A couple nights ago (Friday before 4th of July weekend, of course), the kitchen sink started to back up. It wasn't just a bit slow, it was pretty much unusable. I'm pretty sure I heard it laugh at me when I poured Drano down it. It did nothing. They responded quickly and were able to come out on Sunday. Boy, I'm glad they did! They pulled out so much gunk out of the pipes! I forget the name of the plumber that came out, but I appreciate his dedication towards ensuring we didn't need to have them come out again. He snaked the pipes almost all the way to the outside of the house, clearing out what was assuredly years of gross build up! We'll totally use them again if we have any other plumbing problems. After we agreed on the type of replacement faucets (quarter-turn) and the cost; they installed black bibs (360-turn) instead of the agreed-upon faucets. The owner tried to convince me to accept subpar work by indicating that the black faucets were good and did not require anchoring. When, I touched the faucet/bib it freely moved. I have attached pictures showing the old blue faucets, the replaced black bids (not anchored), and the hopefully correctly replaced quarter- turn blue faucets. I informed the owner who was on-site this was unacceptable and caulk was not a stabilizer. The owner then went and purchased the faucets bibs initially requested which cost approximately $10 each and removed the makeshift black bibs. It only took about 5 minutes to change each faucet/ bib. I can't help but wonder whether my gender (female), unethical work practices or any unknown variables played a role in this situation. Why would this company not install what was requested and agreed upon? Why would anyone cause a loose, exposed, or unsecured water pipe that could lead to a costly disaster? While I typically don't leave negative reviews even when mishaps occur, this experience was unacceptable. Cost approximately $350.

He called an electrician he has worked with, who turned out to be very reasonable and someone I will use in the future for my electrical needs, and the day after that work completed, Brandon & William quickly capped the gas line and replaced with a new electric water heater. Brandon was correct electric was much more reasonable price, in my case, than replacing with another gas water heater. A $1,000 LABOR QUOTE FOR A REPAIR THAT TOOK ABOUT AN HOUR AND THEN TRIED TO HOLD PARTS THAT BELONGED TO ME HOSTAGE WHEN i WANTED TO GET THE REPAIR DONE BY ANOTHER COMPANY. BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE, TEXAS WATER HEATERS SEEMED FAR MORE INTERESTED IN MAXIMIZING THE SERVICE BILL THAN HELPING RESOLVE THE PROBLEM. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THEM. USE EXTREME CAUTION AND GET A SECOND OPINION BEFORE APPROVING ANY REPAIR WORK. We purchased a Navien tankless water heater from Texas Water Heaters in December 2023 (their recommendation), including installation of a new electrical outlet. When the unit stopped producing hot water less than three years later, we expected a straightforward warranty repair. Instead, we spent five days without hot water while Texas Water Heaters turned a relatively simple repair into a frustrating and expensive ordeal. The technician initially told us the motherboard had failed, they were getting weird electrical readings and that labor would be covered because Texas Water Heaters had installed the electrical outlet. Texas water heaters then brought in an electrician, who claimed the outlet was functioning properly. After that, Texas Water Heaters changed course and presented us with a quote of $1,000 in labor (because we hadn't purchased their service package/labor warranty at time of install) to replace a fan and PCB control board, despite the parts being covered under warranty. YES, THEY TRIED TO CHARGE $1000 TO REPLACE TWO ELECTRICAL PARTS COVERED UNDER MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY IN ADDITION TO THE $89.00 service fee just to come out! The THOUSAND DOLLAR estimate to replace two electrical components IMMEDIATELY raised red flags. I contacted another Navien-authorized service provider, who told me the repair should take about half an hour and that their hourly rate was $175. Unsurprisingly, I chose the second company. The situation became even more frustrating when Navien informed us that Texas Water Heaters had arranged for my warranty replacement parts to be shipped to their office instead of my home. Navien further explained that because Texas Water Heaters had accepted delivery of the parts on my behalf, Navien would not send replacements and I would need to obtain the parts from Texas Water Heaters. When I called to request my parts, I was initially told they had to be returned to Navien. Only after I requested written confirmation that Texas Water Heaters was refusing to release parts that belonged to me did they call back and suddenly agree I could drive over and pick them up. The second service company completed the repair, installed the warranty parts, and performed a full tune-up for a little over $300.

The home was built in 1971, and did not have a washer/dryer included. We installed a new washer and ran the first load of wash. The washroom and kitchen sinks backed up with dirty water. Initially, when I described the issue to Lisaann the owner, she thought that it was broken sewer line because of the dirt in the water. This was on a weekend, and the owners of Plumb Perfect were at regional sporting event for their daughter but took time to send Tanner Rokohl to fix the issue. Tanner came and analyzed the problem, then suggested doing a 3000 psi power flush. He did not think it was a broken line. Tanner is extremely knowledgeable, honest, sincere, and loves his work. Tanner took time and explained why he advised us to do the power flush. He did the flush & it worked! This is a situation where we could have been taken advantage of and sold a sewer line re-pipe at considerably more money. We are grateful for using Plumb Perfect, a business with honesty & integrity.
