I paid $8500 to this company on 5/10/25 for new gutters, down spouts, and to provide a chimney cap…read moreon my roof which was not provided by the original roofing company that completely tore off my existing roof to install a completely new roof on my house 2021. The jobs Accomplished Chimney completed was efficient and in high standards. I am now in need of a roof cert and/or inspection for renewal of my HOI policy. Being I was quite satisfied with Accomplished I decided to call them. First I spoke to Gianna who gave me a quote of $160 and told me the owner Izzy would be calling me. He called me right after I got off the phone with Gianna. He, in turn, quoted me $500 as he'd have to dispatch his entire crew come to my home. I responded with "why an entire crew"? He became irate when questioned stating they'd have to use a ladder to get up on my roof. At that point he accused me of wanting a free inspection. Logically thinking why would a team of guys be needed to see the numbers of layers my (new) roof has and if any shingles were lifting? I by no means expected a free ride and would gladly have paid a common and customary fee. When I mentioned about writing a review, as I didn't appreciate being yelled at or being told I'm being nasty, or want a free handout he threatened me with his attorney. I may have to call Judge Judy on this one! ;-) Pursuant to the FCRA, I quote: "Putting an honest negative review about a company's owner or employee online is not illegal in the United States. Your right to express opinions and share truthful experiences regarding the behavior of an individual of a company is protected by the First Amendment and the federal Consumer Review Fairness Act. We are beyond happy with how they treated us, the price and the work…read more My boyfriend and I had met Matt one of the guys from there at our local vets office and I asked do a card as we needed someone to fix a few issues on our siding. We ended up having an emergency and needed to redo the chimney. They quoted us a fair price , we're on time and got everything done and cleaned up in a timely professional way . They even dealt with me yelling if there were any birds or animals in there to let me know so I could trap them and get them to a Santuary (thankfully there were none) I saw some people saying they were "condescending" to women, all I can say about that is that some women need to complain about anything. My mom is 73 years old and was home at the time and Matt took her dog for a walk for her out of the kindness of his heart! Who does that these days? They even gave us a coupon for our next gutter cleaning free. I hope we have no more issues but if we did I would certainly give them our business

If you are going to install anything yourself or have someone other than their installer do this…read moreAVOID these people. We bought a ventless gas log set from them. I wanted to support a local business and had naïvely felt that they would stand behind what they sold so I did not mind paying the extra money. I would have been way better off buying it on Amazon or another site online! I already had the gas line so I just needed to replace the old log set. First of all, when my wife picked it up you must sign a waiver that says you have a total of 24 hours to inspect everything. Then they have a clause in the waiver that states it may need "FINE" tuning. They also claim they do not do the installation and support they have contractors that do it, but their website clearly states they do installs and service. I installed the unit and it would run for a minute and turn off. I went to the manufactures website and found out you cannot contact them or get support; you must contact the dealer you bought it from. I called to find out how to get it fixed under warranty. Now even though the website is covered with service and support options I was told they don't do the service or support I needed to call their contractor and schedule a service call. When you call the contractor it sends you back to Albers to schedule the service call ?????? Oh, and that is $300. The tech came out and found out the thermocouple was not near the pilot light, and he needed to take it all apart then move the pilot light and the thermocouple, so they got next to each other and aligned. I have a checkout sheet with the unit that states who built it and tested it, it all says it was all tested and passed. So, I called back again to see how I could get credit for the fixing the manufactures defect. I was now told that since they did not have to replace any parts it was not a manufactures defect in workmanship it was a "FINE TUNING" and therefore it was not covered, and I had to pay the $300 myself. So, I should not expect to pay over $2000 for a gas log set and then expect it to work out of the box. Imagine if you bought a fancy gas stove and one of the burns did not light so you called Maytag and they fixed it and handed you a bill for $300 tow day safter you bought it. Albers sees no problem with this. If I had just bought it from Amazon or another online vendor I could have packed it up and got another one that was manufactured correctly. Instead, it cost me extra to by it and then $300 extra to get it to work.
