wedding or other events.

If I could pick just one word to describe The Vineyards and our wedding day? Magical. I had…read moretoured many venues in the Ventura County area, but none of them struck me the way The Vineyards did. I had a really good feeling upon pulling up to the venue, as it was clear there was ample parking. Not only that, but the greenery is well maintained and it looks absolutely stunning. It's easy to see from any of the photos, but being there in person just doesn't do it all justice. Every corner of the venue is well thought out and beautiful. The lights and greenery that make up the archways just gave the place an enchanting feel. THE VENUE/PLANNING: I knew I wanted a "garden" feel for my wedding and having attended 2 weddings leading up to my own, those experiences guided some of the more practical criteria I was looking for in a venue: -indoor/outdoor options for weather consideration -More than 2 bathrooms/toilets -Getting ready area for groom (in a lot of venues, there's some kind of bridal suite, but Groom facilities are more hit and miss) -photo op areas (plentiful!) -Large parking lot The Vineyards easily met all of these parameters and more. Aside from the above, I do want to note the HUGE bridal suite area with couches, tables and its own bathroom. I did not have a bridal party, but this can easily accommodate 15+ people. There were also 2 "ceremony" location options to choose from (garden or waterwall), and distinct areas for the cocktail and reception. There are so many little photo op nooks around the grounds that your guests can walk around during cocktail hour and enjoy the vibes. In the planning months leading up to our wedding day, The Vineyards was always very flexible and accommodating. They have a portal system which keeps all the important information in one place, in terms of information that they need, deadlines, correspondence, food choices, etc. Our wedding was in February 2026, definitely with the potential for rain. The venue (and all my vendors) were right there with me tracking the weather to see how it would play out. Luckily, it did not rain (down-poured the next day though!), and we were able to keep the ceremony in the Garden area. They did have options available to move the ceremony inside in case it were to have rained, and they went over a few details in preparation just in case. As other reviews have said, they offer a "Vendor Package" which I highly recommend. There are multiple vendor options within each category, but it is a huge perk that these vendors have the familiarity already, and really know where things are at the venue. I was very happy with all the vendors I chose; I'm sure you can't go wrong with any of them. THE STAFF: We met with Shadi, who first toured us around the venue. She is super sweet and very personable. She gave us a lot of detailed information and answered all the questions we had. We had even asked to tour the venue at night and she absolutely accommodated us, and turned on all the features so we could really get an idea of what it would all look like. Everything there is even more stunning at night, when all the lights are on. Shadi ended up going on maternity leave before our wedding and we were helped by Soroor and Jim, who were also incredibly helpful in all the questions that I had. Soroor was there the day of as well and helped me with my outfit right before the ceremony started. Jim was also there in the morning to help with a few setup items. Deana was our coordinator for the day and she is an absolute ROCKSTAR! We briefly met her during the food tasting, but we really got to see her in action at our rehearsal. I could tell immediately that she is someone that is incredibly organized, detail oriented and absolutely knows what she's doing. She is always thinking of the couple and doesn't make you feel like you're just another number. She was with us every step of the way from the start of the ceremony, making sure we had food and drinks during break times, keeping us on schedule with wherever we needed to be, handling and corralling difficult family with grace, and just generally checking in with us and how we were doing throughout the evening. It can be an overwhelming day, but it really does fly by, and having her there to guide us through it all is a big reason for why our wedding went as well as it did. We couldn't imagine having a different coordinator to keep us comfortable & stable. She made us feel that if anything were to have happened, we would be able to deal with it, no problem. We interacted with some of the wait staff during the Food Tasting as well, and not so much on our actual wedding day, but I received good feedback from our guests that all were attentive, friendly and professional. I genuinely feel that the team at The Vineyards really does care about making your day the best it can possibly be. I know that my wedding would not have turned out as amazing as it did, if I had had it at

We were checking out their collection of exotic birds at the time. We tried to take our granddaughter somewhat recently and caught them on a day when they were hosting an event, so we didn't stay. Thankfully, the Camarillo Garden Tour featured this charming venue as one of their featured gardens in this year's event. It was fascinating to see how the property has evolved since we last spent time there. They have definitely made their primary space into a wedding venue haven with multiple garden "rooms", and a gathering space with dance floor and refreshments areas for the reception part of the special occasion. There is a small formal rose garden near the entrance for a welcoming space. The parrots and other tropical birds are no longer there, which is a shame from our perspective. I can imagine that they might be distracting for the wedding events, so there is a sense to moving on with retiring that aspect of the gardens. The owners were very gracious to have their lovely place serve as the spot where refreshments were served as part of the tour, plus the opportunity drawing prizes were displayed there, a small boutique, and a live band played to entertain the garden tour guests. We enjoyed lingering for a while. We also explored all of the main areas of the property. Delightful! The gardens have matured beautifully over the years, and the added artistic touches of lighting, stamped pathways with leaf shapes, and other charming elements speak well of the creative vision that brought this space to life.

From the beginning, we were given verbal assurances that the event would go until at least midnight. Based on that understanding, we planned our entire wedding timeline, music, and flow of the evening. However, on the actual night of the wedding, the staff abruptly shut down the music at 10:30 PM -- cutting the celebration short with no flexibility or consideration. When we tried to address this, they pointed to fine print buried deep within a long, 10-page contract -- something that was never clearly explained or emphasized beforehand. Instead of working with us or honoring what was discussed, they relied on technicalities to justify ending the night early. It felt misleading and unprofessional. A wedding venue should prioritize clear communication and delivering on expectations, not hiding behind small print after the fact. The way this was handled left us stressed and frustrated on a night that should have been joyful and memorable for the right reasons. I would strongly advise future couples to be extremely cautious, go over every single detail in writing, and not rely on verbal promises -- because our experience showed that those promises may not be honored.
