Their selection of All In One desk computers is not great, but they have more than some. And the salespeople are trained and know what they are selling. They take their time with every customer. The place is spotless and their prices are usually the best in town. When you walk in you are greeted and it does not take long to get help. I would give them a 5 but their Geek Squad is not the best and I can't recommend them. I am sure they are great for simple things. I spent a couple weeks gathering all the components I've been eyeing and made the pilgrimage down to Micro Center (in Tustin) to take advantage of a great MOBO/Proc/RAM bundle. The last time I built a PC was in 2008 and at this point in my life, I just wanted an expert to help me get everything running and optimized. Gar was that expert. This guy knows his stuff and I couldn't be happier with my (first) experience at Helix. He runs the shop by himself and is clearly a lifelong PC enthusiast. It was really cool to see all his customers more 'aesthetic' builds that were in progress. I'm old so I wanted something with as little RGB as possible (haha). He even has a mini museum of PC components from decades past on display which really sent me down a VERY nerdy memory lane. He put together a 9800X3D / 5080 air cooled monster and everything runs perfectly. He optimized Win11 and walked me through everything he did when I picked up the machine. After opening the PC and putting it in, I ended up actually busting my geforce video card and the screens wouldn't show anything anymore. I went to geek squad on besbuy at labrea and they wanted to charge me 200 dollars to take 3-5 days to diagnose the problem, because they weren't sure about what it was. I said no ty, went for some lunch and found Computer Works with the help of a store clerk on gamestop. Turns out these guys are a block from where I live, and for being such a small store, I hadn't even reminded that they were there. In the end, I got there, showed the guy my computer and told him my story. I really couldn't afford the 3-5 days of wait to diagnose because I have to finish some work within that time frame, and it's all inside my PC. In 10 min, he made all the tests, figured out it was the videocard's memory, and charged me only 25 bucks. I insisted in paying more but they didn't let me. They ordered me a new and better geforce 250 gts card for a total of 198 bucks (the price geek squad wanted me to pay for "diagnosis"). This is the kind of place where you want to go, where they really dont have a nice little brand with TV commercials, but it's a place where they will be nice and truth to you, and won't charge you a penny extra for that. I bought with them a computer duster, that was like 35 bucks in best buy, for $4,50 with them. And one more thing, because I'm not done yet. Right now I'm at home, writing this review, with my computer running on one of their video cards, that they let me have while my new video card is being shipped. If that's not caring about your customer, I don't know what is! No where else for me as far as computers go. I hope they stay in business for long, so that I will always know my PC is safe.

Really disappointing experience. I came into the Apple Store specifically because I wanted help…read moretransferring and setting up my new iPhone. I'm not tech savvy, and if I wanted to figure everything out myself, I would have just picked up the phone and done it at home. The employee never explained that I had different transfer options or the differences between a direct phone-to-phone transfer and an iCloud restore. He chose the iCloud route, and I left with my phone still syncing data in the background, Messages repeatedly pausing its iCloud sync, and additional setup issues I then had to troubleshoot myself. What made it worse was that while helping me, he became noticeably distracted by another customer who arrived after I did, moved over to his table, and even started offering him fruit snacks while I was still trying to get my new phone sorted out. Apple needs to train employees to actually explain the setup options and make sure customers understand what's happening before taking their trade-in. That is literally why some of us take the time to go into the store for help. I really like my new phone, but the service and setup experience were disappointing and could have been handled much better.
