I was buying cooked chickens here for my dogs. Paying the same price as anyone else. One day I was told if I wanted chickens I'd have to call ahead so his patrons ( I thought I was one since I was Paying!) could have chickens. When running a business I think it's about selling your product not the reason someone is purchasing the product. Wow! Last week's meat loaf from here was outstanding. This week's chicken pot pie, only available every other Thursday, was outstanding. If you thought Mrs. Smiths was good, this is way better. It is hand crafted, wrapped in foil, hot tasty and full of vegetables and white meat chicken. He threw in cranberry sauce. This is a very small place and in covid-19, customer are encouraged to space appropriately. The cold case is full of various salads we'll try soon. I don't know if it's available all the time but portuguese rice pudding is available. The service is friendly and fast. I leave a tip. read more

Cabral's Chicken is an absolute gem. When a business has been around for 30+ years, there has to be a reason why. Their slow roasted rotisserie chickens are the best. Period. They are not drenched in barbeque sauce but are slowly basted with Cabral's own marinade that gives just enough zest and moistness without masking that delicious flavor the open-fire roasting infuses. If you don't need a whole chicken, they have wings that are equally good and cooked to perfection. The ribs are good as well..but I'm partial to the chicken. They also offer a tremendous selection of sides (great twist on macaroni salad) and sandwiches. I recommend first timers get the chicken dinner: Chicken, wings, side and fries. Yes, they have great chicken. The sides are also awesome, but I stopped going because of the owner's rudeness. If he knew you, he waited on you--if not, you're gonna wait. Paul actually gave my preordered wings to a pal, right in front of me, and then said they were sold out. They now have new owners, and I recently called for the price of wings. $9.99 per pound, and a pound is approximately six wings. I don't know about you, but I can easily eat 10-12 wings--that's $20 bucks for just wings. Guess I'll have to start a "Wing Fund" for whenever I crave Cabrals. read more

We buy chicken wings and sides from Cabral's all the time. He does the best, fall off the bone tender wings anywhere. A pound of wings, a container of his barbecue sauce (that tastes just like shrimp cocktail sauce) and some fries or roasted potatoes and cole slaw is a meal fit for a king. I've been going for over 20 years and, I reiterate, no one does better wings than he does. I've ordered whole chickens but found them a bit dry. I was told they cook the day lights out of them because their Portuguese customers don't like to see any red on the bone. Ok. I guess. The only reason I don't say five stars. It's hard to find a moist chicken these days anyway. The big stores cook them to 200 degrees. You go to BJ's and half the chickens in the case have split open. They cook the heck out of their birds. Cabral's doesn't go that far but I'd rather eat Cabral's wings until I roll on my back and fall asleep! A tip I'd like to share is to buy extra for left overs. Put them in tin foil and pour his sauce and a little water over them. Wrap them tight and put them in a warm oven for a half hour or so. They come out so good. As of Sept. 2017, you can get a chicken dinner for ten bucks. A breast and two wings or four wings with fries, slaw or mack and cheese, and cranberry sauce. A substantial plate of food that will easily feed two. read more

We bought 2 lbs of chicken wings. They were so dried out they were practically mummified. Not a drop of juice in the aluminum pan. The "BBQ sauce" tasted like plain ketchup. However, the small bites of chicken I managed to tear away from the bone had good flavor. read more

Cabrals is the best. Their wings are amazing. Seasoned perfectly and rotisseried to perfection. Been going here for at least 15 years and will never stop. The roasted potatoes are great, potato salad is spot on cuz they know to use hard boiled eggs in it.(they are amazing mixed together too) I always bring 5lbs of wings to parties and at least 3 people ask where they came from every time. Went here with my 3 yr old. Not local so asked the lady at the counter what she recommended. "Blade meat sandwich, it's wicked good." Indeed it was, I scarfed it down in about two seconds. Marinated lean pork with a little spice, along with pillow soft portugese bread, melted cheese and salad peppers. If you like grilled/bbq wings...then this is your place. They are moist and tender. I do like them a little more well done, so sometimes I throw them on the grill or in the oven for a couple of minutes. Make sure to order the day before if you want a couple dozen as they do run out. I have tried the sides and they are good...especially the potatoes. Whenever we jave company from out of town....I make a trip down to this place to introduce our friends.
