I was happy to get one on December 31st, before my yearly insurance benefits expired that night. After I was done, Jennifer had already looked up my insurance benefits and helped select some frames that would be covered by my insurance. I was completely indecisive and went back and forth on many pairs. Jennifer, Rosario, and Anni were so sweet and really tried to help me find the pair I would look best in! (I was incredibly indecisive!) The other two women working were very sweet and helpful as well, I actually ended up getting one of the frames, one of them had suggested was similar to a certain style number I mentioned. If I didn't need frames before, I definitely didn't need them after that. Overall, great exam, but a little less sales pressure (and a little more chill) would go a long way. I originally inquired an appointment online and the doctor called to tell me that the slot was no…read morelonger available. I initially thought she was pleasant and appreciated the call. She asked me if the following week would work and I agreed, assuming everything was set. She did not ask for more information from my end. When I arrived after a 45-min drive to my appointment, the front desk girl asked for my insurance information. I found this odd, as I assumed it would have been handled ahead of time like at other optometry offices. After checking her system, she told me that she couldn't get the authorization because a previous eye exam place was "holding" it. She told me to call 1-800 VSP number to have it "released", but the hotline & the previous eye place was already CLOSED. She said I wouldn't be able to get any eye exam today via insurance. I told the girl, "I wish I was notified earlier". She asked if we can reschedule and I told her that I'm no longer available other days. The next morning , I called the other optometry place & VSP hotline and they confirmed I have an open authorization. NOTHING WAS ON HOLD. This was a huge waste of time!!! If you value efficiency and proper communication, please go somewhere else.

The doctor is professional, easy to talk to, and has a very relaxed, chill demeanor that made the appointment comfortable. I was also recommended Optase Hylo Relief dry eye drops and they've been great. They keep my eyes lubricated with contacts and feel noticeably better than other brands I've tried. David, the office manager, is very straightforward, sometimes blunt, but always clear and helpful. There was a miscommunication with my contact lenses that left me unable to receive them for about two to three months. Luckily I had enough supply to get by. David was instrumental in resolving the issue, which stemmed from my vision benefits. He followed up diligently and handled everything with professionalism and persistence. The matter ultimately resolved with my insurance, and I was impressed by his level of service throughout. Overall, a very positive experience with attentive care and strong follow through when an issue came up. I will definitely be back!
