It felt like every camera I wanted to buy I wouldn't be able to take delivery of by the end of the year so I made some compromises in order to get something from these guys. Even after being told my cameras should ship they were delayed and I missed deadline after deadline. At one point I even had to have them redirect my shipments to the 4 Seasons where I was staying on holiday in an attempt to actually take delivery of what I bought and they still didn't deliver. Incomplete shipments, incorrect shipments, and here I am months later and I'm still dealing with trying to solve an order from December. The only star I can give to the folks at Abel was in their support department. The guy they had me working with, Jason, did help me put together the package I wanted even if I couldn't actually get what he was telling me to buy. He had a fast response time even if every time I talked to the guy he was telling me things were delayed or he flat out didn't have them in the warehouse. I honestly don't know how this place does business since they never seem to have anything on the shelf and then after almost three months awaiting a lens that I tell them I don't want anymore they try to tell me that I have to keep it.

Boota (the owner) is a man of honor and understanding. He realizes that renting film equipment is expensive and is very supportive of all filmmakers. His pricing is incredible, in fact it almost seems TOO GOOD to be true. I pay about half of what I do compared to other rental houses when I get his RED Epic & Movi packages. He's got an incredible amount of equipment always keeps his gear clean and updated. Now aside from the equipment is his quality service. My crew & I were shooting out in the desert (2 hours away from his shop in Burbank) when we noticed that we were missing a few pieces from our package. Boota was kind enough to drive all the way out to deliver the cord to us -- AT NO CHARGE. Deck of Aces makes you feel like family. The whole team is very professional and flexible with your needs. Very disappointing experience at the Burbank Sunglass Hut. I purchased Ray-Ban Meta glasses from…read morethe Glendale location and was told I could return them at any Sunglass Hut. I came to the Burbank location with the original receipt, packaging, and all included items. The associate, Evelyn, told me there was an issue with the lenses and refused the return. I tried to understand the reason and resolve the situation, but the interaction became uncomfortable and security was called. I was not threatening or trying to cause a scene -- I was simply trying to complete a return and understand why it was being denied. What was most frustrating is that I went back to the Glendale Sunglass Hut, where I originally purchased them, and they accepted the return without any issues. Since both locations are Sunglass Hut, I am disappointed that the experience and handling of the situation were so different. I hope management reviews how this interaction was handled because customers should feel respected when trying to resolve an issue. Evelyn really needs to be looked at this location. I have never been treated this badly.

She asked if I had any questions and I told her I was just browsing so she said to let her know if I had any questions. They didn't have a lot of Oakley sunglasses so nothing stood out to me. I also looked at their Ray Ban sunglasses but I can't wear them comfortably
