Randomly found this place when it popped up on Instagram. Usually Chinese food is at the bottom of my list in my takeout hierarchy, but their food looked delicious. I stalked their Instagram and read the reviews on google and yelp. It was kind of mixed bag so I was skeptical. Thankfully I stumbled across one guy's review that mentioned they had chouricio fried rice, cacoila egg rolls, etc. because it is not offered with their online ordering and is not even listed on their print menu. The chouricio rangoons were good. I think they would be 1 million times better if there was more meat and less cheese, but that's just my personal opinion. The cacoila egg rolls were freaking amazing. Absolutely awesome. The general Tso's chicken was great as well. High-quality chicken, nice crunch outside and a sweet and spicy sauce. Very good. And the last thing I ordered was pineapple fried rice which I saw on their Instagram. I got chicken with it and it was awesome. Not greasy, fresh vegetables, absolutely delicious. Hands-down the worst Chinese I've ever ate in my life . Chicken fingers are pasty chicken fried rice has no vegetables also pasty, beef teriyaki was nothing like any beef teriyaki in Fall River or anywhere and all five items literally had no taste at all unless you doused it with a very little container of duck sauce they give you. This place fell off, it's bad. General Gao's chicken had no flavor and even the sauce was extremely mid and bland. The pork fried rice had old meat in it because it was grey and not red like the pork used as boneless spare ribs. And it was dry. Well I very much appreciate them being open on a Monday when most Chinese places in the city are closed, so they get points for that! Very pleasant people. Good service and hot and ready food. I only got pork chow mein, ordered "light on the veggies" which they did well. Only complaint is the chow mein tasted a bit sweet like there was sugar in the gravy. Heard about this place from a friend. I will tell you it's the best Chinese food I have had in years. Great clean sauces that didn't feel oily. I had General Tso and my wife had chicken and vegetables. The General's sauce was excellent(sticky and spicy, the way I like it) and her brown sauce was super tasty. I got the chicken wings and teriyaki steak with my combo meal. Both excellent, really good.. The fried rice was average. Not bad at all, but not as spectacular as the rest of the food. We will be going back to try other dishes to see if other items on the menu are as good as what we ordered. Definitely give them a try. read more

We ordered here for New Years' Eve and the food was good but they were overwhelmed having just opened. Gave it another try Friday and was impressed that the quality stayed high and the service was very prompt. HIGHLY recommend the Crab Rangoon, very fresh and the Beef teriyaki are delicious! The beef and broccoli was good, I'll try a few more things next time, and there will definitely be a next time! P.s. Well after waiting 2 hours for delivery I called restaurant who told me driver left my food on porch. There was no food on porch. They called driver who said he delivered to wrong address and was going to go pick up my order on the porch of some random persons house and bring it to me 2 hours later. I asked to be credited for my order as I don't want that. Was told they contacted beyond meme who handles their delivery and it may take several days to appear it at all and was told to call them. I would love to give this restaurant a higher rating, but that's really up to the Ownership/Management to address some of their business practices. I've ordered many times from China Sails over the past few months, really ever since I've tried their Chicken Wings. I have to say that item is the BEST you'll find around Fall River! If I were rating them on wings only- 5 stars. I have tried other menu items but haven't been further impressed, in fact usually we can find better versions elsewhere. The Dumplings (Peiking Ravioli) are solid. Yang Chow rice is pretty good. But my main frustration is with them NOT honoring prices in their Menu. Bottom line, they have charged me a higher price than what is listed, or Not honored coupons, more than Once. What's worse is, when I point it out, they make me feel like a jerk about it! Those extra dollars that they charge add up and make it easier to drive over to Westport for Wings. Really hope that China Sails can right the ship! read more

As far as Chinese takeout goes, this is one of the best I've been too. It just opened last week so my wife and I were excited to try it! I got the dinner combo plate with General Tso's Chicken, pork fried rice, a spring roll, and crab rangoon...all for $9.25. My wife Allyssa got the trio appetizer plate with boneless spare ribs, crab rangoon, and beef teriyaki (this also came with pork fried rice) for a dollar less! Everything tastes very fresh; the chicken is tender with a delicious light glaze, the crab rangoon had a great crunch with hot cream cheese, and the teriyaki is the best I've ever had. After a long shift at work, I was craving me some Chinese food. I had never been to China Sails but heard some great things so decided to give it a try. I walked in less than 10 minutes til closing and they were happy to serve me. I ordered a small vegetable chow Mein and a small beef teriyaki which totaled about $10. The place was nice and clean and I like how you could see into the kitchen which is rather unusual for Chinese establishment. I received my food in under 10 minutes. The beef teriyaki was absolutely delicious. The vegetable chow mein was the best I ever had! The portions were on the smaller side but I can't even be mad, I hate left overs! I'm going to make a bold statement, but China Sails is the best Chinese food I've EVER had. I usually settle with a couple appetizers, while my boyfriend gets combination plates. I never get that gross, full and greasy feeling after eating their food. First- egg drop soup is incredible. It has A LOT of egg in it, that's the way I like it. Every bite is a heaping spoonful of egg and delicious broth. My boyfriend recently had his tonsils out and came to China Sails twice in one day for their egg drop soup!! The chicken lo mein is the best there is! The chicken is tender and delicious and there is so much flavor. Crab Rangoon- perfectly filled, really great texture of the filling, while the shell was very crisp Peking ravioli- These are my FAVORITE Chinese food item, and these are the best I've had. The meat is delicious and the dumpling is perfectly crispy. They're not greasy on the inside at all, which is usually a downfall of other places. An order comes with 8 of them. My go-to is usually an order of these and a small chicken lo mein, and I have plenty to have a second meal the next day. My favorite thing about China Sails is that the kitchen is visibly very clean. I watch a lot of shows like restaurant impossible and bar rescue so I'm always checking for things like that. The kitchen is pretty open when you walk in so you can see everything. Had an odd experience dealing with China Sails today .Ordered a variety of food because I heard on Facebook how good it was. Well ,it wasn't that good the food was greasy undercooked and blah I left a review on Facebook and almost immediately got a message from the owner wanting to know why I gave this rating .He said he was all about customer service. He said he would refund half my money if we could fix the review. I took it down. He came and returned the money with a little bit of attitude. I will not be ordering from there again. I just have to say that I travel everywhere and I try Chinese food in a lot of different places. I am local to the Fall River area and I was hearing good things on Facebook about this restaurant so I tried it .. I was very disappointed. The chicken fingers or 75% batter and greasy.. the crab rangoons tasted like nothing but cream cheese .. The Teriyaki steak had a horrible flavor and it was hard. And the fried rice has to be the most disgusting fried rice I've ever tried. It didn't even seem like it was fried it was more like Rice-A-Roni out of a box. read more

Got good delivery from China Sails Friday around 4:00 PM. I include the day/time with the review because there's negative comments on here regarding delivery times going long. We got our order in the timeframe they promised (45 minutes) and it was still piping hot when it arrived. We used their online ordering system to put in the order and tip through and it worked fine, just had to sign a slip when the delivery guy got here. Hot and sour soup and wonton soup were both excellent, as was the pu pu platter. All the vegetables were fresh and crisp, nothing tasted frozen. Especially loved the crab rangoons, there were very tender and well-filled. Only disappointment was the Szechuan chicken, the sauce was not spicy at all. Going to try something else for a main course next time, but I loved the apps and soups. Great new Chinese place, hope they last in Fall River! read more

Extremely disappointed. My husband and I had a few friends who recommended ordering from here, we gave it a shot I ordered a small beef teriyaki and pork fried wantons. I got only 3 sticks of beef- and the pork fried wantons were so dry I could only eat two. Maybe I'm used to every other Chinese restaurant when ordering wantons the meat is always so juicy inside you never need sauce.... all in all not happy. What a shame!!!! This place used to be so great! Wonderful food, good prices and they made the BEST Crab Rangoons I've ever had. I had not come here for a while because it is a 40 minute drive and I was limiting my eating out due to the pandemic. Decided to try again...DO NOT!!! I've read the other reviews and agree....bonelse's ribs are little rubber band sized and hard, , egg rolls are greasy and have no filling, I also got a chicken dish instead of the beef I ordered, rice is the same (I ordered a vegetable and a pork fried and there was no difference). Someone mentioned about COVID protection and yes, they are plexiglass covered, so much that you cant hear them....there is a "tunnel" where you slide your money in and they slide out the food. The tables are dirty, the floor isn't clean and there is trash everywhere. Since you cant see the kitchen anymore.....which used to be spotless, who knows. i used to go there all the time because I worked in the area and it was so good I would also make the trip from home. Well finally ordered take out, I was very disappointed! It took about 1 and 1/2 hours for the delivery and everything was cold. Had to rewarm everything. The Crab Rangoon was still excellent, but the rice was bland and the lo-mien was mushy. I got the shrimp and broccoli, the broccoli was perfect but the shrimp was fishy. I guess its a hit or miss with this place. BTW, talked my Mom into ordering from here and she wasn't impressed, and she ordered twice to give them a second chance and was still not impressed. read more
