Today was my first time trying this nail shop. I read the reviews before going and there were good and bad but I chose to go with the good because I was sorta desperate to get my nails done quickly and without having to go downtown on traffic... PROS: - They are very quick and efficient. I liked the job done on both my toes and nails. - The workers are friendly. I didn't get the ladies names who were working on me, but they smiled and tried to hold conversation with me (so I could appreciate that). CONS: - Didn't have much variety for the Gel color; I don't buy polish so this is a big deal for me. - I (personally) don't like when shops line their pedicure tubs with the plastic. I GET it as far as sanitation purposes, but idk it makes me feel some kind of way. I'm not like AGAINST it, but I'd prefer to feel like I could put my feet in the actual bowl and not think I'm going to get gang green. (Maybe I'm being dramatic) lol - The foot massage was great, but she was a bit rough on my calves (so uncomfortable lol) The last thing I didn't really like was that the lady doing my nails had another client come in and left me with my hands still under the UV light. I was sitting there kind of lost. I wasn't sure whether or not to put my hand back in or not. So I waited for her to come back to wipe them off at the end, and she never came. So finally I had to ask her was I done and she told the other lady to finish. I mean in retrospect it's no big deal, but I just would've like to have ended with the same lady. But OTHER than those few things, I would come here for sure. I'd probably have to bring my own polish, because the choices were almost none. My first experience was a neutral 3 star experience... nothing spectacular, but they have the potential to get 4 or 5 for sure. read more

Easy to find, clean and no wait. The young lady who worked on my pedicure did a nice job as far as the massage and making me feel welcome. She was patient enough to help me find the right color. The massage chairs are a bit dated but somewhat hit the spot. All in all, a basic pedicure experience. The color selection was also basic. Three days later I look down at my toes to notice what I believe are uneven as well and uneven polish. You know like when they finish with the topcoat and it doesn't cover the edge of the nail. No bueno. If you're in a pinch and you need a pedicure at this is the place to go. Very friendly clean and nice people. read more

I am a regular customer of this nail salon. I cannot grow long nails so I am forced to seek alternatives. This salon introduced me to Solar acrylic nails. These nails require bimonthly maintenance at $35 each session. I also have had pedicures here as well. Overall the service for both manicures and pedicures is above average. All the employees at the salon are trained in both services and they do them extremely well. Once I had a problem with the acrylic nail lifting up off from the natural nail only 2 days after I had them put on. I returned to the salon and had them repaired. The salon did not charge me anything for this repair service. There are many repeat customers at this salon. All of whom are overwhelmingly happy after they have received their services. One thing that is nice about the staff is that they go out of their way to be friendly. After only 2 visits they knew my name and use it to greet me every time I enter. read more

This is the 6th nail salon I've tried in the Tucker area. This is the best one I have been to and feel like I have finally found somewhere I can return to and get quality service. I was seen immediately. Got the regular pedicure ($20) with sugar scrub ($5). Relaxing music and the nail tech took her time. Great message. As a first time visitor, the experience here was "ok". I arrived at the shop about an hour and a half before they closed. The services I received were SNS and a gel pedicure. The pedicure was GREAT and I upgraded the service to include a scrub. The prices were a little above what I normally pay for a pedi and it seems some of their services are a la carte vs bring bundled together. The SNS set was not the best I've had, but the person that did my nails was super nice! He was social and treated me like a regular patron in the shop. I didn't like my nails however, they're chunky and uneven in length. I'd absolutely recommend this place for a good pedicure but not so sure about nails. read more

New Nails is a great bang for the buck. It is clean, the staff is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. I will say that if you are used to extra pampering and attention, this is not the the place for you. I come every few weeks to get the same pedicure but I get a different technician almost each time. For what I get (French deluxe pedicure) I pretty much know who to wait for if the open tech isn't one of the better ones for my service. They are always pleasant and the music is calming. This has been my regular nail salon for years. Always get a pedicure with the extra message option. Unfortunately my last visit there was extremely disappointing. The nail Tech suggested I get gel because it dries much faster the only reason I was running late was because they had too many customers going at one time. After leaving I realized I was charged $20 more than I usually pay. Thinking this was in error I called Susan the owner to let her know of the error, imagine my shock when she told me gel polish is $20 extra!!!!! Really it would have been nice as a customer to have been told beforehand I would have politely declined. In my opinion this was just bad business. I took my 93 year old mom here for mother's day and we both were pampered beyond belief. The staff is so very friendly, the service great. I came in based off reviews since it was not far from my house. The salon was nothing special but not busy and they got to work in my pedicure pretty fast. My pedicure was fine. I decided to try the SNS manicure and was not impressed with the process as well as the tech seemed inexperienced and was taking a long time but it was my first SNS so I didn't judge. When I was finished I was less than pleased but was ready to go by that time. I was told SNS is supposed to last up to 2 weeks (my gel mani usually does) but my manicure began chipping the first day! From what I've been told by friends who frequently get SNS the length of time it took to complete and the chipping after a day was unusual. I will not be back. read more
