The first bite of the zuppa gave me that unforgettable food-critic moment from Ratatouille--one taste instantly transported me back to my childhood and all the wonderful memories of enjoying Victor's cooking with my family. The clams were incredibly fresh, and the rich, flavorful sauce was perfect for soaking up with the garlic bread. Just as my mother always did, I saved some of the zuppa sauce and spooned it over my pasta. The red clam sauce was outstanding--deeply flavorful, perfectly seasoned and filled with fresh seafood. Everything tasted as though it had been prepared with genuine care and decades of experience. Having spent my own career as a Certified Executive Chef and restaurateur, I understand the work behind food of this quality. Victor and Judy delivered an exceptional meal, especially considering they had only celebrated their grand opening the day before. If this first experience is any indication of what is ahead, the new Liberal Club is going to become one of Fall River's most talked-about dining destinations. We then shared a plate of fried smelts which I had never had and the Bacalhau a Braz. My friend said the smelt were sort of dried out- not much fish meat to enjoy. My Bacalhau a Braz was delicious- a nice blend of flavors. I thoroughly enjoyed it and we left completely full. One suggestion to the restaurant- that many restaurants do- please be mindful of spraying the table cleaner in a nearby table when your guests are eating. Overall- it was a great experience.

My eggs were overdone and I've started to notice some days they will fill both small sections of the takeout container with hashbrowns completely, and some days there's barely any in there. There is no consistency at this place anymore. After 2 years of ordering from this location I have started to dwindle down how much I order from here because of the ongoing quality issues. After being given room temp milk and then an attitude for reporting it, I think this was the last time I order from here at all.

He was knowledgeable, genuinely welcoming, funny, charming, and quick-witted. That's the kind of service you don't forget. The food was exceptional. Every special request was perfect--even the extra crispy bacon. The corned beef hash and eggs, crab Benedict, and hash brown waffles were all beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The cocktails were just as impressive.
