This place is awesome! I came here a couple months ago on a Friday night when my vape stopped working. In a panic (well, nic-fit really) I was driving around to different vape places to no avail. They were either closed or weren't even there anymore. Found this place and went in a bit frenzied and in need of help to fix the unit. Lance must have spent half an hour with me checking the coil, battery, all the different parts, but alas, it was broken. He recommended the Smok RPM 40 after we discussed my preferences (compact, cost effective, easy to use), and gave me an oil I really like too. They have a cool lounge set-up with a big TV. A group of guys were there watching something while Lance was helping me, and I noticed it was The Mandalorian. I commented that I really love that show, and Lance made them pause it since it was that nights new episode and he didn't want me to see any spoilers! What a great shop by all standards. All too often when I need vape pods or salts, the vape stores/smoke shops feel more like in and out liquor stores. They want to make a sale, have you leave so they can get back to texting or instagram, and most seem to know little about what they are selling or expect you to know and wait for you to ask the right questions before offering information. Designed with vision, you walk up a long ramp (handicap accessible) to an open floor plan. A white billiard table, ready to go, in the middle. Left of that was a living room type area with nice couches and a table, a flat screen, there were table top, vintage video games to sit at and play. Plenty of books and magazines, and killer vintage games (I saw at least 3 Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots games out and about ready to play. I'm just getting around to this, but TLDR: Racism and lack of safety. It really sucks to write this, but after going to this place for 2/3 years, I'm really disappointed in my experience with who I think was the owner. Kalani is his name I think? September 21 is the last time I came in here and will be the last time I will ever set foot in there. There's a big sign in the entry that asks you to put on a mask and sanitize your hands. A little box with masks is provided. Great right? Except THE ONLY GUY WORKING, the ONE person who represents the company, had his mask hanging off his ear and left it there the entire time he chatted with me. What good is your super cool set up on the TV with instructions for everyone to wear a mask when you don't return the favor and wear one yourself? I hope the owner is reading this: go look at your footage from 9/21 and you'll see your mask dangling around your ear the whole time I was in there. But that's not that part that sucked. While I was waiting to get checked out, Kalani(?) used the term "Kung Flu" to refer to the coronavirus in front of me, an Asian person. It's very well documented that hate crimes against Asian-Americans has risen since the pandemic, I've experienced it first hand, and it's generally agreed upon that terms such as "Kung Flu" and "Chinese virus" are extremely racist and derogatory terms. Go ahead and Google either one and see how individuals who have used those terms have faced backlash every single time. It's generally agreed upon that it's NOT OKAY to use those terms. I have like 300 points racked up with Vape Theory, I've been going there for all my vaping needs for at least 3 years now. It's generally a pretty chill place to be and I've had great experiences with them. That's why it hurts so much that the owner or whoever it was I dealt with on September 21 would be fine throwing around the term "Kung Flu" without thinking about how that term propagates anti-Asian sentiment in an already difficult time. I thought everyone working there was cool, but now I'm not so sure if you think it's okay to use derogatory terms in front of someone who is pretty clearly Asian. I was saving those points for a new mod purchase or something but honestly at this point I never want to go back, so go ahead and give those points to someone else. Edit: I also acknowledge that I should have written this review earlier. But to be honest, on top of my busy schedule, I was already just too tired with hearing and dealing with racism that I didn't want to write about it. But the owner of this place needs to know that this is not okay. It's Veteran's Day and I (a veteran) should be out enjoying some free food, but I'm taking the time to write this all out and stand up for any other individuals who have felt uncomfortable with any other racist remarks that the staff may have used. read more

Finally a vape shop/lounge that actually stocks hardware that intermediate and advanced vapers want, not just Smok or Aspire kits for beginners. I have now purchased a few high-end RDA/RTAs and some really rare accessories, like the Trippy Tips Plasma tank and glass cap for the Kennedy 24 RDA. I have visited several vape shops around LA and for those who choose Vape Theory as their first stop when getting into vaping will have no idea until later what a fortuitous choice it was because they might not, like every other vaper out there, end up outgrowing their first mod within the first month or two just by virtue of the fact that they have a wide variety of kits, mods, tanks, RDAs, RTAs, and accessories to choose from and staff to help them do it. Speaking of staff, Jose and Brandon and Jeremy are awesome and so friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating, warm, welcoming, and always smiling. Management must be pretty good because it's weird that all of the employees are so happy and all seem to really like working there. That really pays off for the management in more than just reducing employee turnover. That happiness is passed on to the customer and then, as a customer, I feel welcome there. I love hanging out in the lounge to watch TV, work on my laptop editing my vape reviews for YouTube (search Rio Torxx on YouTube), talking with the other customers to check out each other's mods, juices, and just plain socializing. They have an XBOX One, Playstation 3 and an arcade as well as e-hookah's at the tables around the pool table. If they got a liquor license and somehow California still allowed people to vape in the shop while serving drinks, it would probably be one of the most popular places in town, especially given the population of Glendale and how many people in Glendale smoke hookah. It would also bring awareness to all of those hookah smokers that there is an "E-cigarette" option for them as well that will feel the same as the hookah but be a safer alternative. The service is above and beyond. I've never seen a shop that cares about customer more than itself. A little story. I came on a New Years eve because they had 25% off on hardware and 60% off e liquids. (Which happens pretty often tho). I came around 11 am and there was just one guy behind the counter who happened to be the new owner of the place. His name is Kalani. (I'm so sorry if I misspelled). I wanted to buy wismak gen3 but they were out of it so I thought "damn I gotta pay full price somewhere else" BUT Kalani told me that he can order the gen3 mod and I can buy it with the New Years special offer as soon as it arrives. It took a week and my brand new wismak gen3 was handed to me with 25% off. Boom. The other guy Jose helped me with the Troll tank. He showed me how to build it from scratch twice! Every time I have a question about my device I call Jose and he helps me through the phone. I honestly never seen any place like that. I've been in dozens of vape shops in LA and nobody cares about a customer as much as this guys. They respect me and I respect them. Really love this place. read more
