I paid $8500 to this company on 5/10/25 for new gutters, down spouts, and to provide a chimney cap on my roof which was not provided by the original roofing company that completely tore off my existing roof to install a completely new roof on my house 2021. The jobs Accomplished Chimney completed was efficient and in high standards. I am now in need of a roof cert and/or inspection for renewal of my HOI policy. Being I was quite satisfied with Accomplished I decided to call them. First I spoke to Gianna who gave me a quote of $160 and told me the owner Izzy would be calling me. He called me right after I got off the phone with Gianna. He, in turn, quoted me $500 as he'd have to dispatch his entire crew come to my home. I responded with "why an entire crew"? He became irate when questioned stating they'd have to use a ladder to get up on my roof. At that point he accused me of wanting a free inspection. Logically thinking why would a team of guys be needed to see the numbers of layers my (new) roof has and if any shingles were lifting? I by no means expected a free ride and would gladly have paid a common and customary fee. When I mentioned about writing a review, as I didn't appreciate being yelled at or being told I'm being nasty, or want a free handout he threatened me with his attorney. We are beyond happy with how they treated us, the price and the work. My boyfriend and I had met Matt one of the guys from there at our local vets office and I asked do a card as we needed someone to fix a few issues on our siding. We ended up having an emergency and needed to redo the chimney. They quoted us a fair price , we're on time and got everything done and cleaned up in a timely professional way . They even dealt with me yelling if there were any birds or animals in there to let me know so I could trap them and get them to a Santuary (thankfully there were none) I saw some people saying they were "condescending" to women, all I can say about that is that some women need to complain about anything. My mom is 73 years old and was home at the time and Matt took her dog for a walk for her out of the kindness of his heart! Who does that these days? They were very organized and each had their specialties to accomplish. The Mason was superb, every knowledgeable and efficient. We had our gutter cleaned. Fast and efficient. I saw someone stated that the guys who came out for the estimate seemed like he didn't want the job and she thought he was condescending towards women. My wife said something similar. I wasn't ho.e when he came out but she said he looked up gave us a fair price and even told my wife to look around for different prices almost as he was walking away. I told my wife that seemed to me like a tactic or just not to seem desperate because then this conversation would be different. Anyway, they were up on my roof, 3 of them and in no time cleaned it up. I would call them again. The main worker I spoke to was pleasant and smiled and advised us that cleaning the gutters 2 times a year is recommended. I was ripped off by Accomplished I only got taken for $6,500 because I got suspicious and they knew I was going to start a fuss. They used the same scam they have used on many folks looking to get a chimney cleaned. I found them through a Val Pack ad and intend to notify Val Pack that they are not dealing with a reputable service. One team comes and breaks-up your chimney and necessitates the repair (Creeps). We recently had Accomplished clean, flush and install new gutter screening and clean the wood burning chimney. They were very professional, did an outstanding job with the gutters and new screening and were very meticulous--working into the evening to complete the work without cutting any corners. They spent a considerable amount of time cleaning the inside of our fireplace as well as the flue --it was spotless when they were done (other than the normal burn marks). They cleaned up not leaving a spec of dust or dirt. Their pricing is very competitive as well. I will certainly use them again for any chimney, fireplace, gutter work and would highly recommend them for any of those services read more

Accomplished was referred by a close friend to clean my chimneys. At the estimate, I became aware that I needed repair work as my bricks were in serious disrepair (cracked, crumbling) in addition to other chimney work to prevent major issues in the future. I got another opinion and I did need the work to be done to prevent major issues. I am extremely pleased at the level of skill, workmanship, time of repair and cleanliness of work done on my three chimneys. I found the team to be extremely knowledgeable!! The chimneys look better than the original in terms of design. Although it work was not inexpensive, the reality is that it had to be done and I feel I got my money's worth. read more

I would give 0 stars if I could. Completely unreliable. We had an appointment set with this company for several weeks. The day of our appointment (during the hours they were supposed to arrive), they called us telling us they cannot make it to our appointment. I understand that things happen, so this was not a big deal. We rescheduled for a week later. The next week, they called us again, during our new appointed time, telling us that they cannot make it to our appointment because "they had no guys in our area". I don't understand this at all; we had an appointment scheduled. To top it off, it was during the holiday season. We had our original appointment booked several weeks in advance so that we could enjoy our fireplace for the holidays. Please, spend your time and money elsewhere. We had really bad rain on Monday and noticed that we had a leak in our ceiling. We immediately called Accomplished Chimney since they had replaced our chimney liner last summer. They came over to take a look at it in the pouring rain and gave us a favorable estimate. They started working on replacing our roof the next day and were finished the following day. It has taken me some time before writing this, because I wanted to make sure that I had accurate information. Accomplished did a great job on my new roof (the job was done in September 2012). HOWEVER, I do believe that they took advantage of my emergency situation and overcharged me by a few thousand dollars. Upon pricing out this job (new roof and replacement of some beams, etc.) with other companies (and taking into account the emergency situation), I would have to say that I was charged a minimum of $2000-$3000 above what this job should have cost. The other companies that I had price the job (new roof and replacement of some beams, etc.) said that the price I was charged was for a roof that was much, much larger than mine. It it were not for the pricing issue, I would definitely have given Accomplished praise and more praise, because everything else about them was first class -- professional, clean and a superior job. As a matter of fact, I have RECOMMENDED them to a number of people, but told the people to make sure to get prices from a few other companies before committing to Accomplished. read more

Do not hire them if you are woman and immigrant they will bully woman and immigrants into more job and higher price.We hired Accomplished to fix the leak approx 2 by 6 inch on the left side close to the corner of the house. The estimate was high, but it was an emergency, thus we agreed. They showed up next day around 9:15 am walk all over the roof and tried to sell more work. When I disagree the team leader became rude and threaten that he just walks out of job leaving me without shingles they already took out. I told him that whether he walks out or not I will not pay any extra for any extra unnecessary work, then he called his boss. The boss was rude and tried to bully me into the project by calling names. Do not hire them if you are an immigrant woman. read more

My experience echos the other reviews. I was in need of chimney repair and Accomplished came recommended. They used the oldest 'bait & switch' method in the book. They bid low to get the job and then miraculously found more than twice as much work once on the roof. After paying for the exorbitant work, I was horrified to find that in the first rainfall, we experienced leaking in the roof, a result of their poor work. They claim to have fixed the problem on the outside, but I have been left with interior water damage. I would avoid working with this company at all costs. read more

I had a chimney that was not working for over 10 years. The damper was broken and the chimney was clogged. I needed a new cap due to rust. I had put off the repairs because I expected a huge bill and didn't have the money. I recently refinanced my home and borrowed a little more to take care of overdue repairs like the chimney. I went to Home Advisor and get some bids as well as locally recommended providers. Several companies came out to bid. Some never showed. Accomplished came out to bid at the time they stated and even called 15 minutes before arrival. The young man who completed the bid was courteous and took time to explain what was needed. I chose Accomplished because they were local and I liked how they took their time to explain things to me. They were able to complete the repair a few days later. I again received a call shortly before they arrived. The repair was efficient and as quoted. The chimney works like it should! We hired this company to repair and clean gutters and also to repair a portico. We signed a contract for $3,000.00. About an hour into the work, the supervisor came by and insisted that due to an unforeseen complication the job would now cost $8,000.00. The complication was that there was additional rotted wood inside the portico that was left from a previous repair. Other companies gave us estimates of $3,400-$3,800.00 to do the same work. The estimates for a new portico were $8,500.00. They did not pause from the project while I frantically called my husband to review our options. We agreed to the price hike. At the completion of the job I gave them the balance of the payment - even though something did not look right to me. After about two days, what I thought was just some dirt on the underside of the portico emerged as full stains (they had tried to wipe away). As well, there are similar stains on the siding over the portico. We are told this was from tar used to seal the edges of the portico and is not likely to be cleaned by a solvent. As well, the soffit surrounding the portico appears to be rumpled or dented. Needless to say we stopped payment on our check and have filed complaints with the NJ Dept of Consumer Affairs the the BBB. A supervisor called us - he sounded sympathetic - but cancelled one appointment to see the situation due to illness and was a no show for the second appointment. I am not the type of person to publicly slam a company, but, I do feel others should be warned before hiring this company. read more

This is more of a buyer beware review, since we did NOT end up using them. Most of what the other 2-star reviewers say seems to ring true. We received a coupon in the mail for the $29 chimney cleaning, on a basic chimney cleaning for an oil burner ONLY, no fireplace. Seems like a good deal, right? (I should have read Yelp first, shame on me). The company representative arrived on time (earning a second star). After we spoke about the job for a few minutes he quoted me $125 and it seemed like he was in a hurry and just wanted to get the "call" over with and move onto his next "victim" or book it (see other peoples reviews about him, they are true). I had many questions and he just took the position that he was correct and knew more than me (BTW, this was not my first chimney). I knew immediately that I would NOT be using him on this house or any others (little did he know that I was looking to use him on five other properties and if he had given me a fair price and did not have the attitude, he would have been hired). If it was an option to leave 0 stars for this company, I would. We should have seen the red flag when no one came for an estimate during the scheduled time. We were told that someone looked around and knocked on our window. We were home for the entire scheduled block. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and set up a time for them to clean our gutters. We were scheduled for the work to be done between 9 and 1. By 1, no one had shown up. My husband called and was told they were delayed. I called again at 2:30 when still no one had shown up. This time we were told that the crew wouldn't make it today. The company offered no apology or accommodation for the inconvenience. I was just hung up on by the secretary/appointment taker as I was mentioning my wife w 2 kids at home would not be able to take a sales pitch on site only a written estimate. I mentioned I was the decision maker but could not wait 6 hours during there appointment window to wait around for a roof estimate and asked if that window could be reduced the night before and she responded no. When I asked if he could leave an estimate and then I could call him after to go over it she said that's what the service provider does on site, I then explained again that would not work so she hung up. Just some advice learn how to work with customers who have scheduling issues if you want there business ,hanging up because a customer needs special care due to a home situation/work schedule is never acceptable. read more

If I could leave 0 stars I would. We had a chimney leak in our master bedroom. They came out said we need a new roof quoted 13k but we opted for the 1200 flashing. They fixed the flashing and it leaked worse. Literally poured in. They came out squeezed some silicone around the flashing, leaked still. Water is seeping in through the brick of the chimney. Came back out and said our roof is fine, we don't need a new roof, but we need a new chimney. $2100 but they won't charge for the new flashing and that when they cut into the brick water came out. Why they didn't come down and explain that to us, I don't know. They shouldn't have done the flashing at that point.We got a second opinion from a-1 prestige who said 2k for the entire chimney and fix the plywood around the chimney because it's all soft. Which this company did not mention. Horrible. Wasted $1200 and super aggravated not to mention more interior drywall damage. Run run run, absolutely do not use. read more

I only called this company to come out to look at my Chimney and they never showed up when the guy was 15 min from my house. He said you are not going to be there? I said no, I told her over the phone no one was going to be there. He said do we have permission to go on the roof? I told him yes. I called his cell phone a few times later to see what he saw and he would not answer because he didn't show up. I found that most contractors would not even give me the courtesy of a return phone call. Accomplished Chimney has support staff that puts you in contact with their field reps in an efficient and timely manner. All appointments were kept as scheduled. Communication was excellent. I had a number of odd jobs completed from the replacement of a damaged gutter to chimney cleaning. All the work was done in a professional and workmanlike way. I was extremely hopefully that Accomplished Chimney responded quickly to my request. They arrived and inspected the roof and did find additional repair work that needed to be done. They gave one outrageous quote for the necessary repair work which we reluctantly accepted. Upon arriving to do the work, they came up with another small list of problems - all of which were relatively minor and doubled the estimate. Although pleasant, their behavior was totally unethical and their pricing is way above anything near honest. They convince you of the urgency, which roof repair work usually is, and they gouge you on pricing. A real bait and switch organization and urge everyone to avoid them. Got couple of facer trims replaced as they blew out with the wind on one day, and supposed to power washing the whole roof on the following day, but they power washed only part of it on one side, where there was some green fungus and were trying to take off the trims that were already put on. Hired Accomplished Chimney to replaced one gutter and do some chimney work. Told the worker before the gutter was installed that it need to be slightly pitched toward the down sprout for proper drainage. I was told that they know what they are doing and that I should trust the professional to do the job. Well the gutter was not proper pitched and I have to call them up and have it reinstalled. As with repointing the Chimney, I saw the holes on the chimney standing from the ground after the job was done. After I told the worker this. One of the worker went back up to redo the area, but used his hands only. Other than prompt and quick, the quality of the work is very poor. read more

Called them to clean my gutters - they gave me an estimate which was higher than I expected and claimed it was the size of the house and the 'steep' roof. Since I was a bit concerned with the water cascading down the side of the house, I told them to go ahead. They finished the job in 10 minutes (I could hear them easily move about the roof) and covered my lawn with all the garbage. I had to pay the landscaper to clean it up. First time trying them after seeing their add in a coupon mailing envelope. Called for a simple chimney sweep service and was greeted with numerous conditions as to how & when the coupons apply. This was the first warning that I needed to be careful. Was also warned that they were backed up and could not come immediately. Said OK, as I did not require same day service. Took them up on their free estimate offer and scheduled an appointment, for a Saturday between 9am and 1pm. Got up early, cleared furniture, cleaned remaining ashes and prepped the area. NO SHOW! They called last minute saying they were backed up and would not be available for at least another two hours, i.e. after 3pm. Happy to work with anyone that gives you ample time to reschedule or make alternate plans but last minute calls mean I wasted 4 hours of my Saturday. They do good work but are well overpriced and pressure consumers into purchasing..........I received a high estimate for work to be done on my Chimney/Roof and the guy who came to the house stressed that we should act fast to prevent further damage from inclement weather. It would be a 1 day job and the only materials needed were wood. They wanted to charge me a ridiculous price for a 1 day job. I found a licensed contractor elsewhere to do the exact same thing for 1/4th the price. I would not recommend this company. I asked the repair man who came to my house to provide me with a written estimate, which he agreed to do. When I called the office three days later to check on the status of the estimate, I was told that they charge $100 for a written estimate, which then would be deducted from the repair cost. I explained that the damage to my chimney was being covered by our insurance so I needed to provide two estimates. The woman at Accomplished then told me if they weren't selected to do the job, I would lose my $100. I told her that their advertisement on the "Money Mailer" said "free estimates". She said that meant verbally. The ad, of course doesn't say this at all. Any business that wont provide a written estimate as common practice is not operating transparently. read more
