After a quick search, I saw excellent reviews on New World Auto and scheduled an appointment. I got a tour of the office when I arrived and met Steve, the owner, and his wife. This is a family run auto transport company and I totally recommend them. I was assisted by Darrin, who was professional and courteous. My car was transported cross country in a safe and timely manner. Everything was as promised. P.S. When you visit the office, be sure to see the insanely cool fish, Huey the parrot, and amazing toy car collection, as well as other fun and quirky items! read more

I worked directly with William Bernier from New World Auto Transport and must say once we got everything locked in it was pretty smooth sailing. The communication with William could have been better from an information standpoint. But it ended up working out. The driver they sent who picked up the cars I was transporting was absolutely great. He was awesome at keeping me informed thru the trip and he was exactly on time for pick-up and delivery. I was very impressed with him and his safety review of not only the cars he was transporting but his safety check once he got them on the trailer. read more

If you live in Houston don't bother with those out of state brokers that manage other transport companied. I researched three other companies and all three had horrible ratings. I didn't want to risk putting my car in those type of companies hands and had to deal with the stress that I read in their reviews. I chose this company because it was in state and it had good rating. New World lived up to its good ratings. My transport for my car to Mississippi was stress-free and effortless. There was no long wait to pick up the car. No bait and switch. I called and requested my vehicle be transported ASAP. It was picked up the next day. They could have picked it up the same day but I needed a particular truck because of the narrow road they were delivering to. The owner even looked at the road the car was to be delivered to ensure he had the right size transport truck. He ensured me that it would be dropped off at the residence I gave him. The transport went quickly and smoothly. It was picked up and delivered the next day with no issues. Again, it was stress-free and the price to transport was more than reasonable. I would definitely recommend this company and I will definitely use them again when needed. Effortless and fantastic service which is extremely hard to come by when transporting a vehicle. read more

I have used New World twice on the recommendation of my son. The first time Puma, my daughters car, was actually delivered by Steve Wells the owner and CEO who have Bill Gates cars in the transport as well. Just recently used them again and had a minor concern. Steve himself called me and the concern was resolved There are many bad transporters out there. Steve was great to work with - however, I was not made aware of any conditions regarding packing the car. The driver was very rude and scammed me 200$. when I tried to handle it with the dispatcher- he didn't believe me and said to work it out with the driver. the driver made me feel very uncomfortable so I didn't say anything and just wanted my vehicle. he peeled off and parked it after unloading. I will not be using this service again. read more

Broker does NOT pay, they keep telling you you money is on the way and then after a month of telling you that they stop responding altogether. As a customer you should be weary if they don't pay their carriers that means they will only be able to work with poor quality carriers. read more

Referred to Steve by top award winning auto shop in Orange County CA. Steve gave me a call and got the info on a very special car I purchased on the East Coast. His company made arrangements to pick up the car and it was picked up in about 48 hours. Delivered nearly 3000 miles in perfect condition in about five days at a fair and reasonable price. Thx NWAT and Steve for delivering my dream car safely! Very happy. read more

I am very impressed with NWAT and Steve Wells' great treatment of me and my auto. I had this company transport my '89 TC Maserati from Gresham, Oregon to Katy, Texas. and he stored it for me until I got here. Very professional and personal treatment. Diane Miller was my contact person at Katy and she was very helpful. I would definitely use this company again if needed. When I started looking for a carrier I was absolutely SWAMPED with brokers calling, texting, e-mailing me with offers that sounded so low but I had been warned about how they worked. So when I contacted Steve personally, he assured me of the cost and the timing. There was no middle-man to screw anything up. Everything went so smoothly. Thank you again Steve and Diane. read more

I had a very special Dodge Viper Prototype Race Car that needed to be moved from Houston to the East Coast. It's a very difficult car to move - very, very, very low, very wide - nothing about it would be easy. It was important to me that I spoke first hand to someone that understood the challenges with such a vehicle and could insure the right level of transport - and not to some customer service rep that had no idea what my car was. That's why I contacted Steve Wells - his experience with such vehicles is unmatched. He knew exactly what to do. He found the BEST truck with the BEST drivers for transporting my car - I know this because the other cars on the transport were a Bugatti Veyron and a Mclaren Sienna (both $1M+ cars)! The Prototype Viper was delivered quickly, efficiently and without damage. I couldn't be more satisfied. read more

Steve at New World Auto transport really came through for me on getting my Porsche shipped. I was getting a run around from many different companies trying to get my car transported but Steve went above and beyond with confidence and also reassuring me that he will get the car shipped. At the end of the day, he kept his words and now I'm very very happy that my car has arrived safely. If you need your car transported, trust Steve and his team to do the job. read more

****Update**** for the full, and awful story, please read the previous review. So the owner took ages to call me back last night and still didn't have any information for me and said that he'll "look into compensation" for me and that he would call me back the next morning (Read MORNING) with information about where my car is and WTH is going on. The next morning rolls around. Lunch goes by. So, once again, I have to call at 1:30pm and inquire as to what is going on. to which I am greeted with a the excuse of "well I just got in the office" this is the OWNER of the Company, mind you. If you commit to calling someone in the morning, you call them in the morning. Again, he has NO information and says he'll call me right back... which actually meant he'd call me back at 6pm... 4.5 hours later, to tell me my car is in the absolute middle of nowhere America and the truck is still broken down, but should be running by tonight. But since you clearly can't believe anything this guy is saying, I seriously doubt it. He also totally tried to skirt the issue of compensation and when I brought it up he tells me "We'll worry about that later." Completely trying to dance around it and avoid making any type of commitment, and having absolutely no sense of urgency about this. I'm completely dumbfounded by how horrible this company is. Any company with any sensibility or commitment to the customer would be on their toes at attention trying to resolve this issue, and being overly communicative especially since I have brought up multiple times that I am disappointed in the lack of communication and extremely lacking confidence in their ability to do pretty much anything at this point. read more

One of my friends living in South Carolina needing a car as her only car just died on Tuesday. So I decided to sell my car to her as she really needed a car to go to work every day. I started looking online for auto transport, but they are all so confusing and all the horror stories client was saying about the transportation of the vehicle. So I decided to call New World Auto Transport to give them a try. I called them on Friday, spoke to Daisy, she was very friendly and helpful, she told me to drop my Honda CRV the same afternoon and was told the car will be delivered on Wednesday. Then I received a call from Daisy on Saturday, she told me she was able to locate a driver and she was willing to go out in the major thunderstorm to meet him to pick up my car, I was so grateful for her to go out of her way to help me and my friend. My friend called me on Sunday and she was so appreciative that she received the Honda and is going to be able to drive the car to work on Monday. I just want to give a shout out to New World Auto Transport for going the extra mile for their customers!!! We appreciate you very very much!!!!!!! read more

Not sure why they have 3 stars. I couldn't be happier. My brand new car made it across the country --in an open carrier at that-- just fine! Steve Wells, the owner, is amazing. He truly cares about his business and is involved in every moving part to make sure customers are taken care of. I felt like a VIP and like I made a friend! My time frame was very tight during a very stressful situation...Steve and Adam made it happen without missing a step. I'd without question choose them again and recommend them to everyone I know. read more

New World Auto Transport was supposed to deliver a car to my granddaughter in Fort Mill, SC on Sunday or Monday. Saturday night around 10pm the driver called to say he would deliver the car around 10:30 that night. That was not convenient, but he said there was no choice, he was going to Florida. He actually arrived at midnight, and demanded that my granddaughter meet him 1/2 mile away from her apartment. She was hesitant to walk alone that late, but he gave her no choice. When she complained he told her to shut up. I spent three days on the phone with both New World's staff and the driver trying to straighten out communication between them concerning payment. I paid in full before the car was picked up so that no payment would be required when the car was dropped off. There was no ambiguity about that in New World's mind but they kept failing to communicate that information to the driver. I asked different staff members at New World several times over several days to convey that information to the driver. But the night the car was delivered the driver was still insisting he was supposed to collect payment. The scheduled pick-up of the car, in Connecticut, was also delayed three times, but that seems less relevant than the delivery problems. read more

New World Transport is the best auto transport company I highly recommend them. I contacted another transport company before using New World the experience was horrifying. 5 weeks after contracting with 123Transports my car still had not been picked up and the broker Tara in New York never once called me back after taking my order she never once answered her phone. Feed up I contacted Ray at New World Transport he was kind and understanding he cared about my moms death and i had to move the car. I contracted with Ray and within 4days he had a driver to pick up my car in Nacogdoches, Texas it arrived 5days later . in Sacramento California. I highly recommend New World Transport to anyone. Use them they are great talk to Ray read more

I love New World Auto Transport. Negative reviews are a joke compared to what these guys did for me! I called in, and get an agent on the phone and immediately introduces himself and asks how am I doing today. I love that! makes me feel comfortable with the process because I feel welcomed. I have never shipped anything before so i was a little nervous about having my classic car shipped from Washington all the way down to Texas. (not an easy route) Keep in mind that i do not know the shipping car process and they educated me through the whole thing.. as for follow ups.. agent texted me and kept me posted ( i prefer text) and my car was delivered with no problems what so ever! Im sorry for the customers who had problems with the truck drivers but this cannot possibly be blamed on the New World Auto Transport. Its life... things happen. read more

This company is great! The owner Steve always makes himself available if you ever have a question or feel uneasy about the transport of a vehicle. The brokers i have spoken to have been very knowledgeable and given reasonable quotes for the vehicle transport. I would not recommend this company for your auto transport. They sales team is great, but the service and communication about your car delivery suck. If you choose to use them or any other auto transport service DO NOT ACCEPT YOUR CAR AT NIGHT. You cannot see the level of damage that may be present in the dark. Also, if you are assigned PVS Transportation Services as your carrier, ask for a new one. read more

I have to give Phil and Doko at New World Auto Transport 5 stars! I would give them 10 if I could. They moved my 2016 (leased) Kia Sorento from Los Angeles, CA to Boca Raton, FL without any problems. Phil booked my order and was nice, professional, and always responded when I emailed or called with a question. Doko picked up my car and drove it across the country. He was meticulous, careful, and very skilled! I had specific delivery instructions and he delivered my car as requested. I highly recommend this company and will use them again if I ever need to move another car. read more

I rarely ever do bad reviews, but whoever I spoke to on the phone was the worst. I asked about moving my car, and when she found out i was coming from Hawaii (a place they don't ship out of) she hung up on me. They definitely need better customer service because that lady was awful. read more

I have never submitted a review, and I should read more reviews before hiring anyone. I made arrangements with a Monica to have my husband's rv delivered to Ga from Tx. The driver picked it up, and left. This was on a Monday. On Thursday, he was informed his trailer is in DOT jail in Alabama for log book trouble. 36 hour wait...to be delivered Sat. Sat he called and new world no longer has his trailer, it was subcontracted to another company. He called THAT company and THEY subbed it out. Now we have no idea where it is or when it will be delivered. A+ BBB rating?? Misleading or something. Take care with this company read more

First off, I have never ever shipped a car before and this was my first time doing this. In addition, I was buying a classic car I've never personally seen before (sight unseen). So you can only imagine the anxiety, trust issues, uncomfort and skepticism I had with this process. I called and spoke with a guy named David. Now after learning the industry in my 20 calls made to different auto transport companies I learned to ask if they are brokers or have their own trucks. In this case David was my broker (in Texas), I lived in California and the car was getting picked up in Washington. Currently there is a lot of snow on the roads in bad conditions coming from up North so I was concerned for my new car, ensuring it was 100% an enclosed hard side trailer and not a canvass side trailer but rest assured David made me feel comfortable. I let him know when, he put me on hold and found truck that could get the car in 2 days, for back to me and took my deposit over the phone and the rest is history. The price was very acceptable, kept in great contact (even text after hours), and even coordinated with the seller. The date was scheduled and the driver reached out to the seller, picked up the car in a smaller trailer to ensure access due to the icy conditions, took it back to a larger 79 foot trailer and stored it on the top, in the front of the trailer towards the cabin (best position) and wasn't moved until it came to my house door-to-door. Not one scratch, knick or odd item to the car as it was black and easy to see if it did. The driver went over all the pre-delivery checklist items on the car and everything jived. Even the driver text me updates which was nice. Long story short; your in good ha SS with NWAT. Not to mention, I really liked how it was a family owned business and not some big company that treated you like the next person. read more

Between the dealership (Auto Nation in Katy, TX) and New World...there is enough blame to go around for the weak performance. The first problem is no one wants to accept the responsibility for the screw ups. Second problem is no one knew the dimensions of the lifted Ford F250 I purchased so when they out-sourced the job, the guy they awarded the job got to the dealership and couldn't handle the truck....time lost. Third problem is when they found another driver (ILM Transportation) to handle the truck I was given a delivery date that was missed. Forth problem, the ILM driver never communicated with me they he would miss the promised delivery date, then when I called him he gave me another date which was missed, then I called him and was given a yet another delivery date that was missed. All while New World took no responsibility for the poor service despite them being the one that hired ILM. I finally spoke with the owner of New World, Steve, and he promised me a $200 refund for the hassle that would come from ILM or New World or a combination....2wk's later and nothing. I called Steve and no reply. For year's I've had my car transported from NJ to FL every fall & spring and I've never had a hassle....I guess that's because I never used New World or ILM. Beware. read more

I do not understand these bad reviews. I have used New World Auto several times. I am a car collector that ships and has shipped many vehicles and after my experience of shipping over 15 cars with multiple carriers via multiple platforms, Steve and New World Auto have won my business. They normally get the carrier to my car within a day. On o few occasions it has been in an hour, and I had to postpone the carrier due to the car not being ready by the seller (eBay auction in Leesburg Georgia). When the car was finally ready a week later Steve got another hauler that day and the car was picked up and shaped within hours. Even the seller was impressed with how quickly Steve was able to get the car moved. Steve is very experienced and kills himself to get the business and to keep the customer satisfied. I honestly know very few with the same effort that Steve gives on veery transaction that I have done with him. 10 cars shipped with Steve and counting. read more

I was looking to have my car shipped from NJ to TX. I contacted several companies and selected one with an A+ rating with a reasonable price. I was not assigned any driver till my last day of scheduled pickup. In a frantic situation, I picked up New World Auto from BBB and discussed with the owner Steve Wells. He was extremely friendly and gave me a competitive estimate and guaranteed pickup on the next day. Throughout the process, he was prompt in responding to my calls and messages. The driver showed up a little late but delivered the vehicle on the predicted dates. I was not even there to receive my vehicle. I was a little nervous but Steve took care of my car in his covered garage and I received it in excellent condition on the next day. I am recommending New World Auto to all of my friends and would happily contact them in the future for any moves. Again, thank you Steve for your excellent service. read more
