Horrible customer service. I purchased an open box that had a factory defect. It was past the 30 days when I notice that it wasnt even working. I emailed and called and was told I could send it in for a refund. When I arrived at Tilta in Burbank the directed me to purchase a new v mount for tilta ring grip, but they did not issue my refund. A couple days later I call to ask about my refund and wasnt processes properly. I called again today and was told that they just started the process today. Im definitely not gonna purchase anything else from TILTA. Ill let my friends and followers know aswell. Ai customer service sucks! read more

I called in need of a locking washer for a tilta alien arm and they are back ordered. They did mention they have them in other packages but they where unwilling to just sell me the washer than I need to be able to use their product in an incoming shoot. I felt let down. I ordered the Float System online which says "shipping 4-6 weeks" on July 23rd 2021, I called the store a few times, after and was giving dates their shipment was suppose to come in from China, no return call or email when shipment date changed! As of today September 27th I called the store to check on my order which is now over 8weeks and the representative in Burbank had the nerve to have a super unpleasant short fuse disposition with me telling me ordering online gives a estimate :-( with no real resolves telling me to WAIT till October 5 or after that I can cancel my order and get my money back. Went to purchase a #Tilta #NucleusM kit from their website. I called on Friday to confirm they had it in stock. Ignacio said they had two in stock. Called today to confirm they had it in stock before I headed over, and Sam confirmed they had two in stock. I drove over there to pick it up. Ignacio tells me there is a discrepancy between the online price and the price he's seeing on his end. He said he'd talk to management to find out what was going on. I immediately took a screenshot of the price it was at on Friday in case they changed the price. Nucleus M follow focus is robust and seems very well built, that is until it just stops working for no apparent reason then the nightmares will began. let me explain. On 3/25/24 I requested service for repair for a nucleus M motor that suddenly just stopped working. The motor was shipped to them from NY and after a week I called to find out the status of the repair, they seemed to have totally forgotten about it and so the spiral into the abyss began. Another week passed and they requested payment for which I gave them a $130 for repairing a fried board plus shipping. The repair was complete and paid for and all there was to do was wait for my package to arrive in the mail. I let two weeks pass and called yet again to find out the status of my package. The person I spoke to said it's here ready for pick up. I said I am not driving from NY to california to pick up a focus motor , I'm located in NY and paid someone weeks prior extra just for shipping alone. This was on a monday and I requested it be overnighted for the weeks of aggravation and confusion, he agreed. Thursday rolled around and my 1st AC asked if the motor arrived yet, I said no and called back again. Yet again they forgot to ship it! Furious at this point I demanded again it be overnighted for which it finally was, the next day I received it, ! It arrived praise the LORD! oh wait , I spoke to soon, you guessed it, its still not working. I Called tech support and spoke to Ricardo who went through a "pairing" on the phone and still nothing. He then requested a video of how I was doing the pairing for which I did and he agreed there was an issue and most likely did not test it prior to shipping since they kept forgetting about this motor. Now 2 months into this chaos I said just send me a replacement motor since I paid for the repair and your failed to repair it, he said his " boss" would not approve that and for me to ship my motor back plus they wanted my Fiz as well. Having given up on this whole debacle at this point I said fine send me a shipping label. That was on June 3rd 2024, and that was the last time I heard from Ricardo even though I sent three follow up emails since then , nothing!! I called TILTA today (7/7/24) and spoke to a secretary using a gamut of choice words asking for a supervisor who said there was no one there for me to speak to. I said have someone call me asap!! Of course that didn't happen. I now have a $600 paperweight on my desk. This is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with, customer service is absolutely beyond horrific! They took my money and failed to do their job competently. If you own a Tilta follow focus make sure it doesn't fail or you'll be screwed! read more

The Gimbal Operator is 7'2" tall! A bit of a challenge we thought! Well the People at Tilta are very knowledgeable, and fitted the Gimbal properly on the operator! They are Very Customer Service Oriented! And Customer Support Aftercare as well! Went out of their way to ensure that the Gimbal arrived on time ! I have to say that I do love Tilta products. I ordered a cage for my A7SII and it came with a faulty hotshoe mount on top. I wasn't able to attach anything to it. I contacted this location and I was told to send it in and they would either fix it or send me a new one. There was some confusion about where my cage was delivered and I was extremely worried that it got lost. Chris over at Tilta took all of my phone calls, listened to all of my complaints and helped me all along the way while my package was "missing". Turns out USPS delivered it next door, they repaired my hotshoe mount and sent it back, I had it the next day! Difficulties arise when dealing with customers and Chris really went the extra mile to work with me. He didn't avoid my calls during this fiasco. He listened and provided great customer service. If I could 0 stars I would. Where do I start. I ordered a open box Nucleus M and it arrived with parts missing as well as parts damaged. I immediately called the Burbank office and setup a appointment for the next day to have the issue rectified. When I arrived I was told that I had stolen the items that were missing and that I would be offered no return and no exchange. They even went as far as to try to sell me the parts that were missing. This was very frustrating and they made no attempt to right the situation or hear what I had to say. Norman was especially rude with his remarks. On top of all of this they said the order I had received was not from them at all. They claimed I planted used gear in the box and was attempting to mislead them. They even went as far as to claim the box didnt even come from their location even though the label showed them as the shipper the day prior. 0 accountability. To summarize, Tilta is a company with no class. They rip off other peoples designs and sell them as their own at an extreme discount. They offer the worst customer service experience that I have ever had form a company in the film industry and their employees are just kind of shitty which I guess could be expected. If you guys over their at Tilta Burbank get your act together and contact me to rectify this issue I will consider adding to this post that you fixed the issue and made it right. Maybe start with reviewing the security footage from yesterday when you shipped the item so you can see you DID indeed ship this box. For now I am absolutely disgusted with your business practices.
