I have very sensitive cuticles and so even the barest brush of the e-file and I'll end up with scabs, which really mar a new set. She was meticulous and careful without me even having to tell her. I found that very strange but accepted because I liked the color. However, to my surprise, she still used a clear base and a top coat. I had to tell her to fix three toes (one had a hair in it, one she smudged when putting on my flip-flop and the third she only painted half of the nail).
