Watch these guys, they push the signing of the damage waiver when they know they screwed up an appliance hookup during countertop installation - knowing we wouldn't notice until we tried to use the appliance. Now they say they're not responsible cause we signed a waiver. Shoddy work, rude customer service. I would not recommend. This was my first time doing a full renovation and New Granite & Marble made the countertops the easiest part of the entire process by far. From the initial consultation I new right away I was going to choose them and now that the job is done I am even more confident that I made the right choice. After choosing the general color and style I wanted they showed me several options that fit my budget. They answered all of my questions, addressed all of my concerns and ALWAYS returned my phone calls quickly. My salesperson was Aneta, she was a pleasure to deal with and stayed in contact with me during the entire process. She went into detail giving me a crash course in countertops explaining every aspect from the different type of stones, the cutting process, time frame, seams (if needed) overhang, edges & corners. Matt was the man who came to do the measurements and he was also VERY nice and knowledgable. The last step was the installation which also went vey smoothly. They took the time to explain how everything was being done and even explained to me how to take care of the granite in the future to maintain a nice clean look. I've learned quickly that a total renovation can be, shall we say "challenging", so please do yourself a favor and choose New Granite & Marble for your countertops and don't look back. read more

I read the positive reviews here about New Granite and Marble and decided to contact them about replacing the formica countertops in my kitchen. I visited their offices and we discussed the job, cost and timeframe. There was a small misunderstanding which cost me some extra dough so I had to take a star off but I have to say that my new granite countertops look AMAZING! My kitchen has been totally transformed. Even though the granite is beautiful, just what I wanted, two years after installation, my undermount sink, I discovered, us being held in place by leftover granite pieces glued to sink. Not the proper way. It is a corner-cutting way to do this. It should be held by clips that are predrilled to underside of countertop. Check your sinks people. Since I got the sink from them, they should have done that. Didn't even know until I opened my cabinet door one day and out fell the granite pieces. Shame on them. Won't use again. read more

There are many, many granite and marble samples onsite as well as model kitchen areas to see how it all comes together. The workshop is onsite. Discussed the project and the sense of urgency and hTom arranged for his brother to measure and template the kitchen counter that very afternoon, explaining the process each step of the way. Measurements taken and granite installed in under a week. The installers were excellent as well. Worked late in the evening for several hours to ensure everything was perfect. Even helped slice a bit off the sink to ensure a tight fit and cut the hole for the faucet on the spot. I get so many compliments on the new kitchen. I gave this place a visit based on positive reviews on Yelp. I was looking to receive a quote for 2 bathroom vanities. As we headed out to the lot to pick out slabs, David explained to me that if I picked out remnant pieces that I would be getting significantly lower prices. On that note, I proceeded with remnant pieces of quartz for one vanity and granite for the other. I received the quote immediately after and I felt that I was getting a reasonably lower price considering I was making my pieces out of leftovers as they had suggested. I continued with the transaction and gave my 50% deposit in cash and left. I visited another spot prior to this place and their quotes came in shortly after this transaction. Their prices were significantly lower and I had picked higher quality marble and the same exact quartz. In addition, they were not giving me remnant slabs. Clearly unhappy, I returned the next day and explained just that to Matt. He continued on with that he pays his workers better and that probably that the other place does not have business and gave me a better price (what!?) I asked for a full refund of my deposit and swiftly left. Word of advice for people: receive several quotes from different places, do your research, no matter how much they tell you that you will be getting the best price, don't trust their word, get it on paper. read more

They did a beautiful job with the templating and installation of our Fantasy Brown quartzite countertops in our kitchen and bathroom. We travelled from Monmouth County and are so happy we did. Their price was better than any other granite dealers we visited, and they were the only company that considered the pattern of the quartzite. Before we even left a deposit, Tom drew up a visual of how the pattern would run so it would all flow nicely. We couldn't be happier with the final product. After install I had a question about something minor and they actually had the installer come down (all the way from Passaic) to answer my question in person. Top notch. Professional, great installation process. Would have been a 5 star review, except you had better not forget to have them cut out your faucet and/or soap dispenser holes. If you forget and they have to come back out to take 5 minutes to cut the holes, you will be hit with a $200 charge. Pretty excessive for 5 minutes of 1 person's time. My wife and I renovated our kitchen and our contractor directed us to Matt at New Granite & Marble. We couldn't have been happier. He has an amazing selection of counter tops for us to choose from and his suggestions on matching color schemes was so helpful. We loved what we saw so much, and it was priced so reasonably, that we even went back to get a special granite back splash for our cook top. And because he has the pieces right there for us to pick from we'll be able to pick the cut we want, unlike Lowes or Home Depot where you just have to take what they send you. Besides having a fantastic selection he also has an amazing turnaround. He came and made the template for the counter tops himself (we had 3 separate areas to do) and two days later it was ready. When his installers came that were so professional and really did an A+ job. They were clean and meticulous with every step of the install. I was initially so pleased with New Granite & Marble. They sent us to a place to pick out our stone, so many choices. They were prompt with the turn around and everything looked good. Then two days ago, I opened my cabinet under the sink and out fell four pieces of granite that was glued onto the underside of the sink to hold it in place. This is NOT how you attach an undermount sink. You use clips that have had the holes predrilled. I now have had to order clips to install under my cabinet to make sure my sink does not fall down into the cabinet. This is a lazy, corner-cutting way of installing an undermount sink in a granite countertop. Terrible. This is their business and know better. Shame on them. read more

If I could give New Granite & Marble 10 stars I would!!! When my husband and I began the renovation of our home, Granite was our starting point. Natural stone is so amazingly beautiful that we built everything else around it. Finding the right place to buy and fabricate that stone was a huge decision. We shopped around quite a bit. I felt like I needed to see every granite available. After putting a deposit on some slabs for our kitchen at another supplier/fabricator. I had an uncomfortable feeling that the work would not be the best quality and the price too high. Luckily I google searched again, got my deposit back and went to New Granite & Marble. I immediately felt comfortable with Matt, that his price would be fair, the service excellent and the quality of the fabrication and installation impeccable! The stone we chose for our kitchen was described on a fabricator's site as difficult to work with. It required careful preparation and care in fabrication. We could not be happier with the results! Our kitchen is gorgeous! The granite beautifully designed and crafted for the different counter tops to flow in a natural pattern and highlight the granite's most unique features. They seem to have a much greater selection of colors and granite slabs than many of the other competitors' shops in the state, New granite and marble LLC was very professional. Prices are comparable if not lower than competitors. One of the owners personally helped me choose the color combination for my kitchen among the wide variety of granite slabs they have at their warehouse. Owner very knowledgeable regarding the quality of granite and color combinations that look great together. After the granite was installed, I realized the the color combination and quality chosen was spectacular. New granite and marble even sealed the granite so that it was ready to be used by the following day. Price quoted was the actual price. No hidden fees. They scheduled a time to measure the kitchen and 2 days later my granite was installed. Overall, I would call them back for any future granite or marble work I needed. read more
