Their workman ship is so good. They have many years of experience and still family owned. Angel the previous owner was amazing and patched up our roof many years ago to give us a few more years. He than after a few years gave us a beautiful roof that will last fifty years. The job went well and he refunded me some money without me asking. Such amazing honesty and character. His son owns the company now and still a great company to deal with. They just put a roof on my son's house. We asked for some extra things be addressed and everything was perfect. They pull the permit for you and get the city inspector out for you to sign off! All included in the price. Fully licensed and insured. read more

Excellent job installing a new roof on my flat roof house in San Francisco using white TPO. Existing roof was removed and new roof was installed in one day with a 6 member crew. It took them two more days to periodically finish-up installing walking pads and flashings. Cost was competitive and reasonable. I monitored their work and they were very diligent with sealing and securing everything, as well as replacing wood rot. The foreman and crew were very helpful and approachable. A few years back they also did an excellent job replacing my downspout & drainage. During a few days of +85 degrees weather, the house is noticeably cooler with the TPO (by 10 to 15 degrees) versus the old tar & gravel roof which absorbed all the heat and then radiated it into the house throughout the evening. read more

First off Fabian was really great, chill/easy to talk to, and super responsive; my kid's ceiling was leaking so I was panicking looking for a roofer so soon after the torrential rainstorms. I got quotes from 4 and found out quickly how much of a pain it is to look for a contractor (one tried to upcharge me and I was pretty distrustful over roofing companies after that). Fabian came super quick for a quote; offered a pretty fair price that included the scope of work; got the job done quickly; and was responsive before, during, and after the process. They finished fixing the roof in about 2 days actually (one day for the roof, one for the gutters) just in time for the nonstop rain this time around. He added vents so that the roof would circulate air a little better, fixed up the shingles, and added gutters so that we addressed all the possible ways the roof could've caused the leak. I will say in between the process since I'm super particular he answered any questions on building requirements needed, difference between materials, and general concerns. For example, the intake vents that initially were replaced looked wonky, or had stickers left over and he got his guys to replace it correctly and clean it/fix it. I noticed one of the gutters wasn't draining during the light rain and he had a guy check it out the same day-- fixed it the next. So the job close to perfect, but of course checking the work helps. So far no leaks (it's only been day 3 of the crazy rain this week) and the new gutters are draining great. They've been in business for years now and are local; if you're looking to deal with a pretty honest roofing company with no hassle, I'd reach out to them for a quote in a heartbeat. read more

We had a great experience working with Central Roofing. They worked around my schedule, showed up on time and finished the job quickly. They replaced the majority of my roof, added gutter guards and replaced some old, rotting fascia. The quality of work was great, they communicated with me well throughout the process, and their price was very reasonable. Would highly recommend and will use them again the next time we need roofing help. read more

Central Roofing did my neighbor's roof. My neighbor was very happy with them, so I got an estimate from them too. Price seemed reasonable. And with their positive reviews and longevity of the company, I decided to hire them. Everything went smoothly, from estimate to work completion. They got the whole process down. Very well-run professional company. read more

These folks are amazing and highly competitive with their pricing. We have a small house at roughly 1,100 square feet. We also have, skylights, solar tubes and solar panels on our roof. When I had them come out and give me the estimate, they arrived at the exact time they said they would and completed the walkthrough quickly. I had the estimate in my inbox the following day. Their quoted estimate was highly competitive. Interesting enough, their estimate to remove the solar panels was HALF what the company our solar company (Sunrun) forced us to use. Oddly enough, that more expensive company didn't actually finish removing everything from the panels and Central was great about getting it done quickly. They quoted me that the job would take 3 days, but ended up getting finished in two. A couple of other things here: 1. They were amazing with the solar tubes and updated parts of the tube that needed to be replaced. 2. They automatically set up the permits and inspections so that I didn't have to do it myself. The last thing is this. While I wished they cleaned up a little better, they did this amazingly too. Replacing a roof is a very messy task. The debris that comes off of the roof is quite a lot and they can't possibly get it all. But they spent quite a bit of time cleaning up at the end. If you need a new roof, I'd give these folks a call. read more

We contacted Central Roofing for an estimate on a new TPO roof for our home. Since this was a new roofing system for us, we had many questions and concerns. Central responded quickly, came out promptly for a free estimate, and provided a detailed proposal shortly afterward. Their pricing was very competitive. Fabian was especially helpful and highly professional in addressing my many questions about TPO roofing and the proper handling of our skylights. He was always responsive by email and phone and took the time to provide clear, thorough explanations. Although we ultimately decided to go with another roofer who had worked on our previous home, our interaction with Central--and Fabian in particular--was very positive and enjoyable, especially given how stressful this process can be. I would not hesitate to recommend Central Roofing and Fabian. read more

We had our roof redone with presidential shingles in the summer of 2023. Fabian was communicative from the moment we met him. We were happy with the work. Recently, we noticed some brown water marks on our master bedroom ceiling and wall, also chipped off paint under the eaves. We contacted Fabian right away since we were told we might have a roof leak. Fabian, sent out someone to do a water test. Consequently, they tore off the shingles and investigated the area. The leak was coming from our chimney. Fabian had the team fix the leak and re-shingled the area that they removed. We are happy with the results so far. Thanks to Fabian we don't have to worry about the leak. read more

I had seven companies bid on a roof/gutter/skylight job for my split-level home. Central Roofing provided a timely bid; it was not the highest or lowest, but the bid seemed reasonable and provided room for any additional work. I asked many questions about the bid and before the work began; they were always answered promptly by Fabian. Two days before the work commenced he drove samples of shingles to my house. He made me feel that I could rely on them if there were issues. When they removed the first level roof they found there was no plyboard underneath, only open rafters. Fabian immediately sent a reasonable change order and the work proceeded, but with extra staff to stay on schedule. The team was very professional, they worked diligently to do a great job, and managed to finish the work in the time promised. Every question and concern was answered very quickly. After the job finished, there were a few details to follow up and Fabian had staff out within 24 hours of my emails. I feel I received 'white glove' service for a reasonable price. I am also confident if there are any minor issues in the future, they will be handled promptly; Central Roofing is proud of its work and reputation. I can happily recommend Central Roofing, Fabian, and the team. I got a great roof and responsive service for a reasonable price. read more

Fabian and his team did two separate roof replacements for me. One was a whole house with 30 yr. GAF shingles; the second was a flat roof with 30. yr PVC. I had solar panels and skylights removed in the first reroof. Throughout the entire process, Fabian was professional, responsive, willing to work with me on the details of both contracts, and answered my questions fully. His team was equally so - they arrived on time, were clean, and promptly addressed concerns/questions that arose during the work. They were also happy to show me the work in progress if asked, and were accommodating with respect to my preferences for vents, vent placement, etc. Communication was also excellent; this was especially important around the timing of removal/replacement of the solar panels, since I had to coordinate with the solar panel removal company. Overall, the first roof replacement went flawlessly. I wasn't planning on replacing the flat roof, but it developed a leak that might have been caused by nails from the earlier reroof. When I brought it to Fabian's attention, he was professional and responded right away with inspection of the area of the leak and offered to replace the roof at a discount. The roof was aging and would need work sooner or later, so after negotiation and finalization of the material, it, too was replaced. It required sloping to drain water off and lots of underlayment to create the slope. When complete, the water runs off as it was intended and I'm very happy with it. During the work, unfortunately the dump truck that hauled debris away dented my gutters. Fabian was on it right away, and the next day the crew came out to replace the gutters (which involved two long lengths of gutter and three corner seams). I know things happen in construction so I was not ultra concerned. As expected, Fabian took care of it and it looks better than ever. Central also has one of the best warranties in the business. It has access to some of the best quality products. Overall, I would hire Central Roofing again, and would not hesitate to recommend it. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the value. I obtained several bids before selecting Central. Central's bid was not the highest, nor the absolute lowest, but very reasonable for the quality, warranty and solid reputation of the company. read more

Our roof was in bad shape and no longer matched the new paint color on the house. We got several quotes and finally settled on Central to do the work. I informed Central that there were several cracked boards on our roof that needed to be replaced. It was good to see them show up and make quick work of removing our old shingles and start the removal of the cracked and broken boards. By the 2nd day, most of the work was almost complete and was due for inspection. My family and I were getting ready for a camping trip, and I went into the attic to get some of our gear. That is when I noticed that there were now more cracked boards. We reached out to our contact Fabian to take a look. He looked in the attic, and we both agreed that all the work had caused some older boards to fail. He explained to the crew that the shingles would have to be removed in order to fix the problem properly. The next day, they got back to work and not only fixed the problem but finished the roof as well. It looks great, and we couldn't be happier with the outcome read more

I did my research on roofing companies. I asked my neighbors of their experience and many referred another roofing company. What stood out for me with Central Roofing and working with Fabian explaining everything in detail. Out of the four quotes I received, each had extras to add on. Some just emailed the quote with not a lot of guidance. What I was looking for is someone looking out for everything I might require so I could prepare my budget. Central tried very hard to make things right after my initial bad experience. They came the next day to fix the fallen shingle and anything else they could find. They also offered to pay for new gutters on the back of the house after I mentioned I was about to replace them (that was $4,500). And, they've been out once more since then for an aesthetic touch-up. After this recent atmospheric river I looked around for more issues but nothing stood out. Thank you Central Roofing for replacing the ancient, leaking tar-and-gravel roof on my in-laws' San Francisco home with a perfect new TPO Cool Roof. Central's crew even moved some bulky-trash-pickup items out of the driveway for their truck, then moved them back afterwards, without a complaint. We hired Central Roofing for a full re-roof that was completed in October 2023 and are glad to have partnered with them on this project. We obtained 4 quotes and decided to go with Central Roofing because of the affordability and positive feedback from other customers. Fabian was very responsive whenever we had a question about the project. The project was very straightforward it took 3 days (2 days re-roof and 1 day for re-stucco on chimney). The crew kept our property clean just like it was before the project started. One thing that I really appreciated is that we found out after the completion of the project (2 months later) that our gutters had some standing water and needed to be re-sloped. Fabian kindly sent someone out to fix it at no cost. We will be going back to Fabian and Central Roofing for our roofing needs. read more

Central roofing did a fabulous job replacing our roof. Our roof job involved replacing clay tiles in the front of the house, tar and gravel on one level and bitumen on another level. We chose to use presidential TL shingles on the front and torch down bitumen on the other sections of the roof. We obtained 5 bids, all roofers listed on Yelp. As far as the costs, central's bid was in the middle. We chose central because of the ease in communicating with Fabian, the owner, the details of his bid, and his willingness to answer our questions and to make adjustments to fit our needs. The work started exactly on time and was completed on time. Central has distinct crews, specializing in a particular area and were called in to work in well orchestrated stages of the job. There were the flat roof crew, the shingle crew, the sheet metal crew, the gutter crew. The site foreman, Ramon was on top of every stage of the job and each specialized crew worked in harmony with everyone. Every day Fabian would send us pictures of work performed, tell us what work will be done next and promptly and fully answered all of questions. We had some unforeseen dry rot and it looked as if it would be a big and costly job to replace. Fabian called his carpenters and in a half of a day the dry rot was taken out and replaced with new wood. There was no delay in the roofing work and the added cost was very reasonable. Fabian also had his sheet metal crew fabricate custom made domers over our windows and a huge metal flashing between our chimney and shingles. The outstanding workmanship continued when to our surprise Fabian decided to install metal caps over the entire perimeter of our roof including over the shingled roof to provide better waterproofing. Fabian also installed metal mesh to all chimney and roof caps to keep out pests. Now that the job is done, it's very evident that this company is proud of its work and its reputation. And we can honestly say that if there's any problems that may come up in the future (knock on wood that there won't be), central and Fabian will back their work 100%. read more

Central Roofing Inc 5 stars + for Central Roofing I have a roof that is over 35 year and now there is a leak into inside the house in the kitchen and living room. I called Central Roofing to put a new roof on my house. They came really fast to give me quote. About 3 weeks later, they load on the roof with the material they will be needing. Next day a crew of workers start tearing down the roof to the bare wood. They clean up the roof. Then they start covering the roof with material covering the roof. After that, nice thick tiles are tacked on to the roof. The working crew works fast and keep on working. After all the roof tiles are done. Our house roof tiles looks really good. The Central Roofing really knows how to remove the old roof and put in a new roof. After a few days later they came back and put on brand new Chimney Caps. Fast responses, and great quality for the price! I reached out to a dozen roofing companies on Yelp to replace my 1000 SF sloped tar and gravel roof with shingles. I wasn't expecting to pay much because the roof is simple, and the square footage isn't that big. Other companies wanted $10-20k for the work. Central Roofing followed up after their original estimate, and was able to beat the competitors price and match their warranty. They told me they were booked over a month out, but called me one Friday three weeks later asking if they could start the next day. The crew was nice, and they cleaned up after themselves. My only gripes were that the fascia board around my house was not installed straight after they ripped off the existing metal flashing, but the new gutters did cover it. I also had to follow up with them to see when they would return to finish my roof because they did not resume work that Sunday or Monday. I also had to follow up to see when a separate crew would return to install the gutters. The existing stucco was damaged when the old downspouts were ripped out (not a big deal since I knew how to patch and repaint it). Fabian was always quick to respond to my emails and texts. It would have been nice if they communicated their schedule with me though. Overall I'm satisfied with their work for the price that was paid. read more

After gathering estimates, I decided to go with Central Roofing for my roof replacement because Fabian, one of the co-owners, offered the most comprehensive walkthrough of the roof in addition to competitive pricing. Many of the other companies would show up for site visits, but it felt rushed and they didn't really bother to hear my concerns/questions/ideas whereas Fabian took the time to chat through shingle colors, warranties, skylights and unique scheduling that involved my rafters being replaced inbetween the roof teardown and rebuild. When I discovered a leak in one of our interior walls, it was time for a new roof. Our roof was an old tar and gravel roof from the 90s and it was no longer holding up. After doing lots and lots of research, I decided that PVC was the best material for my roof. We have a low slope roof so shingles were not an option. I contacted a bunch of roofers via yelp in San Francisco, Daly City, Pacifica and sadly the majority of them did not get back to me. Fabian at Central Roofing was one of the few that did and they did PVC roofs too. I got a couple other quotes and Central Roofing was in the middle of the pack. They were not the cheapest but I could tell that it was a good balance between quality and price. Fabian was responsive and so easy to work with. He gladly shared his expertise and I felt taken care of throughout the process. The installation crew did an awesome job. They kept the place clean and also accommodated my solar contractor. Mounts for solar panels were installed while the roof was off. Central then waterproofed them so that the solar guys wouldn't be drilling holes into the new roof. We also have an open beam ceiling in the living room and they were able to add additional insulation to make the space more comfortable. The roof has gone through a couple rainstorms now and things have been great. The roof should last another 20-30 years! I highly recommend Central Roofing! read more

After heavy rains, we noticed a leak in one of the bathrooms and decided it was time to replace our roof. As with all of our house projects, we reached out to several local roofing companies to get quotes for a full roof replacement. Fabian promptly came out to our house to take a look at the situation even though he was slammed with requests after all the rain. Central Roofing was quick to provide a detailed quote, and was not the highest nor the lowest of the estimates we received. We ultimately chose them Fabian was very responsive to all of our many questions asking for clarification on what exactly was covered in the quote and because of the extra guidance that was provided on how to it ensure there was the right slope created for proper drainage. We were also concerned about potential additional costs if there was dry rot found after removing the old roof - this is something that could not be quoted until after removing the old roof. We asked him to explain how much extra we would have to pay and he shared what has been typical for other houses in the area and let us know what to expect for a worse case scenario. It was nice to find that there were no additional hidden costs beyond what was quoted. Once the work began, the crew that came was quick and efficient. The only negative is that the crew did not provide us with updates on the work they had planned to do or had completed. We didn't even know when they were done for the day or if an inspector had come by. We had to reach out to Fabian for updates, but once we asked, he provided us with pictures and email progress reports. There was also a bit of miscommunication about when he would be stopping by to pick up payment for the work. These were minor inconveniences for a job that was down well within the promised time frame of 2-3 days. Overall, Fabian and the team at Central Roofing had expertise in roof replacements, offer advice and make recommendations that seem right for your specific situation, tell you if the work can wait or if it is urgent, and do not push the hard sell approach. The 25 year warranty on the work also says a lot about the quality of the work. I would recommend them to others! read more

100% recommend Fabian and his team. My roof was beginning to have leaks in the garage and some moisture in my living room ceiling. I contacted Fabian so he could inspect and provide an estimate. Hands down, one of the best service experiences I've ever had. On the day of the year down, I came out to move my car out of the driveway and found a fresh laid poopie on my newly laid ARTIFICIAL GRASS. Who lets their dog poop on artificial grass? Anyways, I kinda had a meltie after seeing it and one of the roofers said he'd chuck it in the dumpster for tear down. I came out a few hours later, and the poopie and my roof was gone. I literally will give 5 stars just for that. The whole tear down and install took two days. Fabian was very communicative the whole time. The team cleaned up everything and used a leaf blower to blow my front patio (and blew underneath the doormat!). Couldn't ask for better service. Thanks guys! read more

We had a 29 year old roof that had took quite a beating this winter. We literally had shingles flying off of our old roof and would find them all over our front and back lawn every day. We reached out to 8 vendors after curating a select list from Yelp, Google reviews, and Nextdoor. All the quotes used similar materials and provided similar material and workmanship warranties. Fabian and crew came across as very honest and genuine - no upselling, no unnecessary additions, obscure language around warranties, or pushing to replace gutters and downspouts etc. Central roofing was very competitive and Fabian was very responsive and fantastic to work with. We were on a tight timeline and we had several vendors give us a 2-3 month lead time to replace the roof. They warned us that anyone who would agree to do it sooner was not doing it right. However, Central roofing was able to secure permits with the city of Burlingame in two weeks and get started right after. They finished their work right on schedule and it was very high quality. We received daily updates on progress. The city inspector cleared their work on the first attempt, no followups or fix-ups needed. The new roof looks great. The whole process, from start to end, was very efficient and stress-free. I would highly recommend Fabian and crew - you are in excellent hands. read more

Looking for the right contractor is a PITA, especially when something is supposed to last 30-50 years, one must do their DD. I called about 6 of them, checked all credentials and read reviews, spoke with them. A heads up of another contractor that I spoke with, a total used car salesman, all he did was looked at my roof from Google Earth's satellite image, never offered to come out to see it in person, pretty much started out stating that the best method is to leave the 24 year old singles and doing an overlay, claiming it'll last 50 years, which will cause the roof to be almost twice as heavy (probably because he does not want to do a full tear off to save time and money for himself), plus he said he'll throw in 2 roof vents for free for an almost 2000 sq ft roof, well, a roof vent is suggested per every 400 sq ft, so for my roof, it should be 6 total, so watch out. The company name starts with Ac... in San Francisco (read some of their negative comments and owner's replies, unbelievable). Anyway, now about Central Roofing, I thoroughly checked their credentials, reviews and spoke with them, not much issues contacting them or getting call backs/email replies. They are GAF certified (GAF is the manufacturer of the roofing supplies that they use and they have to go by GAF's installation requirements to qualify for GAF's warranty). Yes, I read some of their negative reviews, but one has to take those with a grain of salt, because not all customers are always right. I set up an appointment to get a quotation, the guy came out on time and provided a quote soon after, I asked the estimator about the roof vents, he suggested 6 low profile, just like I expected. I agreed and told them to go ahead with the job, they gave me an estimated time, but due to the weather, it got pushed back once or twice. When the weather was permissible, they contacted me on when they will start and they did start as promised in the beginning of December 2023. It took them two days to do a full tear off and complete the installation, including some small sections of gutter replacement. Workers were very polite and professional, cleans up after each day. Since completion, there were many days with heavy rain and I checked the attic each time and so far found no signs of leak. The roof vents during those windy and rainy days, when I checked the attic, I could feel a nice cool breeze blowing around. One last thing, I am not sure if Central Roofing will do this automatically or one must request it, to have them bring a Portable Restroom, they did not mention that to me, but I did request them to have one set up, so they did from a third party company and it's called Honey Bucket, lol. See image of completed roof that their worker took, I dunno, maybe he took the image with a potato/potatoe :-) Also, they did text me images periodically during the installation process. As of now, am extremely satisfied with their service, no complaints at all and that's what you want from a contractor. read more
