THE VINEYARDS IS A DREAM! It's hard to put into words what to write to a team and a venue that made the most important day of our lives truly magical. From the very beginning, meeting Shadi was an absolute blessing. She was beyond kind, so friendly, and incredibly flexible with my hectic work schedule. No matter how crazy things got, she always accommodated me with such grace and never once made me feel bad about it. I knew right away that Shadi was a rare find--a diamond in the rough who genuinely cares for her clients. When I finally visited The Vineyards, I was absolutely speechless. This place is a hidden gem nestled in Simi Valley, and it's so much more than just a wedding venue--it's a sanctuary. The landscaping is impeccable, the flowers they grow are breathtaking, and the décor is unique, elegant, and tasteful. As soon as I stepped inside, I was overwhelmed. The chandelier ceilings, the stunning water wall, and the soft, glowing lights--it felt like stepping into a dream, straight out of a fairy tale. Every corner of The Vineyards radiates love, care, and magic. We were fortunate enough to have two beautiful ceremony options, both equally stunning and unique. From the moment we saw the venue and met Shadi, Soroor, and Jimmy, we were hooked. The connection we felt with them was immediate--they became like family to us, and we knew we had found the perfect place for our big day. Wedding planning can feel daunting, but Shadi and her family made the entire experience exciting and joyful. Every conversation was filled with enthusiasm, support, and ideas that empowered us to bring our dream day to life. They made us feel like we were in the best hands from the start, and we never felt overwhelmed--just excited for what was to come. Writing this review brings tears to my eyes because I can honestly say that this was hands down the best wedding planning experience I could have ever hoped for. My husband and I got married last weekend, and I've been eagerly waiting to share my gratitude because Shadi and her family have truly touched our hearts in ways I can't even describe. Shadi and her family are unlike anyone I've ever met. They are the most caring, generous, and accommodating people. They make you feel so special--never just another couple on their list--but like you're part of their family. Every interaction with Shadi felt personal, warm, and filled with love. She was always available, responded promptly, and offered invaluable ideas and suggestions that made the entire wedding planning process so much easier and more enjoyable. Shadi truly empowered me to bring my vision to life, helping me feel that everything was falling into place for what was going to be the most magical day of my life. And, of course, it was everything I had dreamed of and more. The day before the wedding, Shadi and her team went through every detail with me, making sure we had everything in place. On the big day, Deane, our coordinator, was there to seamlessly guide us through everything. The bridal suite and groom's suite are massive and perfect in every way. The lighting is just right, making them ideal for photos and video--every detail is thought of. On the day of the wedding, Shadi was incredibly helpful with my photo and video team, suggesting the best areas to shoot my wedding elements, like my dress and the perfect locations for photos. She is so in tune with this venue, and that made everything flow seamlessly. Shadi even showed up with cookies, ready to help bustle my dress when we were running behind. She and her team were there, making sure we had everything we needed--including food during the dinner hour and packing leftovers so I had something to eat later. She made sure my whole family was taken care of and felt like they were part of the Vineyards' family, too. And let me just say, the food is OUT OF THIS WORLD! As a producer who works in the culinary space, I can confidently say that the food at The Vineyards is truly mind-blowing. Every bite was delicious, and we received so many compliments from our guests. If you care about great food, this venue is a must. Shadi and her family's kindness and generosity never stopped. They went above and beyond in every way, and that's exactly the kind of experience you want. You will be so lucky to have this team and venue as part of your wedding day. They continually plant new flowers, add thoughtful touches to the grounds, and you can feel the love and care in every inch of the venue. As we say goodbye to this chapter, my heart is full of gratitude for everything The Vineyards, Shadi, Soroor, and Jimmy did for us. There are no words to express how thankful we are. If you're lucky enough to book with them, you won't just have a wedding--you'll have an experience that feels like home, a magical day that will live in your heart forever. You won't be disappointed.

We had our wedding at The Vineyards in mid-August 2024. From the initial venue search to the end of our wedding night, everything was well executed, and the entire team was fantastic to work with! We booked a year in advance, and although our initial wedding date was taken due to our extended decision-making, we found another date that worked. This just shows how quickly they book up! We chose The Vineyards because of their inclusive vendor package, which made planning so easy. I'm not one for extensive planning and research, especially with a full-time job, so the option to pay a bit more and have the cake, DJ, photographer, and florist included was perfect! They also provided a list of vendors for each category, and I was very pleased with both their options and our selections. However, the main reason we chose The Vineyards was that when we toured with Soroor, it felt personal. We didn't feel like just another transaction or a quick tour they had to get through on a busy weekend. After we signed our agreement, Shadi and Soroor were there to answer all my questions for the year leading up to the wedding. I never once felt alone or clueless during the planning process. Every time we saw them in person, they were the kindest and happiest individuals. Fast forward to the day before and the day of our wedding-- we met with Deana, one of our day-of coordinators, and she was an absolute delight to work with! Leading up to the wedding, I warned Deana that my husband had never attended a wedding before. She was great at reminding us of everything we needed to do, where to be, and what to look out for. For example, for the garter toss, I didn't think to prepare my husband-- it seemed pretty self-explanatory. However, he walked out spinning his suit jacket in the air and tried to grab the garter with his mouth! I was hysterical because I had no idea where he got that idea from. He later told me Deana had walked him through what to do. Deana also made a conscious effort to remind my dad several times to watch my dress and train after he handed me off during the ceremony, but he still ended up tripping and stepping on it. It was a good laugh, and afterward, we joked with Deana about how he still couldn't get it right despite her reminders! Later in the evening, I realized I had forgotten to put on my garter. At that point, I was a bit tipsy, and Deana came up and asked if I had it on. I admitted I'd forgotten but said I could go upstairs and find it-- though I had no idea where I'd left it! Deana insisted that I stay at the reception, and she sent Shadi to look for it. I was ready to skip the garter toss entirely, but they found it and helped me put it on-- mission accomplished! Words can't express how impressed we were with everyone at The Vineyards, including the reception staff, who ensured our drinks were always refilled and plates were cleared. At the end of our wedding night, my husband and I both said the wedding exceeded our expectations and everything was perfect. We had a blast, and we owe it all to the incredible team at The Vineyards. I'm sad that I won't be in contact with such joyous individuals anymore, but I would recommend them to anyone. Also, the venue was a huge hit, and everyone loved how spacious the location was!

Dear The Vineyards - Simi Valley Team, Thank you so much for a wonderful winter holiday party! Our team absolutely loved every minute of it. The professionalism of each of your staff members was off the charts - so kind and helpful in all interactions. The food was delicious! Everything was great - the potatoes were especially amazing. We really appreciated how you labeled the different food items so that our vegan guests could easily enjoy so much as well. We received so many complementary remarks from the attendees! Quite a few even said it was the best holiday party ever. Deana, James and the whole team were especially accommodating to all of our requests. We felt the cost was extremely reasonable, especially given the wonderful quality of the entire party and the generous number of staff present. We hope to be able to celebrate with your organization again in the future.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this amazing place! It was the perfect blend of a spacious yet private setting as our wedding was close to 200 people but still felt so intimate. The venue itself is beautiful, fun, and so well thought-out leading from the ceremony site to the cocktail area to the reception hall with a perfect flow. There's also so many great places for photos and the guests loved how cozy but spacious it was. The food and drinks were also fantastic and the food tasting day they had was so much fun to try everything and pick out our linens and details! But the absolute highlight of the Vineyards is the team led by Shadi, Soroor, and Jimmy who took the time to listen and help plan and adjust our day to exactly how we wanted! They were so flexible and accommodating to our desires and the attention to detail during planning led to an absolutely flawless day. The vendor package they offered made picking our DJ, photographer, florist, and cake SO much easier. As a type A person, I could not have imagined a better day! Shout out to Deena as our wedding coordinator too! If you're searching for a wedding venue that provides a large but intimate space, amazing and personalized planning, The Vineyards truly is a hidden gem in the Valley. Thank you so much for making my day so perfect!

I probably could have written this review the day I stepped through the front doors of The Vineyards and met Angel, Soroor, Shadi, and Jimmy. My fiancée and now wife, Danielle G., and I stumbled upon this place by pure accident thinking we were going to meet wedding vendors at their open house. We were a little confused to find zero vendors inside and then greeted by Angel, who with a smile said, "Hello and welcome to our family!" Danielle G. and I looked at each other confused and chuckled at the family comment. Not knowing how true that statement would eventually be. The open house was actually for the venue itself, so we ended up touring their facility and instantly fell in love with the venue. The venue offers stunning views of the mountains, a large ballroom, a cocktail area with a bar, and plenty of seating, the patio area also has plenty of seating and a waterfall that flows down the side of the building. In fact, there are waterfalls all over the property, and the sound of running water makes for a soothing experience. They have a total of 3 ceremony areas, 1 indoors and 2 outdoors, depending on what the couple prefers. These are just a few of the amenities the vineyards have to offer. The place was absolutely beautiful and too good to be true. and we were every bit nervous to even talk about the cost after touring the venue. Talking to Soroor and her family eased our thoughts on having our wedding at the Vineyards. They offered many packages and were flexible in working within our budget. The inclusive package included food, DJ, flowers, a photographer, and cake. All of these vendors that the family has a close working relationship with. On top of the packages, Soroor also told us not to worry about a wedding coordinator, and for some reason we obliged. Who better to know about the venue than the owner and her staff? Throughout the months of planning, we stayed in close contact with the Vineyards and they kept us on schedule every step of the way. We attended their Thursday lounge nights to get a vibe of our venue-to-be, ate some of the food from their in-house catering chef, and danced the night away with a preview of our DJ, DJ Kamayo. The food tasting hosted once or twice a year was the absolute best. We got to sample everything off their menu and select what we wanted for our wedding day. On the day of the wedding, everything went smoothly and we had zero regrets about not hiring a separate wedding coordinator. Gina, took care of all of our needs that day and was on top of everything on schedule. Angel was right the day we stepped through the doors of the Vineyards, we became more than friends, we are truly part of the Vineyards family. It's been a few years since our wedding day, but my family and I love going to their Thursday Lounge nights to reconnect. Thank you Vineyards for our beautiful wedding day we truly can't thank you enough. This review was long overdue but one of the few ways we can repay for an unforgettable night. Hope to see you all soon!

We had the most amazing experience planning and executing our daughter's event at The Vineyards. We hadn't planned any events since our wedding 15 years ago so we needed guidance and clarity and they exceeded our expectations in every way. The venue is naturally gorgeous, the grounds are lovely. The interior is already decorated so beautifully that we only had our small themed touches needed to be added to make it perfect. We primarily worked with Shadi, who made everything so easy for us! we absolutely would recommend working with this team and this venue to anybody who wants to have a great experience and a beautiful event!

From the beginning, we were given verbal assurances that the event would go until at least midnight. Based on that understanding, we planned our entire wedding timeline, music, and flow of the evening. However, on the actual night of the wedding, the staff abruptly shut down the music at 10:30 PM -- cutting the celebration short with no flexibility or consideration. When we tried to address this, they pointed to fine print buried deep within a long, 10-page contract -- something that was never clearly explained or emphasized beforehand. Instead of working with us or honoring what was discussed, they relied on technicalities to justify ending the night early. It felt misleading and unprofessional. A wedding venue should prioritize clear communication and delivering on expectations, not hiding behind small print after the fact. The way this was handled left us stressed and frustrated on a night that should have been joyful and memorable for the right reasons. I would strongly advise future couples to be extremely cautious, go over every single detail in writing, and not rely on verbal promises -- because our experience showed that those promises may not be honored.

Ask any DJ about the location (Unless they are employed by 3 Little Birds Event Planning) and they will tell you the truth. 5-10 years ago, they started making DJs put the speakers inside the house and since all the events are outside you can only imagine how bad that sounded. 10 Years ago, I opened the windows of the house and aimed my speakers out the windows and sort of limped thru my party, I hated it and swore to never have me or my guys ever return. Of course, years go by and we had a client who really wanted to use me and said they were having the party at the Orcutt Ranch, and I WARNED THEM about the speaker situation. They understood the risk "but they wanted pretty" and against my better judgement & the damn money I agreed. Nothing was on my radar prior to the wedding except maybe a couple of weird emails with 3 Little Birds event planning, until the DAY I show up. The new rule is not only do the speakers have to be in the house but they must be turned facing in to the WALLS... again everyone is outside in November...WTF! Then they wanted me to sign a sound agreement on the day of the party. When I wouldn't sign it, they brought in the 2 security guards and said if I didn't sign it, I would be escorted off the premise (5 minutes before my Grand Entrance of the wedding couple). I still wouldn't sign it until I knew that the bride and groom were aware of this situation with the speakers. But what could they do ... guests were already sitting down for dinner and they said they understood and this "Diva DJ" signed the agreement with 2 hulks looking over my shoulder. I was not pissed for the humiliation; I was pissed for the guests and my client. I made it thru the party (it sounded like crap) and dealt with the bad vibes all night long and went home and cashed the $2800.00 check. That was 2 years ago and I would have let it go, but some unaware bride just called and said their venue was Orcutt ranch and it all came flooding back after I warned them. The location is dingy, with Navajo Swastikas all over the place but they get you in with the low price and because it's in a very pretty woodsy location your overlook much of the warnings you feel. But they must not be telling the truth about the music in the presentation. The truth is new houses are being built closer to the ranch and they are having sound ordinance problems but they still want the money... hence the dilemma. "Should we tell our couples the truth or just hijack them on their most special day?" SHAME. If you want a dinner party or a garden wedding with no music, (maybe a harp or violin) then perfect. But if you want a real American "have a damn good time" Wedding, avoid this so-called gem because the gem you're getting is called coprolite (Petrified Feces).

Everything looked so lovely and perfectly in line with what we wanted! I would absolutely recommend her for any wedding or event. Rachel, thank you so much again for your help in bringing our dream wedding to life! It was such a pleasure working with you!

The lack of daily service significantly diminished our comfort. Our single bar of soap had disintegrated, leaving us without enough for basic handwashing. We also ran out of clean glasses and had to request replacements from the front desk. The staff member's reaction when we asked for four glasses was less than welcoming. In addition, both trash cans were overflowing, and I even had to replace the toilet paper roll myself--something I've never had to do at a Marriott property. Overall, we paid over $500 for our two-night stay and felt that all we received was a bed and a set of towels. Even small touches, like complimentary water, were inconsistently offered to guests.

They said they'd happily accommodate us and that an attendant would be at the front desk to help us check in and get into our room as soon as possible. When we arrived at 11:40pm, the attendant did not know how to use the computer to check us in and it ended up taking 17 minutes to check us in. I don't know if it was the system or the attendant but this took way too long, regardless. Having two children who are exhausted and waiting for their bed wait that long was unacceptable. I worked at a hotel during college so I know what the standard is for most hotels. Then we got to our room and my son pulled back the sheets to find chips all over the place. This made me worry that someone else had been in this bed and it was not fully clean! At the rate we paid, this should not have happened. I would've been fired if a room had this much of a chip mess in the bed! There was also black hair in the bathroom. Just a really unclean hotel. It looks really nice from afar, and from all of the professional pictures that are featured on their website but it's not. I tried to reach out to management to see if there could be an explanation for this mess of a room, but all the manager did was say he was sorry. We will not be coming back.
