New owner and different menu. No Thai food anymore. I liked a simple chic chow mein. Can't comment on anything else.

Decent local Chinese takeout spot. Lunch special is good price. I called to place order and it was ready for pickup in 10 minutes.

A diabolical sore throat determined my evenings meal. A soup to be sure, perhaps one with a little spice. A quart of Hot and Sour, a quart of Wonton and a pint of Beef Chow Fun with an extra dollar of beef, just in case the soup did not satisfy. The Beef Chow Fun was first to be devoured, the large flat noodles were perfect and the dollar extra beef was a investment that paid delicious dividends. The Wonton Soup was more basic in ingredients, lacking the beef laces and the mystery green vegetable floating around, perhaps seaweed? Either way, the noodles were better than I have had to date and I downed the entire quart vigorously. My Hot and Sour soup did not have the hot working too well this day. It barely invoked a sniffle. For all you hobits out there, order up large, heaping portions of this item, as there were more mushrooms in my soup than there was in the entire four day festival in Woodstock.

Yummy fried dumplings

Convenient Chinese takeout location in Forest Hills. Food comes fast and pretty fresh. I've tried their fried chicken wings platter (pretty good), chicken and broccoli and tofu and chicken dish. All good experiences. Favorite is the fried chicken wings which, for the most part, they actually make fresh on the spot and not refried. Their fried dumplings are also pretty good. Hit the spot when I was craving it. Larges chunks of meat! There are few small tables if you want to dine and jet. Lunch prices are decent and comes with soda.

Chicken and broccoli

Excellent Chinese take out restaurant in Forest Hills! I'm addicted to their chicken and broccoli with rice. Just the right portion that hits that welcoming spot! I've found my perfect take out Chinese place. Pretty affordable! Sorry, the Chinese restaurants I've been introduced to in Brooklyn have no comparison to this place. Affordable!!!

G8. Sesame Chicken

Sweet and sour chicken is a burnt crisp. Sesame chicken all breading no chicken. Lomein is tasteless and chicken and broccoli is decent. Would not recommend to anybody unless they are an enemy.

So I recently just started eating Chinese food from this type of establishment. I really don't know if I should be reviewing this place, maybe I'm not the right person to be writing this review but here it goes. I only order the lunch special which is pork fried rice and general tso chicken. Usually $6.95 plus tax and you get a free soda or water with it. ( sometimes the general tso look like sesame chicken but when I look at the receipt it says General tso chicken) oh and by the way I just found out that the T is silent in tso. Anyway, Whatever chicken I been eating from here is always fresh ( well least it seem to be ) and delivery is always fast. By the way he is the nicest delivery man ever. I never actually been inside this restaurant so I can't comment on the cleanliness or anything else for that matter. However, When i asked if anyone knew of a Chinese Restaurant they could recommend to order from everyone said order from this place it's the best, so I have been. Heck Yes I went on Yelp to check things out first and decided to order. I haven't been disappointed yet. Everyone that I order with are true Chinese food eaters, They can eat it everyday for lunch and dinner and be completely happy with life. So I'm writing this review on they input as well.

Chicken with mixed veggies no broccoli, soso
Christina X.

Today's second time I ordered from this place. I never order lunch specials due to little of what I want and a whole lot of rice. My usual order is chicken with mixed veggies without Broccoli (this dish was actually so small I neeed more) it was Okay way too much of uncooked carrots. And the boneless spareribs I ordered low-sodium but it was still very salty. The first time I ordered from this place was something I have never ordered before but I have tasted other peoples, Moo Shu Pork, it was extremely salty this I will never order again. The eggroll was OK I will probably give this place more tries to see how it goes, I hope good if not I need to search for another place for delivery. I'm being generous with the three stars but maybe deserved because they actually bring me sauce forks napkins and fortune cookies.

Your standard roadside Chinese takeout place. Nothing spectacular here, though they DO have their own website, which is different.

It's rare to find a chinese take-out place that doesn't over-salt their dishes. Panda is just such a place. Delivery is fast.

I ordered the cured pork with garlic shoots and dry fried green beans. The cured pork was quite salty, and paired well with the buttery, tender leeks it was cooked with. The dish was not overly oily, and was pleasant over white rice. I enjoyed the chewiness of the pork which allowed you to experience the complex flavor. The green beans were well fried, with characteristic texture signature to this dish. The seasoning was very well balanced and not overpowering to the natural sweetness of the green beans. I would recommend either dish. They were both slightly toned down iterations when compared to the times I've eaten these dishes at other Sichuan restaurants in flushing, but still well seasoned and well cooked. The service was very warm and friendly, and many other customers seemed to be returning regulars.

Warning to all with a pineapple allergy like me: do not eat the duck sauce. If you like spicy ask for hot mustard instead. Orange chicken was crispy and flavorful. I did not find it spicy, but my spice tolerance is very high. My fiance had the chicken with broccoli and it looked amazing. Try the cold noodles. They are chewy and delicious. For me the fried dumplings were good, but not great. Worth a try but nothing to rave over.

It has a nice interior and I suspect may get busy during peak hours, although I was able to slip in at the bar just fine. I tried the Lucky Coin tofu. It was good! We had the lucky coin tofu and the mala squid and chives (not pictured because I forgot lol) I loved the texture each and it made a great combo. The only con is that they charge for rice, which to me is a very cheap move. You know that nobody is going to eat this without rice! Why are we charging? My local takeout Chinese doesn't charge, so why should an upscale restaurant charge? I've been meaning to come to this place for a while and was not disappointed! The service was great. My friend wanted an IPA, but they ran out of the beer. She asked for a recommendation and the server ended up going to the kitchen and specifically finding an IPA for her. I had a sip and it was quite good! The restaurant was beautiful with lots of space! The seats were very comfy. I appreciate how they actually gave us good seats. Usually, restaurants will put you in the corner even if it's a full restaurant because it's convenient to them.

The restaurant is a few blocks from the main street of Steinway so it'll take a bit of searching. Going inside, the area is rather abstract. Pink flower wallpaper on one end and dry wall on the other, it's kinda off-putting but I didn't come here for the atmosphere anyway. Service was lukewarm, I got my order in but the two workers inside weren't too receptive and the menu itself is kinda barebones with most of their food being a bit more than I would like to pay for so I just settled on one order of Singapore Mei Fun. After waiting 10 minutes for my food to arrive, the Singapore noodles which are usually spicy were kinda salty but it was nothing a bit of duck sauce wouldn't fix. This one order cost $17 while not the worst Singapore Mei Fun...well technically it is, even though it's not horrible but I've had much better from other places for a stable price of $12. Yeah, a rather disappointing visit. Not the worst I've ever had but could be so much better.

I got the wonton soup and pork juicy buns. The soup was different from other wonton soups with the addition of cilantro and some nice balancing flavors for the salt, and the juicy buns were your classic soup dumplings with a very nice rich sauce to dip in. The dandan noodles my friend ordered were maybe my favorite, they were the perfect level of spicy and so flavorful without being overwhelming. I'd go back just for my own plate of those. The service was quite fast, and it's a cute little shop that feels like a small town Chinese restaurant. Very reasonably priced as well. Some of my favorite Chinese food I've found outside of Lower Manhattan !

Especially after seeing more videos promoting it on social media. It is located in a food hall and is the first stall on the right side. I ordered an array of recommended items: Marathon Signature Pork Cutlet over Spaghetti with Black Pepper Sauce ($20) - The spaghetti was cooked al dente and coated in a decent black pepper sauce. I appreciate that the cutlet was not thin there was enough sauce, and there was a good portion size. Hong Kong Style Macaroni in Tomato Soup with Beef and Onsen Egg ($16.50) - I was not a fan of this one. I'm used to the traditional HK macaroni soup with ham and a fried egg, so maybe this version of the dish just did not work for me. And the beef slices were tasteless and dry. Bolo Bun Cod Fish Burger ($14) - This was my favorite of the items. The bolo bun gave a bit of crisp and sweetness to the fish cutlet. There is a little too much sauce for me, but you can easily wipe some off. Crispy Chicken Wings (4pc for $11) - The wings were pretty tasteless on their own, but I enjoyed pairing it with the sauce. I did have to take it home and heat it up a little more though because the inside seemed a little pink and I wanted to be safe. Sweetened Ice Lemon Tea ($6) - I ordered this with less sweetness, but I think I should have ordered the normal level. It was decent, but something felt missing due to it. Overall, I would only go back for the fish burger. I've had better at other HK Cafes for everything else. But I like how the food hall had more seating down stairs and it's very clean. There is a 2-stall bathroom for men and women, as well.
