I ordered the Mediterranean-Salad $20.99 , not including $ for shrimp. I've ordered this before and enjoyed it but don't go very often due to the cost. It comes with spring mix salad, nice and green plus all the other salad veggies , feta cheeses, naan bread with hummus etc .. I got the salad today with shrimp. Honestly, the food is amazing and I love their breakfast burritos. The only knock I have is that it is so wildly expensive for what you get. It has sit down full service prices for more of the order yourself vibe. That being said I would 100% go back because the food is so good. We arrived at 2 on a Friday for a late lunch. The counter staff was super friendly and helpful. We ordered and took a seat at one of the high top tables. The music was a bit distracting. An odd mix of disco and 80's hits with an occasional Mexican song. Just struck me as odd. Seemed a bit loud too, but that was probably just because they weren't many people in there at 2 o'clock. My wife got the yuca bowl with steak. She RAVED about it. I got the fried chicken burrito. I wasn't in love with the idea fries in a burrito, but gave it a shot. It was good, and sizable. I tend to order a house special if I see it on a menu (this was on of their special burritos), but I think next time I would go with one of their traditional burritos. I asked for hot sauce on it and the girls brows rose off her head. "YOU SURE?" uhhh... now I DEF had to try it, she said she'd give it on the side because it's really hot. ok great, I was totally looking fwd to it! (Im a hot sauce person and Im picky) We also got street fries, chips with salsa and I bought an extra container of the habanero salsa. The street fries were deeelish. the chips are fresh, crisp and perfectly salted. the taco was AMAZING, so flavourful and it was packed. I had to use the foil to pick it up and attempt to curl and bite it. also deeeelish. now the salsas... mind you I have 3 in front of me. a reg, a habanero and the hot sauce they gave me on the side with my taco. they are all packed of flavor and heat in that order... as soon as Id stop eating the habanero or the hot one I could feel the heat level rising. that is a hard balance to have heat with flavor without being over the top. Definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone!!! I came here for the first time, and I was super hungry, so naturally we ordered a bunch of food. Everything, I mean everything was so delicious!! (I personally am not a fan of the Mexican rice so I didn't like it at all. I'm sure it wouldn't be a deal breaker because the beans on It tasted great.) I liked the fact that the inside was open for dine in during covid. All of the tables were spread far apart enough for people to feel comfortable. They also have outside seating which is sooo cute!! The staff took our order at the register, brought the food out and went on her way. It's like they weren't even around which wasn't a bad thing at all! It's not not a fair deal plain and simple. My high school aged son brought his girlfriend here and came home freaked out that two burritos cost him $30. He likes the food too but pricing doesn't align with a good value. Is it authentic? Ehhhh Was my meal cheesy fried goodness? Yes! I got the chimichanga with grilled chicken and refried beans. TBH - the beans didn't seem too refried. But there was so much gooey melted cheese and chunks of chicken. It was gigantic and made for a good lunch. I wish that there was a bit more freshness to it- I don't know how but just craved it. Tried this local spot for lunch today and was not disappointed! The store itself was immaculately clean and ready for the lunch rush. I placed my order to go and waited less than ten minutes for my freshly made chimichanga. This was a huge chimichanga packed full of cheese, rice, beans and beef served with pico de Gallo on the side. I am going to have to come back and give the tacos a try some day soon! Second venue just opened to augment original location in Bristol, RI. SUPERB menu. We had soft tacos that were prepared to perfection and tasted great. Only suggestions I have to improve: have hot sauce readily available, like a bottle of Cholula or similar on each table or at the condiment station alongside the salt and pepper there now. Currently you need to request it. Staff then prepares a hot salsa served in a small cup.. The tortillas used for the tacos should be a bit larger to hold the impressive quantities of food used in the soft taco... It's needlessly messy as it is with the current size. I enjoyed previous visits to Nacho Mammas in Bristol and was excited they opened in Barrington. As a caveat, I spent many years in Southern California and few of the New England restaurants would be able to compete in that market - high quality, affordable Mexican food is as common there as Dunkin' Donuts are here in R.I. Unfortunately only Tenoch Mexican (in Medford and Boston's North End) has come close IMO, with Tallulah's a decent option as well. With that in mind, here is my review of Nacho Mammas, based on local market conditions. I enjoyed my Burrito Argentino, which came with French fries inside like a San Diego style California burrito. While it didn't quite approach the experience of Ortiz's in Point Loma my burrito was nevertheless tasty. The fried yuca was great. The quesadilla my wife ordered was fine, but nothing to write home about. The service during our visit was great - they brought us tap water and were very helpful in ordering. The only thing I would caution is that we spent a lot more money than I expected. Given the costs of operating in Barrington that is probably to be expected but something to be aware of. Overall it is great to see a new business in Barrington, and we enjoyed our visit enough to return at some point. read more

I love the set up of the place. Clean and open with tons of room. My service experience was great. Like others, I was very disappointed in the hours, I had tried to go here like 2 or 3 times prior only to find them closed, so I hope they didn't lose too much business with that frustration. Good to see they extended their hours. The gentleman at the counter was patient with me being new and answered any questions I had. I think the value is fine. A. this is Barrington, there are very limited "fast casual" options and some of us don't want to drive to Seekonk during lunch hour to stand in line at Chipotle eat, and have to return back. I am so happy to have a new option in town. B. My portions were HUGE... The nachos are enough for 4 people. The plate was the size of my head. I wish they used queso type cheese instead of melted shredded cheddar instead but that's completely personal preference. Food... The spicy salsa from the salsa bar - was actually SPICY! I was so happy, I could drink buckets of the hottest wing sauce on the planet. This stuff did not disappointed and tasted very fresh. Nachos - huge. Nachos, average to good. Great value - these are not an appetizer, these are bigger than most Dinner plates by double. Tachos with chicken - also bigger than your average taco. These aren't the size of Taco Bell soft tacos. They are over stuffed and filled with anything you want to put in them. Mine were good. I would love if they were more 'street taco' style with the smaller double corn tortillas made freshly, these seem to be pre packaged standard processed flour tortillas. It's fine though, it really is. I think every one would prefer street taco style this place just isn't that place. Chili - the only place I have to comment with a bit of disappointed. I'm sure it's a longstanding recipe and others love it, but it's more pinto beans with a little bit of mince meat mixed in. It was about 75% pinto beans, maybe more. It was very unimpressive as a chili fan myself. I would avoid the chili. for the cost, I was disappointed it was so much cooked down pinto beans. I would like to see something with some tomato and more meat, more cumin flavor, more mexican oregano flavor. It lacked that chili unctuous flavor you get from almost anywhere or else (or make at home). It even seemed to be a different type of chili powder than normal New Mexico dried chili powder taste. That's it. Will I go back? Absolutely, I'll be a regular. We have limited options within the Barrington city limits. I was disappointed they are still closed Sundays, but I think it's probably wise from a business perspective being that most folks are going to higher end places on the weekends around here (or the city). I haven't been to the Bristol one in ages and ages but i remember how absolutely tasty they were. Tonight was no exception. Still tastes fresh and homemade. The place is very clean and the guy who took my order was very welcoming. We got our orders to go because some nine year old boy was wanting to get home to play some Fortnight. And with that being said, from the time I ordered until the time we got our order was ten minutes tops. It was right after work so I don't know if that's not a busy time for them or if it is because it's still fairly new. Either way, I was pleased. The only reason for the not five stars is it's kind of pricey for Mexican food but being in Barrington, unfortunately that is to be expected. I'd love to say I'll be here often but it's after the holidays and it's time to hit the gym. But I definitely will be coming back. I'd like to try some chili nachos or pork nachos. I'm happily full. Everything was top notch. Online order for takeout was simple enough. Nachos were HEAPED with good stuff. Burrito was LOADED. Meats were all excellent - steak, fish, and shrimp. REALLY good quality, seasoned and cooked perfectly. Churros with ice cream were also excellent. So good. Menu prices not cheap - but entirely justified by quality. Hmm I wanted to love this but I didn't. Ordered veggie taco combo (2 tacos with a side of black beans and rice ). When I went to dive into my meal and put my fork into a chunk of meat in my beans I was totally turned off. The tacos were filled with the same beans (which I chose veggie as the option but I guess "veggies" means beans there). Not sure if the meat just fell into my plate when they were preparing or if they use meat in their beans but either way my veg meal had meat so I was disappointed . Lovely spot with delicious food in the heart of Barrington. I did takeout but the restaurant looked very comfortable for dining in and there were picnic tables outside. I went to Nacho Mammas on a Saturday night and there were plenty of seats. The staff were friendly and there are gluten free options for tacos and quesadillas which is nice. What's not nice is that we (group of three) sat for at least 20 minutes before someone came over to clarify our order - which they clearly hadn't started cooking yet. We waited another 10-15 minutes before our food was ready and when it arrived one of the burritos was ice cold in the middle. The staff made a new one right away but it still wasn't hot. My burrito bowl also wasn't hot, just room temp. The only dish we liked was the Portuguese burrito which had an interesting unique flavor. I'm also not a fan of the multi-colored super bright wall colors, but the unique paintings are cute, and good for photo opportunities.
