We moved into a 3-story home in San Francisco's Mission that the previous owner gutted, renovated, and flipped. A couple years later, we had a couple leaks. The original GC referred us to New High Protection, who did the roof. We called, and Hector and Luis came out immediately to take our report and they then scheduled two follow ups within the next week. Turns out the leaks were most likely caused by another contractor's work done after the roof was installed. Even so, they spent several hours over three days tracking the leaks and sealing things up. I can't believe it's been almost two years and I'm just getting around to posting this review. Hector and his team were professional and punctual. The old roof was removed and the new torch-down roof was finished in a day with a follow up the next day for new skylights. All went according to plan. Hector, the owner of the company and Luis his nephew and their crew put a new roof on my house about 10 years ago. I needed their help in 2021 but they were swamped due to the heavy atmospheric rain in October. They returned my calls immediately and worked to schedule me in asap. Phone call brought Margarito, the estimator, out to my property where he walked me through the process, materials, scope of work and estimate. Price for amount of work was well within my budget and gave him deposit & signed contract. We then worked out dates for actual work with Hector, owner, along with 10 workers, numerous vehicles and materials showing up on time at agreed upon date. This rock star group proceeded to remove all old roofing from three different levels with three different coverings, re-roof it all with new flashing, above roof exhaust, new skylight and gutter in one day. Our roof was nearing the end of its life so we got multiple roofing quotes. New High Protection Roofing was one of the best quotes we got, both in terms of pricing and also timing (some companies weren't able to start for another few months). Hector came by our house for a quote on a Thursday, we signed the contract on Friday, and we had a new roof by Monday evening. Hector's crew showed up on time and completed the job in a day! They took care of the structures around our house (including a car that couldn't be moved) and cleaned up afterwards. I had New High Protection Roofing do a tar and gravel to composite shingle conversion on my my Linda Mar Rancher in Pacifica. My home is on a hill in a high wind area that caused my previous roof to blow off. They installed a double membrane and Certainteed pro shingles with all new decking, vents and seamless gutters.The works , no shortcuts and it looks great. A heavy duty, high wind, ready for the worst coastal storm roof. Margarito and his crew were excellent, knew there stuff, courteous and clean up was very good.
