After randomly finding this barbecue spot on our way to exchange a highchair, we had no idea we were about to have one of the best meals of our lives. We started with a half order of nachos topped with the most flavorful pulled pork I've ever had. My wife and I literally couldn't stop eating. The fresh jalapeños added just the right kick, perfectly balanced by the sweetness of the barbecue sauce, and the house-made chips stayed crisp the whole time--no sogginess, just done right. Every detail was intentional, and you could taste it. Then came the dry rub chicken wings--perfectly cooked with a juicy center and a crisp exterior. The subtle honey sriracha flavor layered in beautifully without overpowering the chicken. To finish, we had the baby back ribs over coconut rice. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender, the rice was cooked perfectly with just the right hint of sweetness, and the shaved Brussels sprouts with pickled onions and jalapeños added the perfect crunch and contrast. I genuinely couldn't stop eating. The service matched the food. Our waitress guided us with spot-on recommendations, and I must have told her six times that this was the best meal I've ever had. By the time we left, we felt like we had just been welcomed into someone's home. I loved the atmosphere inside and out. I only wish I had the chance to meet the owner to say this in person--the attention to detail, the energy, and the care put into this place are undeniable. Really incredible food, very generous portions, excellent service but Wow...the food! The Mac N Cheese was so flavorful and creamy (and I'm picky about my mac and cheese!), the pulled pork and ribs were the best I've ever had, the green apple slaw was fresh, creative and delicious and the chicken and waffles were phenomenal! Service was also great and I can't wait to go back! My only complaint is their soda comes in those mini 7.5oz cans which just isn't enough. A regular size can would be great but a mini can for $2 is a bit disappointing but it won't keep us from returning. We love this place! read more

RI Food Fight- Lord of the Wings Review 2025: "15 miles to the Love Shack!" Ours was more like 22 but who's counting, right?! It was a Saturday night. Around 6pm. Place was packed, but it's also not very large. It was rustic modern decor. Lot's of galvanized metal adoring the walls and ceilings, different pieces of wood, etc... I really like the vibe happening here. We were able to score 3 seats at the bar. We ordered drinks and cashed in our 3 wing coupons. I ordered a Coconut Cold Brew. Very different choice for me, I enjoyed it. A lot of flavor! We went with buffalo wings. I would like to see them offer more sauces. The wings were good. Not the best, not the worst. I did order a piece of their cornbread to share. It was covered in a syrup I believe? Either way, another great cornbread. Moist and delicious. We will be back. We like to think that we are regular here now. Everything - service, drinks, food and the vibe are great here. The only thing that was out of character, at least for me tonight, was the Waffles and Fried Chicken. A tiny waffle and chicken that, I thought, was not properly brined before breaded and deep fried. Not up to the caliber that I am used to seeing and tasting here. Of course, one can argue that there are so many ways to do the fried chix and waffles. We stopped at @theloveshackgrill for their entry in the @rifoodfights #lordofthewings challenge. We got the buffalo, honey sriracha, and the house dry rub. The honey sriracha was my favorite. The wings were very lightly sauced - no transfer to your fingers or (in my case) beard, so the chicken flavor was very prominent in the flavor profile. Hadn't come here since it was Chomp, but this place rocks! Some of the kindest servers/hostess I have had in a restaurant made me feel welcome and at home, the food was delicious! As a Southerner transplanted up north, I didn't want to like this place. I have a healthy suspicion of anyone doing BBQ that's not from the south. However, color me surprised as I really enjoyed my meal here and will be back for more! The place is cute, lots of wooden accents, and a country feel to it. It reminds me of some of the fish fry shacks I'd been to as a youngin'. Casual and relaxed atmosphere, here. The service reminded me of back home, kind, generous, and you feel like you're cousins gettin' looked after. You could also tell the staff LIKED working there, which is something to be said in this day and age. We ordered Honey Sriracha wings and the BBQ Sampler. First, the wings. They were huge and had the perfect snap of a well fried skin while the meat stayed moist and tender. The Honey Sriracha was delicious, tangy and sweet but not too much heat if you're sensitive to that. I loved the assorted veggies they served alongside. They said crudite on the menu and it didn't disappoint. The BBQ Sampler was the biggest shock for me. The ribs were saucy and you could see the smoke ring on the literal HUNK of pulled pork we got. For $26 we got a hefty plate of food. What a value! The meat was so supple, it fell apart at the sight of my fork. The accompaniments were excellent as well. They give two sauces. From my own guesswork, one is similar to a smoky sweet Texas BBQ sauce and the other was a tangy vinegar based style like you see out of North Carolina. The Carolina style was the winner for me but both were outstanding. The apple slaw was SEASONED. That alone gets you high marks from me. It's so hard to find a decent coleslaw up here and this one was excellent. Gone are my days of bland coleslaw, for here I have found the light. The cornbread was scrumptious. A little sweet, crunchy cornmeal exterior and delicate crumb inside. Cornbread is either too dry or too moist usually, and Love Shack found that sweet spot right in the middle. One thing I love about food is it never fails to surprise me. I honestly came to this place thinking at best it would be mid. But you can tell the owner has a deep love for food and BBQ. The menu had lots of other exciting options so I am looking forward to going back to try more! Next time you're in Warren, be sure to check this place out! The secret is out; Steve Silvia is among the most talented chefs in East Bay. Took my family to Love Shack Grille last night and had an amazing meal and an amazing experience. The place was packed, (as it should be based on the quality of the food and service) but the excellent food and the cheery service were not affected one bit. I don't think anyone who has ever gone to Love Snack Grille does not become a repeat customer. As a person who grew up in Warren it make me proud that a "local boy" has brought this level of culinary talent to our little town. Don't miss Love Shack Grille folks. I think this place has been open for about a week in the OG Chomp building. I was excited to go, as I always loved this space and the menu looked good! We visited on a Tuesday night and were seated right away. For the most part, the inside still has the same decor but they added their own flair. We were greeted by a very friendly hostess and some of the waitresses. We were seated immediately at a bar table upon our arrival. Our waitress greeted us almost immediately upon sitting. We were waiting for our two other friends but she took our drink order anyway. This made me very happy. I ordered Proc Unicorn TIPA as for me this was the best one of their local draft selection. They had more than one that I liked, so that was impressive because usually there's only one. Once our entire party arrived, we ordered the street corn dip. It came with tortilla chips and vegetables. In my opinion, there weren't enough tortilla chips, but that was deceiving. We definitely had enough of everything to dip into the street corn dip and it was very good. It did have one flavor that I didn't recognize, that I didn't love, but everyone else seemed to really like it. I ordered the chicken and waffles with the gravy on the side, my wife ordered the pulled pork mac & cheese, one of our friends ordered fish tacos (they offered one grilled and one fried, which was really nice) and our other friend ordered the pulled pork sandwich. My chicken and waffles came with two chicken breast. I almost couldn't see the waffle because the chicken breasts were so big. The fried chicken was moist and absolutely delicious. The waffle was very good, I just wish it was a little bit bigger. The chili, maple syrup was great! I also really don't like gravy, but the sausage gravy on the side was actually pretty good. My wife liked her pulled pork mac & cheese, but she said that the pork was a little bit too fatty. I know that can happen with barbecue, so she probably wouldn't order that again because that's not how she likes her pulled pork. I will say that there were about Four servings in it and she brought most of it home. My friend that ordered the fish tacos, said that the grilled fish taco was better than the tacos she has in Florida. it came with pickled red onions and a creme on top. The homemade season, french fries or phenomenal! My friend that ordered the pulled pork sandwich said it was just okay. He said that he likes the pork cooked a little bit more so he would probably have been better off with the mac & cheese. My wife probably would've liked the pulled pork sandwich better. The coleslaw that was served with my meal and the pulled pork sandwich was very good. I've never had anything like that, and it was super fresh. I ordered the Horchata cocktail for dessert and it was phenomenal. Probably one of my most favoritist drinks that I've had. One of my friends ordered the cold brew, and after tasting mine, said that they wish they ordered the Horchata. Our drinks remained, our plates were cleared immediately, and there was no shortage of water for our table. The waitress is very good, and we didn't feel rushed at all. I would definitely go back to this place. I need to try a few more of the dishes, and update my review once I do. I'm glad we have another good restaurant in the area! read more

We came here during our trip to visit family in Massachusetts. My cousin brought us to Bristol, and on the way out he told us he was bringing us to a small local spot..Love Shack! I'm so glad we did. When we got there, parking lot was packed, but there was parking nearby, around the corner. We walked in and at the time there were a few tables left and the bar was empty. We decided to sit at the bar, which was the best choice. Nikki was our bartender and made our experience an amazing one. We ordered the Mexican corn dip and littkenecks as an appetizer, which were delicious! I had the bbq nachos....which were HUGE!! So full warning... they're definitely sharing size! My cousin and husband ordered the burger and really enjoyed it. I really enjoyed the drinks. The margarita tasted super fresh. We were looking for a place to celebrate a birthday, and we happen to notice that this location had changed hands. Intrigued with the name "Love Shack" - we looked up the details and decided to give it a try! Being on a Wednesday night - we were surprised to find the parking lot packed - we almost left had it not been for a group that was just leaving and opened up a parking space! So so happy we got that spot too! We got seated immediately and our drink order was put in. The Birthday boy chose the Maple old fashion and commented on how smooth the drink tasted. We could not decide on an appetizer so we asked our friendly waitress for advice. She confidently suggested the BBQ nachos. We didn't skip a beat and placed the order. These nachos were a meal in itself - they came with large chunks of pulled pork, crispy homemade tortilla chips, melty cheese and fresh pico de gallo. For our entrees - we ordered the shrimp and risotto and half rack of ribs. Both were spectacular- the ribs were tender, meat barely hung on to the bone and the BBQ bark was incredible. The risotto was cooked to perfection with delicious chunks of squash and mushrooms, The grilled shrimp was delicious and seasoned just right. We were offered two desserts - molten lava cake or homemade ice cream sandwich - so we chose the sandwich. It was the perfect ending to a this excellent meal. We also loved the fact that the bill came with a QR code and we could cash out without waiting for the waitress to return to the table! The only thing that we found a little annoying was the music - although they had a heck of a play list - we got the table right under the speaker - so holding a conversation was a bit hard (although I could be getting a bit old too) Overall this was a wonderful experience and we will be back. read more

Excellent hamburgers, great BBQ, nice draft beer list, casual fun atmosphere. Love Shack's hamburgers are a great alternative to Chomp, the usual go-to in the area for hamburgers. Love Shack's are fire grilled (like all the food), and less 'wet' and not soaking in sauces like some others. The French Fries are particularly awesome! BBQ is the best in the area (though tastes in BBQ are very individual). Everyone in our group gave two thumbs up to the pulled pork. Atmosphere is casual and fun. Our first time at The Love Shack, it was so good!! The outdoor beer garden is so quaint, we sat inside with much needed AC due to high humidity. We had the honeymoon margarita which was one of the best margaritas I've ever had!! Corn dip for our appetizer which was yummy and for our meals the chicken and waffles which is big enough to share and the full rack of ribs, also big enough to share. The chicken and waffles were delicious, I was full but couldn't stop myself from continuing to eat more, lol. My husband is a big rib fan and said these were one of the best he's had. So, to be honest, the food was very good. If it was just food and service, it would get five stars BUT.... I am so not okay with this. My husband and I ordered 3 drinks in total. We were charged an EXTRA $2 PER DRINK. My husband's drinks were each listed as $12 for bourbon and $2 for Old Fashioned. My drink was just bourbon, so they charged me an extra $2 for ice. Not a nice ice cube.... Not a whiskey cube or ball.... REGULAR ice. The same as the ice in my water. So, what? No matter what type of drink you get, they're just going to charge you extra??? Ordered love shack take out on Friday night. My husband ordered the BBQ sampler. He loved the pulled pork, said it was the best he ever had. The ribs were less consistent and were dry in parts. I ordered the greens and grains salad with grilled chicken. The salad with the chicken was $23 and was mediocre at best. The chicken was so burnt it was inedible and the salad was just kind of sad. We also ordered the kids Mac and cheese and it was good but I couldn't tell if it was just velveeta? Truly looked and tasted identical ha but still enjoyed it. We also got the onion rings and those were fantastic. Overall kind of a hit or miss! For $75 I expected all hits. read more

Great local gem in Warren, RI. This amazing place opened 8m ago and it's become our favorite go-to mostly because we can walk there. Let's talk drinks. I love the Blackberry Sage Martini. Always on point and delicious. My wife almost always orders an Old Fashion. They also offer wines from local RI wineries which is always a plus! I love supporting local. Now for the food...the Littleneck clam appetizer is a must get. They have been garnished different in all our visits but the broth, bread, and clams have remained consistent in flavor and amount. So good. The pulled pork is delicious. The fried chicken sandwich is amazing. In all honesty, there's nothing I wouldn't recommend from their menu. And recently, they had Banana Creme Pie Cheesecake for dessert. Yeah, too good. Glad we had to walk home. Oh, and let's not forget the wonderful people that call this place their "work". A+! I got the blackberry martini that was absolutely spectacular -made with fresh puréed blackberries (no seeds). It is now one of my all time favorite martinis. My husband got a nice cold craft beer. We ordered the buffalo and dry rub wings for an app. The dry rub was an awesome blend of spices -some heat and some sweetness but nothing too overpowering. Just right. The buffalo was also a delicious level heat. Wings were cooked to perfection. SO GOOD! For the entrees, I ordered the half rack of ribs with the seasoned fries, cornbread and slaw. Again, the perfect amount of smoke on the ribs. They were meaty and fall off the bone tender. Some of the best ribs that I ever had. Loved the seasoned fries and slaw. The cornbread was the BEST!! My husband went with the Pork chop that our waitress Sarah suggested. Phenomenal big thick cut pork chop cooked perfectly and tender with the red blush potatoes, sweet potatoes and butternut squash. We had an amazing dinner at The Love Shack. It was our first visit, however it won't be our last. I have been wanting to try this fairly new restaurant for a while. Shame on me for not coming sooner. It's a gem and we had a phenomenal experience! We were warmly greeted upon our arrival and given an indoor or outdoor option. We decided to eat outdoors and were escorted to their backyard beer garden. What a fun, casual vibe with live music too! The menu is full of mouthwatering apps, sandwiches, tacos, and grilled and BBQ offerings. It reminded me of a restaurant we frequented in Nashville. Who knew one could experience this high quality of BBQ in little Rhody? They offer a great cocktail menu too. I started with a Paloma, which was delicious. I decided on the BBQ rib & rice bowl and my husband had the ahi tuna bowl. They were both out-of-this-world scrumptious and generous, consisting of coconut rice, and pickled red onion and carrots. The ribs were the BEST I ever ate...truly exceptional! We ended with the chocolate chip ice cream cookie sandwich, which we ate with gusto! We met the owner, as well, who is beyond nice and most hospitable. You could feel the LOVE!! It makes us want to return again and again to support nice and talented people.
