Good small camera store. Kinda becoming my go to spot for film camera stuff. Bought a Nikon FA and a Nikon 50mm lens for fair prices. Guy behind counter was very knowledgeable about these cameras and helped me buy what I needed.

    Cheaper and faster than CVS

Covid hours! :) I took this pic on a Monday :(

Cam is so cool. He will tell you how to insert film into a camera and you'll have to do it in front of him. which is a fun learning experience. Cam has Dubble film! It's expensive but man, those effects are truly somethin else. They do developing however it takes a week which I don't mind because it's like "film shouldn't make you worry too much..." truth. Anyways I need to go here again because Cam said he will look at my older cameras to see if they need fixin.

    Developed 35mm film.

I'm super grateful to find a closer place to me to develop film. I've been driving pretty far for it and this is conveniently in my city. I got some rolls developed today for the first time, but ended up paying under $40 for just two rolls. That's kinda expensive, but I figured it's because the city it's in. I think a closer to fair price is around $30 dollars for two, though I know there's a difference in pricing for b/w and color. I'll probably continue looking for a cheaper place, but for now this will do.

*I mean seriously guys...Cherie takes a good passport photo*

If you need a passport photo-- this is the place! Cam Photo & Imaging was recommended to me by a colleague, I'm finally taking the plunge and getting my first passport and was NOT looking forward to (what I thought was going to be) another terrible government ID photo-- I'm SO GLAD I went here. Cherie was friendly and put me at ease immediately and seriously, she takes a great passport photo. They have a mirror right there so you can have any last looks or make any adjustments- very convenient. It took three shots and I had something I was happy with. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes and when I was there (around 12:30ish) there was plenty of street parking. Really great experience!

Ask the Community - Cam Photo & Imaging

Do you do digital printing and, if so, do you carry Canson Infinity Platine Fibre rag in 11x17?

Yes we do digital printing, but we do not have Canson paper. Try Samys camera. Thanks.

Would you be able to shrink an image that was posted on my Aura to fit in a locket? Thank you

No, sorry. But thank you for sking. If the original image is emaile to you, and not shrunk, we could do it.

How much you charge for passport photo 4 copies?

For standard US passport photos, 4 photos is $15.95 plus tax.

How much is it to have my 35mm film developed and scanned? How long is the process and will you return my negatives?

Cost depends on if it's b/w and other things as well. Turn around is quick about 3 days or little more depending on what day you drop off and they do return your negatives.

If something innovative drops in the camera world, they either already have it or can get it fast. That matters when you're trying to stay current and competitive. SHARING PSA FOR ALL CUSTOMERS AND RENTAL HOUSES!…read more I contacted my rep at Studio Depot for a set of 10' speed rail which I was able to purchase at a discounted price. I was initially very satisfied with the order and requested that it be fulfilled. I provided my FedEx account number to the representative and authorized him to charge the account for the shipping. However, the representative failed to inform me of the shipping charges before completing the order. After days of waiting, I figured the order was sitting in the shipping cue since I was never provided a shipping cost or tracking number. The shipment arrived out of the blue; and about a week later, I was hit with a $1,507 charge from FedEx which I initially figured was fraud. Come to find out, there was either negligence in the measuring of the package, or ignorance of courtesy, that resulted in an automatic "Ground Unauthorized Package Charge" from FedEx in the amount of $1,250. That meant that the total cost to ship the item without the extra charge was $257, which in and of itself should be reason enough to inform me that the shipping would cost more than the item itself. Nevertheless, were I made aware of any such shipping cost, I would have happily driven from our location in Santa Barbara to LA to pick it up myself. Hell, I'd even bike there. Since then, I have reached out, pleading for a resolution, and the issue has simply been neglected. LONG STORY SHORT: IF YOU ARE PURCHASING ITEMS THROUGH SALES REPS AT THIS COMPANY, explicitly request that they inform you of the shipping charges especially for larger items. I certainly hope that this company increases its transparency with its customers in the future. Don't waste your time or money here. I still hope to see this resolved.

Yes they are a bit pricey, but there's not really a huge market for film equipment. Today's trip I scored some black A Clamps. I know it sounds pretty goofy to get excited about a clamp, but at the same time it's fun to collect smaller items that don't cost an arm & a leg for your studio! Plus, it saves me the hassle from having to spray paint all the clamps anyway! Also I got 20% off my purchase, not sure why, but yay! I will always come back here when I can. The only shitty part is they are open on weekdays only :(.

Two weeks later, I get a call that my camera is "ready for pickup." When I questioned this, the man admitted the technician "made a mistake" and offered to remove the part--but why would I have you take out something you already installed, especially when I never asked for it in the first place? I paid the fee, only to discover the camera was still malfunctioning--it overheats every 20 minutes, which is the same issue I originally brought it in for. Clearly, it was never properly diagnosed or fixed. When I finally had time to bring it back (about 3 months later), I explained the issue calmly. Instead of offering help or a second look, he immediately dismissed me, said there was a 30-day warranty (which he couldn't show me), and refused to look at the camera again. He then proceeded to call me a "bitch" under his breath and followed it up with "damn woman"--completely out of line and unprofessional. He offered no solution, no accountability, and no respect.
