The food was not good. No flavor to the rice, dry teriyaki and spareribs and flavorless packets of sweet and sour sauce.

This is my new go to place for take out Chinese. They do not have off street parking but I haven't had an issue getting a parking spot when picking up my food. They do offer a seating area but it's not particularly warm or cozy for a date night. Now on to the food! Their hot and sour soup is the perfect level of spicy. It has chicken, mushrooms and tofu. It's so good! I've also tried (and highly recommend) their wonton soup and Mai fun chicken soup. All of their soups are served with chow mein noodles. I love their chicken and broccoli. It's served in a flavorful dark sauce. They offer free pork fried rice if your order totals more than $20. I didn't even ask for it but they still put it in the bag. It wasn't my favorite fried rice so I appreciate that I was able to try it for free. I'll stick to ordering their steamed white rice though. Their website allows for easy ordering. The people that work there are friendly and the place appears clean. I'm looking forward to trying many more items there.... read more

Stop! Not so fast! Consider your alternatives. Bland Pork Fried Rice, terribly bland (awful) Steak on Stick, BUT (reason for minimum of 1 star) DELICIOUS Boneless Ribs. Go figure. And heres why. These folks drop (place into french fry basket and drop into french fry oil) the meats. Then they paint a nice goo onto the Boneless Ribs...why not the Steak sticks, beats me. The correct way to cook meats is in the gas broiler oven. Only the good places do it. $8.95, plenty, but tasteless. MSG is not used, but still...flavor, folks, flavor. read more

Ever since I moved to the area, I have been searching for a good chinese place. I've tried almost every one in the city with lackluster results, but this place knocked my socks off. In addition to being dirt cheap (we fed 4 people for under $40), the delivery was crazy fast. When we ordered, the website said please allow 55 minutes for delivery. 22 minutes later, our doorbell was ringing. The food was delicious and hot. Best lo mein I've had since moving; the oversized crab rangoon taste loads better than the frozen pre-made crap most places use, the chicken fingers were crispy and not greasy, and the sesame chicken was actual sesame chicken, instead of General Tso's covered in sesame seeds (this actually happened at another place). In addition, their website allows easy online ordering and the combos are decently priced for what you get. There is a $2 delivery fee (perfectly reasonable) and the tip calculator on the website is pointless, since they hand-enter your CC number and bring you a restaurant-style tippable CC receipt when they deliver. Food is lacking mediocre at best. Have gave them several chances and spent 100. Last night 12/30/21 we ordered again. On dish was opened and all over the inside of the bag! The sesame chicken had no chicken. The scallop and shrimp with garlic sauce had 0 baby corn and 0 water chestnuts when I requested extra and only had maybe 3 scallops and 2 shrimp. The wonton soup I'm guessing they used a beef broth? It was dark brown I have never in 40 years seen that. The shrimp rolls were over cooked. Overall, I will no longer give them my business. You should look up how to make real Chinese food! Shame on you! read more

Not bad. I ordered egg rolls, house made duck sauce, wonton soup, hot and sour soup, the lunch order of shrimp egg foo yung and the lunch order of vegetable lo mein both lunch orders came with pork fried rice and my total including the delivery charge and 20%tip was $31.00. The duck sauce was a little different then what I'm used to, kinda tasted like there was orange in it. Not bad just different. The egg rolls were good the vegetable lo mein was really yummy and was my favorite. The egg foo yung would have been very tasty but it was cooked a little too long and kinda burnt on the outside but I really enjoyed the gravy that came with it. The pork friend rice was a bit bland but a little soy sauce did the trick. The soups look great but wont be trying them till tomorrow. Online ordering was easy and delivery was right on time, I think I'll try some more stuff from here next time I'm in the mood for chinese. Thanks! read more

Actually. Surprisingly. Wonderful!! Food was delivered fast and piping hot. Good ingredients nothing sketched me out. We tried the wonton soup very good. The teriyaki steak was delicous. And shrimp fried rice was awesome. This is def our new spot. Plus love online ordering. read more

It's been 20 minutes since I've had my food, and I've practically devoured a little bit of everything. I ordered the scallion pancakes, one egg roll and the shrimps with black beans. The scallion pancakes were flavorful, not too greasy, and the accompanying sauce had discernible traces of ginger and a few scallions floating in it. The egg roll was crisp, with just the right combination of meat and vegetables. And the shrimp with black beans.. the pea pods and mushrooms were crisp and crunchy. The sauce was light and the black beans were cooked to the right consistency. Add a healthy dose of garlic, and this is a sure winner. I'm not sure when the business changed hands, or if it even did, but New Garden now has online ordering. Easy peasy. I'll trek down the hill more often now. read more
