I left that expo with her contact information and emailed her October 2019 to start the Honeymoon planning. Kim is a miracle worker! She had immediate comparable side by side cruise quotes for our destination, Tahiti. She took every idea I had and put it into our travel plan. She thought of everything from timing, transfers, air and hotel. Come 2020, Covid-19 hit and we decided to postpone our wedding along with our honeymoon. Kim made it so easy and simple to re-book our honeymoon in 2021. Along the way, our chosen cruise line canceled our trip so Kim had to start from scratch but she was so quick to react. She has about a 24 hour turnaround time! She keeps me in communication the entire time, we call, text and email. Fast forward to October 26, 2021, my husband and I go off on our honeymoon. It was everything I imagined and more. Thanks to Kim! Kim took my idea, and ran with it. She delivered and exceeded my expectations! We already booked another trip for October 2022 for our one year anniversary. I bet my money it will be just as amazing, if not, better! Kim, there will never be enough "thank you's" but THANK YOU! You gave me my dream honeymoon and for that I am eternally grateful. Use Kim for your travel plans! You will not be disappointed.

While Kim had strong connections to Sandals, we ultimately decided to go with a non-resort wedding. With nearly 100 guests in attendance, Kim was the main point of contact for hotels, transportation to and from the airport, as well as tours. A great thing about working with Kim is the ability to reserve activities in advance using credit cards and giving guest the ability to pay over time for those who needed it vs. wiring cash overseas. Regarding the wedding, during the planning period, Kim was the main communicator to the Chef, and did great in conveying what was most important to us. Ex: a full dessert bar was a MUST - see photo:) This also included gathering quotes before we ultimately decided to go with Chef Manuele Fratini. My wife raves about Kim being so warm and bubbly over the phone and making her feel like she really cared. From the emotional rollercoaster, the stresses and the joys, Kim was there for all of it working with our WP and was a trooper through it all. We're grateful for all of her efforts in being a part of our special day - my wife and I made a lifelong friend. Thank you Kim! Love, The Bride & Groom

I was super excited when I found this place on Airbnb and it was priced perfectly for my needs. I couldn't believe I got my own private patio, a firepit, big bed, bathtub and basically every small detail I could think of for that price. Wow. There was even a cute basket of art supplies in the closet, and a fresh eye mask next to the bed. I felt seen, like someone got what I actually need on a vacation. This place is a gem, I wanted to leave them a review through Airbnb but I got so caught up moving to the area I missed my chance to leave a review there. Cherry and Matt are wonderful hosts, they even set me up with a cute basket of snacks on my arrival. I am recommending all my friends to come stay here when they visit me now.

Best Property Management in Ventura County - Kristina Brewer at RE/MAX Gold Coast…read moreI had an exceptional experience working with Kristina Brewer and the team at RE/MAX Gold Coast Property Management. I was referred by my friend Thomas Ennis, who told me they were one of the most professional property management and real estate teams in Ventura County, and he was absolutely right. When I first contacted Kristina Brewer, she responded immediately and came to see the property right away. Her energy, professionalism, and deep knowledge of the Ventura County rental market were impressive. Kristina researched rental comparables in Ventura, helped determine the best rental price, and guided the entire process smoothly. The home was professionally prepared and cleaned by Fantastic All Care Inc., and the RE/MAX team arranged professional real estate photography and marketing that made the property look amazing. Within a short time they found the perfect tenant -- qualified, responsible, and exactly what every property owner hopes for. Special thanks to the outstanding team involved: * Kristina Brewer * Jennifer Timm * Ana Lopez * Jessica Morales * Lisa Yaremchuk Their organization, communication, and professionalism truly show why RE/MAX Gold Coast Property Management is one of the best property management companies in Ventura County. If you are looking for: -Property management Ventura County - Rental property management Ventura CA - Tenant placement Ventura - Professional real estate services Ventura County I highly recommend Kristina Brewer and RE/MAX Gold Coast Property Management. A few days later, I started getting automated emails saying it had been leased. When I finally managed to get someone on the phone again, they confirmed it was off the market. If they allow people to rent sight-unseen, they should have been transparent about that from the start. Better yet, don't post a property for rent if it's not actually available for people to view. It feels like the staff member I spoke with deliberately held it for someone specific instead of giving everyone a fair shot. Completely unfair, terrible communication, and a total waste of time. Avoid this company!

The Palm Garden Hotel is a genuinely beautiful property, and whoever designed and renovated this…read morespace deserves so much credit. From the gorgeous entrance and photo-worthy plant wall in the lobby to the landscaping, fountains, gazebo, pool, jacuzzi and beautifully designed bathrooms, it feels much more elevated than a typical outdoor-entry hotel. We even happened to be at the pool until closing and watched the staff carefully reset the entire area -- lining up every chair, replenishing towels and preparing everything for the next morning. That level of care really shows. Unfortunately, the front-desk experience was the biggest disappointment of our stay. Andrus, who was there on our checkout day, was wonderful -- warm, helpful and genuinely welcoming. There was also a gentleman working our first evening who was very accommodating, although I unfortunately didn't get his name. Several of the women we encountered at the front desk were the complete opposite. This wasn't one bad interaction. The overall demeanor repeatedly felt dismissive and unwelcoming -- little acknowledgment, avoiding eye contact, curt responses, and a general feeling that asking for assistance was an inconvenience. I actually caught myself smiling more, speaking extra nicely and trying harder to create a pleasant interaction, which is backwards. Guests shouldn't feel like they have to make the front desk comfortable enough to approach. There were times I hesitated to ask for something simply because I didn't want another uncomfortable interaction. One example was requesting additional towels and room items. We were abruptly told to come get them ourselves. The issue wasn't having to walk downstairs; it was how the interaction was handled. Hospitality doesn't mean saying yes to everything. A simple, kind explanation goes a long way. We also encountered ants in our room, which was disappointing considering the price and otherwise beautiful condition of the property. My other concern is the advertised "breakfast included" benefit. Breakfast is actually provided at a nearby independently operated restaurant across the parking areas. Guests receive a dine-in-only voucher with a limited selection of meals; coffee is included, but other beverages cost extra. I want to be VERY clear: the restaurant is not the problem. We met the owners, and they were incredibly kind and welcoming. I actually think this partnership is an asset to the hotel and should be strengthened, not changed. The hotel simply needs to communicate the arrangement more clearly. "Breakfast included" can reasonably make guests think breakfast is available on-site. Knowing beforehand that it's at a separate restaurant, dine-in only and has a specific voucher menu would set appropriate expectations. There is also an accessibility concern. We met an elderly long-term guest staying at the hotel alone on crutches. We helped her with the elevator several times, and later saw that she had made the entire trip across to the restaurant on her crutches just to access her included breakfast. The restaurant staff were wonderful about helping her once she arrived, but watching her make that journey really highlighted how difficult this setup could be for someone with limited mobility. Even we sometimes drove rather than walk across the parking areas in the heat. I wouldn't eliminate the restaurant partnership -- I'd build on it. The restaurant hosts karaoke, comedy shows and other events, which we only learned about by talking with the owners. There had been a comedy show during our stay that we absolutely would have attended had we known! Sharing their event calendar at check-in, in the rooms, through a QR code or alongside the breakfast voucher would give hotel guests more to do while also supporting a neighboring local business. That's a win for everyone. Overall, I really did love this property. The design, renovation and grounds are fantastic, which is exactly why the shortcomings stood out so much. The physical property sets a high expectation, and the hospitality should match it. Improve the consistency at the front desk, address the ant issue, clearly explain the breakfast arrangement and accessibility options, and promote the restaurant partnership rather than simply using it for vouchers -- and this place could truly be exceptional. And again, a special thank-you to Andrus for ending our stay with exactly the kind of customer service this beautiful property deserves.
